On 4/3/I spoke with a Daniel *** (a Student Aid Center rep) about setting my student loans up in an Income Contingent payment plan in order to reduce my monthly payments AND be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Plan I was informed it would take about 5months to set up my payments like this- I was NOT informed at this time that the installments of$199/month would not be going towards my student loans (in fact, they were payments made to the Student Aid Center)
On 7/24/I signed up with the Student Aid Center and was informed that I would have to pay them installments of $199, after which point my student loan payments would be reduced to a more manageable monthly amount ($132)
On 9/2/I received an email from the Student Aid Center informing me that my student loans had become past due and it was urgent that I contact them in order to bring me 'current

I've paid the Student Aid Center payments of $for loan consolidation and my loan was never consolidated
For student loans forgiveness the "Student Aid Center" told me all I have to do is pay payments of $and the loan will be consolidatedThey asked me to fax my social security disability letter to prove that I am permanently disabled and my bank information so they can take it directly out of my checking accountIn the month of June, July, August ,September, October and November of 2015, they withdrew $each month, for months, totaling $1,Then they told me once the 6st payment is made, they'll contact the other student loan company I owed and let them know my loan has been consolidated and that is itNext thing I know I'm still getting calls from the original loan company owed saying that the loan has not been paid and loan has not been consolidatedTherefore, I contacted the Student Aid Center to ask them what is going on.They told me I need to fax them mo

Dear Sir or Madam:
On November 4, I saw an advertisement on *** about the *** Student Loan Forgiveness Program and at first I was skeptical, however based on the commercials on TV I was interested on applying, because as a single mom of three I was having difficulties paying my student loan backTherefore, I called the number at (XXX) XXX-XXXX and I spoke to a MsJanet, ID# *** She assured me that it was a legit business and that she would work with me on my student loanShe had access to my student loan information after I provided her with my social security # and even emailed to my attention some documents to signI really believed it was a legitimate business and I was so happy for *** putting this program together to help those who are in need of assistance with their student loans, especially single mom/dad, like myself
I made payments of $starting 11/14/14, 12/14/14, 1/14/and the last one was on 2/14/During that time, I did have access

I received a call from your company sometime in August of as an offer to help me consolidate and pay off my school debtThis was a no risk, money back guarantee, if the school debts were not managed within 5months timeI was to fill out a form and sign and send it backWell, there was a lot of issues with thisFirst I had to call a few time to even get the form sent to me via emailAlso once I finally received it, there was another customer's information already in the fill-in-the blank spacesI called and emailed about this as this other person's info was compromisedThey said to disregard and would send another oneNow months into thisI tried calling the company as I received a letter from MOHELA stating that they denied the request of Student Aid Center to take over our loans as this type of company could not be trustedI imme

I signed up for the student aid forgiveness program(SAFP) for almost a year and still have only been billed maybe 4times, I have had to call each month I'm not and then get sent around, by people connecting me to "supervisors," then finally get someone who will process my payment of $a monthI have requested several times to be contacted via email and have tried to communicate via email countless times And every time I do, I receive nothing backI also have had several issues between the SAFP and my loan provider not communicatingMy Great Lakes is my provider and continue to assure me they have received NOTHING from SAFP, which has now got me in a large amount of student loan debt, when actually I was paid ahead before joiningThe numbers I was given when I signed up never seem to go through or do, give me a number to press to talk with someone
