Review: After correcting a debt with [redacted] stellar recovery continues to call me attempting to collect a debt I have been charged incorrectly for. Stellar recovery representatives refuse to contact [redacted] regarding my debt. I even received a rude response from a gentlemen who said "even our C.E.O cannot follow up with [redacted] regarding your debt". [redacted] has stated each time I call that my billing issues are settled yet Stellar Recovery has reported to my credit report the last three months dropping my score drastically. I have been unable to receive any resolution with this issue and have considered lawsuit (defamation of character, stress, financial loss) as a last resort if this does not work.Desired Settlement: Correct my credit report for the past four months all false allegations removed.

Response:

Stellar Reovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 02-04-213, Stellar did receive a past due billing from [redacted] for [redacted] for services at [redacted], we are showing the amount due was for services and there were no equipment charges included in the amount. We did speak with Ms. [redacted] on 03-02-2013, 03-11-2013 and 03-21-2013 in which is seemed to beleive the charges were related to equipment that had been returned in November of 2012. Our agents indicated that we had not received any credits from [redacted]. In the Revdex.com complaint, she indicates that [redacted] is telling her she owes nothing, we have reviewed the file and have closed it as disputed and returned it to [redacted] with her information regarding the dispute. We have also ordered an AUD Eoscar Deletion request to all Credit Bureaus, the confirmation number for the deletion is [redacted]. We have also ordered validation of this claim from our client, we will mail the documents to the address provided to the Revdex.com. We have closed the file on our end, so she can deal directly with [redacted] after she reviews the documents. If Ms. [redacted] has any additional questions, she can call [redacted] directly at [redacted]

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I am willing to accept the offer made by stellar recovery however I find it hard to believe my file has been deleted seeing as I have already received phone calls from them today. If my case is no longer on file then why would I still receive phone calls. I would like to know how I can prove this has been dropped and if ALL collections reports on my credit report from stellar recovery will be diminished and when this will take place.

Regards,

The file has been closed as of 04-26-2013, there was a call pre-sceduled by the dialer on 04-26, that was the last call made, the file has been returned to [redacted]. The deletion to credit Reports has a confirmation # of [redacted]

Review: In January 2016, it was brought to my attention that Comcast has submitted a bill that was sent over to Stellar Recovery, Inc. collection agency in error. I contacted Comcast to have this issue resolved back on February 22, 2016 at which time I was notified by Comcast’s executive department that this issue would be resolved within 7-10 business days and the collection agency would be notified this account was sent to them in error, that the account would be rescinded and all credit reporting agencies notified. I have called Stellar Recovery as well as sent a certified letter to Stellar Recovery, Inc. with no resolution from my call and no response to my certified letter.

Today is March 15, 2016, I have been informed by the credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) that this account now shows on my credit report as a PAID COLLECTIONS account versus being removed as it should have never been sent over to this collection agency in the first place.Desired Settlement: I want this collection account entry, which was submitted to all three credit bureau’s (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) removed from my credit profile and report immediately.

I want an updated credit report mailed or email to me showing this entry has been successfully removed from my credit profile and report.

Review: Dish Network referred my account to Stellar Recovery Inc. to collect $218.00. This money I never owe to them because they didn't provide the service since they couldn't lock the signal. This problem was resolved with Dish Network however, Stellar Recovery Inc. is showing in my credit report as I still owe this money; information that is completely incorrect. I try to contact Stellar Recovery over a week ago as of this day and still haven’t received answer on this matter. Before I spend more money to hire a lawyer I want to give you Revdex.com the chance to dispute this matter. Thank you.Desired Settlement: Remove the collection from my credit report as soon as possible.

Review: For the past year I have been receiving harassing phone calls on and off twice a day from this company from local telephone # ###-###-####. Sometimes there would be no answer for a minute, other times I would be transferred, and on at least 2 occasions I was threatened by the caller that I would be sued for everything I owned. On at least 2 occasions when I finally spoke to a supervisor and explained that the original creditor [redacted] had mistakenly charged me an extra month of service after I cancelled, and that I had already explained this to the creditor, I was ignored. And the harassing phone calls resumed on and off over a period of a year.Desired Settlement: STOP CALLING MY HOME PHONE AND TELL THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR [redacted] that it is their error!

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 04-02-2014, we did receive a [redacted] file in our office in the name of [redacted] for services at [redacted]. All calls are recorded and our records show that we talked to the consumer on 04-04-2014 from a number ###-###-#### not ###-###-####, the consumer briefly stated the nature of a dispute and claimed we had been harrassing him for 6 months and then hung up the phone, the Agent was cut off before she could give any information and no threats were made at all. Calls to ###-###-#### and ###-###-#### have been made since 04-04-2014. We have removed all phone numbers from the file and have closed the file as disputed and have returned the file to [redacted]. We have not been calling the numbers for over a year as we did not have this file in our office until Last month, we have had one conversation with someone on 04-04-2014 but no threats of any kind were made. We do believe the agent should have closed the file as disputed on 04-04-2014. Again, this file has been closed and returned to [redacted]. Any credit reporting has been ordered deleted.

This company uses harassment tactics including calling relatives, acquaintenances and employers. Even after being asked to stop doing so. They threaten to have you arrested. They call repeatedly sometimes 4 or 5 times in a row. I am about ready to get a lawyer and go after them!

Review: Stellar Recovery Inc., has chosen to purchase my personal information, opened an account using it without my consent and is reporting the debt as "Unpaid" to a Consumer Reporting Agency. I am not in partnership with nor have I ever signed any documentation legally binding Stellar Recovery Inc. and I in a contractual agreement. I believe this company bought my private and confidential information from an additional 3rd party Collection Agency, whom, sold this account after it was deemed unprofitable because of failure to substantiate their claim that the debt was mine. There may have been an exchange between the two parties, as I was informed of the account being deleted from their files, another Collection Agency resumed collection practices. I for[redacted]ed two letters requesting validation for this account via certified mail, for the months of February and March of 2014. The Postal records indicates both letters were received. Stellar Recovery Inc., has not responded to either inquiry. The organization exhibits willful noncompliance in regards to a consumer's right. They have not supplied documentation to confirm validity of the account. The law is the law and to excuse anything less is slanderous to the consumer's character and detrimental to their lifestyle. The derogatory mark has caused me to be denied credit, higher interest rates on existing loans and has lowered my credit score. Having being placed in a humiliating, frustrating and what appears to be a never ending situation has caused me to experience emotional distress and mental anguish while trying to resolve this issue. I have been forced to seek the assistance of the Revdex.com to intervene on my behalf. If this delicate matter is not dissolved in an expeditious manner, I will invoke my right to acquire a Consumer Law Attorney and will file a complaint with the [redacted], the [redacted] and any other entity that governs your industry. This is not my account, please, handle with high priority!Desired Settlement: The election of remedy, that I am seeking from Stellar Recovery Inc., is for the removal of the trade line from any and every Consumer Reporting Agency they notified the derogatory debt to. I am also requesting a letter stating there will be no re-entries from Stellar Recovery Inc., to either of the four credit bureaus INNOVIS, EXPERIAN, TRANSUNION or EQUIFAX and the date in which EQUIFAX was notified of deletion.,

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 01-23-2013, our office did receive a past due [redacted] file in the name of [redacted] for services at [redacted] in the amount of $243.72. Stellar Recovery did not purchase this file as perported by the consumer. It does appear that the file had been sent to previous Collection Agencies by the client. On 03-17-2014, our office did receive a letter from the Consumer and noted the file (We do not show any other correspondence received as claimed by the consumer). The letter demanded validation of the debt and indicated that the file was disputed. Our administrative staff, based on the dispute in this long letter, closed the file as disputed and the file was returned to [redacted] noted as disputed in writting. All Credit reporting were ordered deleted to the credit reporting agencies on 03-18-2014. We also show that letters were sent to the consumer including a closure letter after we had received the dispute correspondence on this file. The consumer claims this may still be reporting on her credit file, which our records show it has been ordered deleted since 03-17-2014. We have performed a manual AUD deletion request on this file, our confirmation number is [redacted] in case there was an error being made by the credit reporting agencies. The file was closed as disputed and returned to [redacted] when notified by the consumer on 03-17-2014, the credit reporting was ordered electronically deleted on 03-18-2014 and a closure letter was sent to the address on file on 03-18-2014. For purposes of validation, we did pull information from [redacted] on this file and will mail these documents to the consumer, these documents appear to validate this debt. The consumer, is welcome to contact [redacted] in the future after she reviews these documents.

Response:

Stellar Recovery has received "additional concerns" concerning a Revdex.com complaint filed by [redacted]. First, we must clarify that [redacted] is the Resolution Manager with the Revdex.com and was not the individual who answered the orignal complaint. The Complaint was investigated and the response was made by [redacted], who is the [redacted]r with Stellar Recovery. Again, Stellar electronically requested deletion on this file on 03-18-2014. When we received the original complaint, and Ms. [redacted] indicated that this was still reporting, we also filed an additonal manual request for deletion on 12-31-2014. We also sent validation documents we obtained on the file for the purpose of identification and clarity for the consumer and advised that since the file was closed, the consumer was welcome to contact the original creditor , [redacted], with any additional concerns after she reviewed the documents from the client. All actions in this case were performed in an effort to resolve issues with the consumer regarding this file. The file is closed in our office and our records indicate that this was done effective 03-17-2014, when we received, what we show as the only letter from the consumer disputing the charges.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our investigation shows that on 06-20-2013, we received information from a client that the phone number of ###-###-#### was a contact phone for a [redacted]. We do show that since that date, the phone was called a total of 11 times. Our records do not indicate that we were informed that this was a wrong number until one of our agents spoke with the consumer on 07-16-014. The phone number was removed from our system on that date and placed into our internal do not call list, no calls have been made to the number since that date. Stellar Recovery is not part of the National do not call list, we are not a telemarketer. We do apologize for the calls made to the wrong number.

Review: Stellar Recovery Inc. Modified my credit report by adding an address that I have never lived in the past, in order to justify assigning a debt about a service from [redacted]. I have never had service with [redacted] in the past. They have been harassing me with calls, with prompted me to contact the Attorney General's office in Texas to make a complaint. They recommended that I check my credit report and that's when I found out that this company had illegally obtained personal information and modified my credit that's now on collection. I believe that they should be put out of business, as it appears that they do this kind of things all the time. I would seek legal actions against this company because they are in violation of federal laws.Desired Settlement: I am seeking that they not be allowed to practice business in Texas and to open and investigation about their illegal practices in other parts of the country.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. We have also responded to this dispute through the [redacted]. On 04-04-2012, our office did receive a file in the name of [redacted], ss # associated was xxx-xx-[redacted] for [redacted] services at [redacted]. This information was reported to the Credit reporting Agencies. It appears that the first contact we had with this consumer was on 10-04-2013, according to the notes, he was upset that we placed this information on his credit, claims to never have had [redacted] service and never lived at the address. The agent advised management of the call, the file was reviewed and closed as disputed. AUD deletion was ordered on this file on 10-4-2013, control number is [redacted]. Stellar Recovery believes it did everything it could to resolve an issue, once we were informed. The file has been closed and returned to our client and the credit reporting has been ordered to be deleted.

Regards,

I reject Stellar Recovery Inc. explanation of the facts because it does not address how a person with a different name, with a different social security number, with a different address, and with a different birthday was added to my credit report. This is what was added to my report:

1. A new name by which I go by, [redacted] (this is false)

2. A new address I have lived on [redacted] (this is also false). This company has had to illegally obtained my last four digits of my social security number

4. Obtained my current mail address

5. Added a debt that did not belong to me and then sent it to collection. This has affected my credit score negatively

I do not agree that this was a simple mistake, I need a complete explanation of the facts. This same situation had happened to other people and their complaints are on your websites.

Thanks

Response:

Stellar Recovery has received additional information from [redacted] regarding the original Revdex.com complaint filed. Mr. [redacted] needs to understand that Stellar Recovery reported information that it received from [redacted] in regard to a collection file forwarded to our office, we did not fabricate or create any new or additional information. The name of the consumer, the current address, the service address, the social security number, the amount due and other dates were all provided by the client, not by us. Under the Fair Credit Reporting act, we are considered a data furnisher and we supply the credit reporting agencies with the information that has been provided by our clients. We reject any allegation that we 1. added a new name of [redacted], 2. that we gave a new address or that we illegally obtained his four digits of the social, that we obtained his current mail address or that we added a debt that we knew didnt belong to him, the information obtained was obtained from our client. Stellar Recovery has only attempted to be supportive of Mr. [redacted]'s concerns. If Mr. [redacted] has any addtional questions on this file, he is welcome to contact [redacted] directly as we have closed the file in our office.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9751103, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

I disagree with Stellar Recovery Inc. explanation of the fact because of the following:

1. I never had any service with [redacted] in the past so they do not have any personal information about me such as address and the last four digits of my social security number.

2. The name on the account in question, [redacted], is not my name nor I have lived in the address the account was serviced, [redacted]

3. I have a distinctive male name with distinctive middle name, the account in question belongs to a female with a female name, [redacted].

4. It appears that the person in question, [redacted] who owed the money, shares the same four last digits of the social security number with me, someone has had to do some investigation to determine that I shared at least the last four digits of my social security number with this person. Also Stellar Recovery Inc. obtained my current address in order to build a case for the credit report agencies in order to make changes to my credit report.

5. Once they obtained enough information about my person; then, they submitted this account to my credit report and added a new name by which they say I go by, [redacted] which is false, added a new address to my profile I had lived on, [redacted] which is false. This was done in order to justify adding this debt into my credit report which a clear violation of the Fair Credit Report Act (FCRA).

6. I do not share birthday, address, name, never had service with [redacted], social security number and Stellar Recovery Inc. was able to attach this debt into my credit report and then sent to collection. This has negatively affected my credit and added emotional distress for which I plan to pursuit legal action.

Because of all the facts I have submitted to your office I reject Stellar Recovery Inc. explanation of the facts that [redacted] submitted the information to them. It is impossible for [redacted] to have submitted this information when they have no record on the system about my identity, but Stellar Recovery Inc. has been harassing me with calls about a debt I have nothing to do with and illegally obtained personal information about my identity in order to justify adding it to my credit. I ask you that you evaluate my explanation of the facts and that a decision is made about the status of this company.

Review: In 2011, someone from Stellar Recovery contacted me to tell me that I owed them 290 for charges from a communications company from 2007. I told them this was not my debt. I live in the state of Texas and have researched a great deal to find that it is common for companies like this to try to threaten and harass people very near a SOL (statute of limitations on debt) ending. I have also learned that the SOL in Texas is 4 years (2007-2011?)

In 2011, Stellar immediately reported this debt to the credit reporting bureaus when I refused to pay this charge to them. This debt (which is now by their information over 8 years old) remains on my credit report. I reported this error to the credit bureaus, but since that was 4 years ago it was not removed. No payment or promise to pay was ever made to this Stellar Recovery company at any time. Not in 2007, not in 2011. It is my understanding that they cannot report to the credit bureaus any date except the original date owed (2007) unless I paid or arranged payments with them- which I refused to do, accept, etc. I further notice a very high number of complaints against this company with complaints exactly like mine. (questionable practices-trying to force people to pay debts they do not owe/debts that are over 1 year past being available on someone's credit reports.)Desired Settlement: The only out come I want/need/ that is legal is for Stellar Recovery to remove this erroneously reported item from my credit reports. The original debt (according to Stellar) became delinquent in 2007. No promise to pay or payment has ever been made to Stellar, therefore they cannot LEGALLY report a 2011 debt against me. A debt for anyone from 2007 is out of date. After 4 years of their errors, it is time to make this right all around by removing this entire mess from my reports.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that a Comcast file was placed in our office in the name of [redacted] for services at [redacted] on 04-07-2011. Comcast indicated that the charge off date for this account was on 01-11-2011. We show that we spoke with the consumer on 06-25-2012 and were told that "she had talked to Comcast numerous times and then hung up." Stellar Recovery has reported this file to the credit reporting agencies since 4-8-2011. Under the FCRA, collection accounts may be reported up to 7 years to the credit reporting agencies. The Statute of Limitations deals with the nature of legal remedies available before and after the statute expires, not the reporting of the debt. Our records show that on 05-16-2015, we received notification via [redacted] from the credit reporting agencies that this consumer filed a dispute notification to them. The file was closed as disputed on that date, credit reporting was ordered deleted and the file was closed and returned to Comcast as disputed.

Review: In checking my credit report as of Febuary 2015, Stellar Inc has reported to the credit bureaus a debt of $58.00. This was reported to the credit bureau Dec 18th, 2014. There has been no mail, no contact and no information as to the basis of the debt. I called the number listed on the credit report and was told by one of the employees, [redacted], that they AQUIRED this debt and posted it to the credit bureau on Dec 18. 2014. The account number per the credit report is [redacted], and the total due is 58.00$. [redacted] also stated that " we are a 3rd party, and are the collection agency for [redacted]". There has been no substantal evidence to this debt.Desired Settlement: This is not valid. I want this removed from all three credit bureaus. Stellar Recovery is in receipt of an inquiry made by [redacted]. Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Stellar Recovery is lying. I have no documents to show you because they have never contacted me. I believe the only reason they have my phone number is because I called on 01/17/2015 and left that phone number on their customer compliant line in which I informed them that I reported them to the Revdex.com.

Review: I have been receiving harrassing calls from this company for over two months, stating that I owe a Comcast bill that will hit my credit in January. The previous agency that had this account ALREADY put this on my credit almost a year ago, and I have explained on more than ONE occasion that I have disputed this charge and not to call my number any longer. They continue to call, and today on 12/26/2014 at 12:20 p.m. I received a call by a woman from Stellar stating the same thing from an "Automated dialer system" she used..and DID NOT provide me with the Mini Miranda that has to be said within 1 minute of having me on the phone. This is unethical. I could have been anyone who answered my phone, she asked about an OLD address to verify who I was and didn't ask ME to provide verification of who I was either.Desired Settlement: I want this charge to be REMOVED completely from collections and not placed on my credit.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 12-17-2014, our office did receive a Comcast file in the name of [redacted] for services at [redacted]. Our records indicate that our office did attempt to contact Ms. [redacted] at [redacted] on 12-22 and 12-23 without a connection. We do show that contact was made on 12-26-2014. We have reveiwed the call and agree that the full mini miranda was not supplied to the consumer. The agent did attempt to verify the debt with the consumer, the consumer did verify her name and last 4 of the social security number on the file. The consumer indicated that the account was already being reported to the credit reporting agencies, the agent indicated that we were not reporting the file at this time, which we have not reported it. The consumer said we "could continue to call but it wont get paid for a second time, this was paid in 2013 and terminated the call. The agent, based on the comments, properly closed the file as disputed and restricted the calls to the number of [redacted]. The file will be closed and returned to Comcast as disputed per the comments made to our agent by the consumer. The agent will have disciplinary steps taken for not giving the mini miranda verbatum.

Review: I had [redacted] for seven years while living in Michigan. I had no issues until I moved at the end of 2009. I lost my job and moved to South Carolina for employment. I had no issues with [redacted] while living in Michigan. I was sent boxes to put the equipment in and did that and put them on the porch for UPS to pick up. I didn't here anything by mail or by phone until spring of 2012. That is when I checked my credit report after being denied credit to buy a mattress and box springs. I challenged to get removed after it was stated that I owed 405 dollars for the equipment I assumed. It was removed soon there after. Now comes the end of May 2013 and I get a notice through my credit report that Stellar has notified [redacted] and the other two that I am delinquent again. This is the second go round. They not only did it once but for three straight days on my credit report. I had a 744 score and now it is 629. All of this without an explanation of where the equipment went or even an offer to settle. Which I wouldn't do as I followed their procedure to ship back the equipment. I want Stellar to remove this from my credit report. I am Hispanic and I believe they are targeting me because of my ethnicity. I am not buying it. Is it normal to have these things drag out for this period of time? I called three days in a row and no one returned my call. I finally found out what it was when I got my credit report. At the very least I think they should remove it from my credit report. As I had never received a bill.Desired Settlement: I want it removed from my credit report. I have heard of many others that Dish has tried to charge back for equipment they did or didn't receive.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 04-25-2013, Stellar Recovery did receive a [redacted] file in the name of [redacted] for past due services or equipment. We do not show that any contact has been made, we did receive an E Oscar notification from the Credit Reporting agencies regarding this file, this came from the consumer--"I packed the [redacted] Items for UPS to pick up, they were picked up, that is their procedure." , this notification was received on 06-21-2013 and we closed the file as disputed and returned it to [redacted] as a disputed account and provided them with the statement by the consumer. We ordered deletion of this information to all credit reporting agencies upon notification of the dispute. Mr. [redacted] does need to allow time for the credit reporting agencies to process this request. The file is closed and returned based on the consumers dispute of the file.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I would accept but what is to say they won't slap it right back on me. As I stated before they wouldn't even answer my phone calls or return my call. This has been going on for three years and I want it to end. It is bordering on harassment. How do I bring finality to this? I have contacted my nephew and stand ready to file a harassment complaint. I just want it to be over for good. I don't see that answer here.

Regards,

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of "request for validation" from [redacted]. On 03-03-2014, our office did receive a past due billing from [redacted] for Services for a [redacted] at [redacted]. Our records do not show any contact has been made or received except our collection letter being sent on 04-25 and 05-17-2014. We did request validation documents from [redacted] and will forward those documents to the address we have on file for review by [redacted]. The documents show this charge is for Boxes sent to consumer for the return of equipment from [redacted], in the contract with [redacted], the consumer agreed to pay a fee for the supply of Boxes for the return of [redacted] equipment plus taxes, the invoice is dated 4-26-2012. During the validation period, the collections will cease and the credit reporting will be ordered deleted, confirmation of the validation deletion is [redacted]. If [redacted] disputes these charges, she will need to contact our office at ###-###-#### or e mail of [redacted]

I was paying on a bill thru this company I was on my last payment and had to start all over at a higher amount because I missed one mth, although I caught up the next it did not matter.I do not know how they can do this inless they are ripping off people.

Review: I just wrote you a detailed complaint against Stellar Recovery, but it was somehow erased fom my computer a moment ago. Just ask that company to email me please, with details about this "$183.65", that they voicemailed me is my "balance needing to be paid" but about which I have tried unsuccessfully today to get more information. To my knowledge, I owe absolutely no one any such amount! (And what an inappropriate and unprofessional way to do business, if this can be regarded as "business" at all.) My email address is on page one of this form. Thank you.Desired Settlement: Get them off my back. And if this is a bogus issue they have with me, I should expect them to pay twice the amount they are demanding from me, just for hassling (rather than as[redacted] and informing) and wasting my otherwise precious time on this beautiful day off. Thank you!

We have put the file on hold and removed all numbers until we can verify additional information on the party. Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]

Dear Mr [redacted]:

Review: I received a solicitation from Stellar Recovery to "collect a debt" that I supposedly owed to Comcast, in the amount of $120.49. I do not have an outstanding debt with Comcast.Desired Settlement: Discontinuation of solicitation from Stellar Recovery for a false claim of outstanding debt to Comcast, and correction of credit report.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our investigation shows that a file was placed into office from Comcast on 10-19-2015 for a [redacted], (SS # ending [redacted]) for services at [redacted]. The phone number of [redacted] was supplied by Comcast as a contact phone number on the file. We do show that a demand letter was mailed to the address on file on 12-4-2015. We do not show any contact with the consumer has been made. Per the Revdex.com complaint, we have closed the file as "cease and desist" per the request to "stop solicitation" by Stellar Recovery and will return the file to our Client. Ms. [redacted] is welcome to contact Comcast directly regarding this file, the original Comcast account is listed as [redacted]. We have ordered deletion of the credit reporting.

Review: Stellar Recovery is reporting two collection accounts ([redacted] & [redacted]) on my credit reports. Neither of these accounts belong to me, and despite my letters, Stellar recovery has not replied to my written disputes or requests for records.

Furthermore, after reading on the Revdex.com page about the action that the State of Colorado entered in to against Stellar Recovery, it seems to me that they operate in a similar fashion in Montana. I have never been sent any notice, I haven't received any communication from Stellar Recovery, and they have placed false information about me on my credit reports.Desired Settlement: I would like Stellar Recovery to delete both of the accounts ([redacted] & [redacted]) that they have placed on all three of my credit reports.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our investigation does show that 2 files have been placed into our office. The first, [redacted], is under [redacted] from Comcast and is for services at [redacted] and was placed in our office on 03-12-2011. The second file is [redacted] and is for Services from Charter Communications for [redacted] at [redacted] and was placed in our office on 1-22-2015. We do show that letters were sent to the respective addresses given to us from our clients. We further show no contact has been made with the consumer directly. On 8-03-2015, we did receive information from the credit reporting agencies that both of these files were reported as disputed, it is our policy to close files reported as disputed from the credit reporting agencies and return them to the original client, which was completed on 8-3-2015. Credit reporting has been ordered deleted. Mr. [redacted] is welcome to deal directly with the original clients regarding these files in the future. The Original Comcast account was [redacted] and the Charter account was [redacted]. The files are now closed in our office and credit reporting has been ordered deleted.
