Guarantee states 100% refund on cancellation - they refuse to provide it and refuse to return any calls or emails
This company is a Student Loan consolidation companyThey are at a cost of $199/mo for monthsI paid months worth for services that were never renderedI tried, continually, to call this company and email the representatives who had emailed me to discuss my consolidation efforts and I was never able to get throughSeveral numbers in their emails were disconnected when I calledMy wife and I are trying to purchase the condo we currently rent and we were very anxious to get this process rolling as fast as possible to allow these loans to reflect on my credit positivelyI called them 3x a week - never an answerI stopped receiving any emails from this company, and the emails I'd send often would be returned undeliverableI finally located their corporate number and told them I wanted to cancel my account because I did not feel they were providing any service by i

Very misleadingThey prey on ignorance of the Student Loan Consolidation processThey themselves do not consolidate your loansThey act as an unnecessary middleman between you and the consolidation loan providerMy consolidation loan provider informed me that many of Student Aid Center's practices are not even authorizedThey will open an account with a consolidator using your information, in which when you finally start interacting with the consolidator you'll find out that you have to remake the account because it's against protocol to have a third party setup your account and have access to your informationThey are predatory and most government consolidation programs do it for freeStudent Aid Center charged me $for their unnecessary services

I am always worried that programs such companies who suggest that they can help relieve payments It took me a few months to call I looked at other companies that did the same I heard about this company on a talk radio show At first I was worried it was a scam They wanted as lot of personal information and signatures I sent my first payment in of student aide fee I though that I was going to have to also pay my student loan too But I was able to get the information they, need in before my Next student loan payment They took care of my student loan payment by way of deferment I paid x months After months I got a not regarding my loan was forgiven each year, as long as I met the requirements This company also called me with updates regarding my payment and status twice a month After the first month, I felt better about my decision So surprise to me, I was not scammed Just be aware you may, have to pay them and your loans if you don't get your paper work in on to men

Once again, Ms. Higgins purchased her vehicle June 26, 2015 and Ms. Higgins didn't contact my dealership until August 23, 2015; 27 days and 3,800 plus miles after her purchase.
Ms. Higgins is clearly only interested in...

questioning my integrity, as well as the integrity of the automotive shop we recommended. However, doesn't believe her integrity should be questioned. There are multiple occasions that Ms. Higgins provides inconsistencies and false accusations in both of your contacts with the Revdex.com, "I do apologize for the delay of this letter. I have been trying to get the remainder of the problems I have been having with my car fixed before wrote this, but that has not been a possibility because of my involvement at Missouri State University" and then later states, "I did end up getting my car fixed on August 28 of 2015. have attached a copy of the receipt". I don't find it necessary to cover every one of Ms. Higgins' inconsistencies and false accusations in her first contact with the Revdex.com or the inconsistencies and false accusations she ADDED to her second contact.
Furthermore, Ms. Higgins was provided a copy of the pamphlet and signed service contract that detailed what her warranty will cover, including labor rate coverage, any deductible and or overages she is responsible for, and the cost of the warranty. She knew the exact cost of the warranty, coverage's provided by the warranty and her responsibilities outside of the warranty on the day she purchased the vehicle. She knows the warranty is not a factory warranty, the warranty is a supplemental policy provided by a nationwide third party, and that she would be responsible for any overages or items not covered by the warranty. Ms. Higgins is also aware that she was purchasing the car "AS IS". Ms. Higgins signed an "AS-IS" document.
Ms. Higgins and her mechanic should have referenced her warranty pamphlet and service contract and or contacted the warranty company. Ms. Higgins' mechanic clearly provided inaccurate information to her and Ms Higgins needs to contact "her" mechanic for her issues.
1. Window regulator - IS NOT covered by her warranty.
a. Window regulator MOTOR IS covered by her warranty.
2. Cooling reservoir-IS covered by her warranty. Her mechanic did NOT complete a claim.
3. Vent hose- IS covered by her warranty. Her mechanic did NOT complete a claim
4. Thermostat-IS covered by her warranty. Her mechanic (according to Ms. Higgins) still hasn't fixed this.
5. Rear brakes are a WEARABLE item, NOT covered by her warranty.
a. Autobahn Motorsport DID NOT inspect this vehicle; we are NOT a state licensed inspection station, nor do we claim to be. We DID have the car inspected at an authorized inspection station and the brakes DID pass state inspection.
b. Note: Ms. Higgins put 4,107 miles on this vehicle in 32 days; according to Ms. Higgins, up and down hills to and from Blue Eye. She will be replacing break frequently.
6. Blinker bulbs are a WEARABLE item, not covered by her warranty. The car is 12 years old, corrosion happens.
I contacted Cars Protection 10/16/2015 and spoke with [redacted]. He provided me with the following information/ notes from her warranty account:
1. Exclusive contacted Cars Protection 8/25/2015 and started a claim for:
a. Coolant Reservoir-covered
b. Left window regulator-not covered but if they would have replaced the motor of the regulator it would have been covered.
c. Vent hose-covered
2. Exclusive indicated there was a small value cover gasket leak that did NOT need to be fixed at this time.
3. Exclusive indicated there were NO OTHER issues with the car, including brakes or thermostat.
Cars Protection told Exclusive that Ms. Higgins must keep the car there in order for the services to be covered at that time. Ms. Higgins chose to leave with the car at the time of the claim. When Ms. Higgins brought the car back three days and 300 miles later, Exclusive should have resubmitted the claim and DID NOT. Ms. Higgins would only be responsible for the [redacted] deductible and the difference in Cars Protection shop rate allowance of up to [redacted] per hour. Ms. Higgins chose to us a shop that did not resubmit her claim and that charges [redacted] per hour. The shop we recommended to her honors the [redacted] per hour rate allowance.
I have provided you with the Buyers Guide, Cars Protection Plus-Value Plus Service Contract and Purchase Agreement; all signed by Ms. Higgins. Each document is clear, precise and ALL costs are straightforward. Also provided is the Claim Status from Cars Protection Plus, showing Ms. Higgins' mechanic started and did not complete a claim.
I will not engage in any further dialogue with Ms. Higgins. I stand by my integrity and the way I conduct business. I will not allow Ms. Higgins to continue slandering my business. I will proceed in a different direction if this continues; see Purchase Agreement.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 13, 2015/10/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am quite appalled at the way I have been treated by this company. Yet again, they have lied. I visited their business MULTIPLE times before the August 23rd date. I gave them numerous chances to simply either help me, or to just say that they could not and would not. Instead they lied to me, and I am not going to stand to be called a liar when I have done nothing wrong in this situation. I got my car fixed once, but only the major things because of time and money reasons. That was a day I could get a friend to give me a ride to school while my car was being fixed. After that date, he went to school elsewhere and I do not have another car available to be to get me to class in the hours I would need it. The other people who could help me work during the day when I would need it, and it has not been an option. There was no lie in there. I said I got those things fixed, but cannot get back there because of school. The company I took my car to to fix it called the warranty company themselves. I was there. I know what was said, so I know what they told my mechanic. If he did not file a claim, it is not my fault. The only thing that was covered was thirty dollars on the coolant tank, and they did not tell him that any other costs would be covered. I honestly do not blame him for not wanting to deal with the process for just that amount. However, he did not charge me that thirty dollars, and it came out of what he would have been paid. He did this to help me out, and I will not criticize someone for that. He did say that there was a leak in the valve cover, which the company told me they fixed when I bought the car, but clearly did not. If this company did not want to help me, as I know I signed the "As Is" paper, they should have told me. They should not have given me false hope the MULTIPLE times I drove up there in order for them to help. I would have much rather appreciated that rather than to have my character questioned. I did not go alone, and therefore it is not just my word against his. I have been there more than once and am simply tired of being called a liar, then what I can only assume to be a threat if I continue to speak, and rightfully stand up for myself when he stated "I will not engage in any further dialogue with Ms. Higgins. I stand by my integrity and the way I conduct business. I will not allow Ms. Higgins to continue slandering my business. I will proceed in a different direction if this continues." I have not lied, manipulated, or done anything wrong on my end. If he would like to continue to twist my words, then that is not my fault. If clarification is needed in anything, I am more than happy to clear it up and am not ashamed of anything I have done. Many people in this situation knows that what he has said is false in regards to me contacting him. I drove there, over an hour drive, myself. I was never rude to them, simply asked them if they would help. Again, if they did not want to, I would have appreciated it if they would have just said so. Every time I went there, they said they would help me in one way or another. They said they would make me an appointment with "their" mechanic so I could get in quickly, but never did so, so they must not have found it that important at the time for me to go to their own mechanic that they talk about. After having been treated like this many times after visiting them, I did not see it in my own best interest to go to a mechanic that does business so close with them, especially after finding out about the eighty dollar diagnosis cost that they told me would not be covered. I am simply astounded at the way I have been lied both to and about with this company.

Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 20, 2015/11/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The company clearly does not want to tell the truth. They simply repeated themselves and refuse to tell the truth, even though I brought people along with me to easily testify that I went to their business MULTIPLE times for the date he stated yet again. He accused me of lying with one thing, and I have already cleared that up. It was not a lie, and I explained why he thought so. This response was nearly a copy and paste of the last response, which was also a lie. I am tired of this company lying about me then saying my integrity should be questioned. I am saddened by how this company conducts business. I have done nothing wrong, and once again, I will clear anything else up that may have had confusion. However, they used the same single thing that they said I have lied about when I have already cleared it up, and their argument is invalid for it. Once again, the company opened the response with the lie that I only came to them once and not until almost two months later. I honestly do not know what else to say as I stand by my word and my integrity as there is nothing in question. I simply hope that this company does not treat any other customers like this, and they know what the actual truth is. The owner lied to me about my coolant tank on one of the trips I made up there that they say I did not. I came up there with a leak and asked what was wrong and he just said "you know you have to add coolant, then start it up, then add coolant again." Yes, I do know. I have grown up around cars. What I told them was I just added coolant two days prior and it needed more once again. Something was clearly wrong, but he just acted like I was stupid. Come to find out, the coolant tank was broken and it completely needed replaced. I do not know what else to say. I do not have anything to defend, and I stand by my comments.

I have no words, really. I had no idea this company was going to take out $199.00 for four months for THEMSELVES! I though this money was going to my loans during processing. Then one month both my loan and student aid took out money. I was in tears. The reason I applied to student aid was for help paying my student loans. When I realized this, it was impossible to get a hold of someone. What was the $800 dollars for? I barely had the funds in my account to pay for this. I hope this is a decent enough warning for anyone deciding to use them. Please, please look into an alternate method before deciding.

I'm still being hassled to my student loans from Great Lakes I can usually try to contact Student Aid Center to find out what's going on but the number costly rings and rings and then becomes busy I am NOT happy with the services and I'm not happy with these threatening phone calls from Great Lakes

This company S U C K S ! They have tried to get opver on me and they really have !! When I first started with this company , I was assigned to a lady name [redacted] I heard from [redacted] Maybe 3 ti,es and after that she no longer exsisted. I then had late payments due to illness and it kept me from working so since my payment delined 3 times they had temporarily placed my account on hold (they were Much nicer than any other debt paying comopany , and thats where we misinterpet them and think they wont hurt us at all). So then I called to pay for the past due month there was no late fee (which is actually awkward because after 14-15 business days of a past due balance you get a fee ,but not wiith the student AID center. Back on point I ended up speaking with someone name [redacted] and he was supposed to be my representive ,but I have never heard from him or anyone else in about 2 to 3 months note they were still gettinh 199 out of my check. I asked for a refund because the statement for the cash back clearly states that 100% cash back no questions asked , well [redacted] decided to be a little B[redacted] and give me a lecture on how I need them and I stated No I dont need yall , yall need me thats why Its so hard to cut my services . the deal I was told first starting off was I pay $199 a month and everything will be taken care of I only paid 3 months and they had sent me off without notifying me or calling to let me know hey my job was done and therefore since my job "was done" they could not give me my money back and then [redacted] turns around and say that she can only give me two months refund and I said thats fine just cancel my membership and ill be good ! Oh no [redacted] is so unprofessional trying to stall and act as if everything was ok no its not ok . They do not send out pay statemebnts they will not call you unless your payment didnt come through , This is not a regular bill where your out of luck and on your own , this is my life they messing with. All I was trying to do was get a loan out of default , so warning STAY AWAY FROM COMPANY !

So yes it costs you $800, and they volunteer very little other than, "I guarantee I can get it knocked down to 120 payments at $0/month". They don't tell you you're paying them to fill out an application that you can actually do yourself for free at studentloans.gov and get your loan consolidated, not removed, by the same people they say they found for you. Or that not one penny is going towards your balance on your loans. But hey honestly, I don't care, that $800 saved me time, it really did happen how they said it would, and my credit has improved 51 points in less than a year. My payments on my 49,000 in loans are in fact $0/month and interest has stopped going up. I'm hazy on how it ends after that time period ends, but I know my credit report and tax refund shows this company did what they said and got my loans forgiven. Are they way overcharging you for something ANYONE can do on their own? Absolutely, but I paid that money because I knew if they were telling the truth it was going to be an amazing thing for me..... and it was.

Great company, will work with you.

This was the largest scam I have ever seen. They took my money and I had to finish my loan consolidation. I had to make numerous phone calls in order to get all of my loans consolidated. This was the most frustrating company I have ever delt with. They were completely unethical by taking my money without letting me know I could complete all of this for free. What a SCAM!!! I hope no one ever gives this company money. I lost 1,600 dollars, because I used them for mine and my husbands consolidation. Then, my company who has my loans let me know I could have done all of this for free!!?? what a SCAM, you should be ashamed of taking money from others!! Completely unproffessional.

Please BEWARE! This company comes off extremely helpful and nice at first. I received a call from my representative and he sent me a follow up email after our conversation. A week later he called me re: my payments and let me know they will start pulling out of my account and then once the process was going Customer Services called me to fill out all this information which they kept losing so I can to keep sending to them with all my personal ss#, address, DOB and etc .... Once that was completed I've never heard from them again. I called 4 weeks ago just to follow up and make sure all is going well and received NO RESPONSE on the (855) via email NOTHING. The representative [redacted] disappeared and ALL the customer service ppl that took my personal information is NOW GONE! I'm so afraid and nervous. I've sent several emails asking for my REFUND with NO RESPONSE. This is NOT a legit company and it looks like I'm out of $800.00. I'm going to try to take them to court to get my money back. I'm a struggling mom with a 5month old baby I don't have money to waste. This company should be looked into and taking OFF the map. I'm hoping to get the court process going ASAP if I don't hear back from someone today.

I have to say that I was very skeptical at first when I started working with them. I thought it was a scam because after looking at their Revdex.com rating and reviews. They worked out for me to have loan forgiven in 10 years after making payments for set up and to nnegotiate with fed loan. They did what they said would do. I received confirmation from fed loan of new payment and received an email from the center after last payment.
Still skeptical but I don't think they are intentionally trying to scam just really depend on each loan

Here's the deal. They "assist" you in consolidating your loans to another company and charge a free for doing so. $299 for 4 months. You can do this yourself by getting the forms directly from the us goverment ams submitting yourself. Beware that if your loans have already been consolidated woth the loan servicing company you are worth you may not apply anyway. My story. ..

I called to get loans consolidated, and asked the rep of this is the correct number for the us goverment loan rehabilitation. He said yes, and we proceeded. The rep told me that in 3 months time my loans would be consolidated and will no longer be with the current company I was with. My student loans have been automatically withdrawn currently, and the rep stated I could stop payment on the loans because they would be going away anyway. Well I discussed this with my current provider and stopped payment. 2 months later I get a letter from fed loan services (the actual company I should have called in the first place) stating that my application was not acceptable due to the fact my federal loans have already been consolidated. So I call back the company that my loans were with and because I didn't make a payment for two months they went default and to collections!!! I never heard back from strident aid center nor got a letter. It was too late, now my credit is affected by this, and I have to go through a third party to dry up a new repayment plan!

It took me two days to get a call back from a representative who could assist me in getting my money back from student aid center, and the phone call lasted about 45 minutes of telling the rep I wanted my money back. I will say the person I worked with did a great job trying to save the "sale" I'll give them that. They do tell you that at any time they will refund your money if you are not satisfied. I have not received anything back yet but they did tell me I will.

At the end of the day, is what this company doing legal? Absolutely. Can you do it yourself for free? Yes. I would recommend doing research on your own loans first to be sure this will work if you decide to give somebody $1200 to assist you in filing forms...

my opinion, don't go through this company, sident aid center is simply put, a middle man taking your money.

Got a cold call from "[redacted]" from a non-Florida phone, alleging he is in Miami, who would not provide any information on any service or the company itself unless I allowed him to "set up a file" with full information including name, address, DOB AND SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER! Could they be any more obviously a fraudulent operation seeking to steal identities?

I have 4 children and 2 dogs, I'm a single father and I was up to my neck in bills, the government was garnishing my wages and it was killing me I could barely afford to keep the rooroof over our heads. I found this # online about student loan forgiveness and I gave it a call. I spoke to customer service rep that seemed genuinely concerned about my issues and hardship. They promised that they would consolidate my loans and stop the garnishment... I didn't believe it at first I thought it was a scam like most places but they got me a $10 monthly payment and stopped my garnishment. The rep even kept me posted on my status. I've recommended this company to a few coworkers at my job and they've all signed up.

I am very pleased with the program that they have presented to me and feel certain the outcome will be in my favor and will greatly reduce my student loan The people that contact me are kind and informative They have been keeping me posted on the status of my application I have recommended the program to friends and to my two boys and daughter-in-law who all have student loans I am grateful for their program Thank you

I would like to begin by saying that this company is faaarr from a scam. If it doesn't say "Student Aid Center" then DO NOT TRUST IT!

I first began with the Student Aid Center because one of my loans from freshman year back when I was in college fell into default with a debt collection agency, and I was unable to buy my house because of it. At not one point in time did the Department of Educationor my lender for that matter, ever contact me to inform me that I qualified for an income driven program that has been available to me since the year 2007. I was attempting to enroll myself into a forgiveness program since 2012, but my application was being continuously denied by my servicer, or because I "supposedly" failed to submit proper documentation on time, or they just never received it (which was completely false). It turned out I was being charged standard monthly payments of $505.13 without my knowing for loans I never even knew existed, meanwhile I was making payments of $217.00 to [redacted] (who have changed their name to [redacted] because they were failing to inform clients like me about the forgiveness terms) when I always had the opportunity to pay less. Student Aid Center not only protected me from an unfair garnishment of my wages I was at risk for with the debt collection agencies, but they also removed my loans from default and placed both the loans that the department of education claimed as "delinquent" as well as my loans from Navient under a brand new servicer on a fresh slate. They enrolled me into a $115.17 monthly repayment plan based on my household size and income as well as into a 25 year forgiveness term that will allow me to pay a portion of my student loans back and have the remaining forgiven after the 300 months vs having to pay back the entire principle amount plus ridiculous interest! Not only that but they helped me better my credit also by enrolling me into payments I could afford, and because these are federal loans it is immediately reported to the credit bureau and brought my credit to AMAZING standings! They also provided me with documentation to show my financer proving to that they were consolidating my loans and getting me into a better situation! If it was so easy to do this service for FREE and ON MY OWN why did my LENDER and the DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION KEEP ON DENYING ME? When I spoke to an incredibly sweet and knowledgeable supervisor named [redacted] she explained to me that every dollar I save is a dollar less that the private lenders and department of education are receiving on their end.Now I understand why there was so much controversy with the programs and why I kept on being rejected and sidetracked, because the lenders obviously want me to pay more!Student Aid Center relieved an immense burden I had been carrying and proved to look out for MY highest financial benefit. The representatives were all extremely courteous and professional constantly giving me status updates abut my process and payment reminders. I would like my testimonial to serve as proof of the fact that the Student Aid Center exists to ensure we be enrolled into the programs we have always had at our disposal! They are here to help us attain the highest savings possible with our student loansthey even offer a 100% money back guarantee for their service fee if they cannot assist you in saving moneyso its a win/win! I would gladly pay them all over again for helping me as much as they did! I am just so thrilled and happy to have had them help me that I had to share my wonderful experience with everyone! Not only am I out of default,I am consolidated with significantly lower monthly payments, and a proud owner of a new home thanks to them!Student Aid Center worked above and beyond for me and im willing to stake anything that they will do the same for you! I definitely recommend this company to everyone, and anyone who doesn't take my word for it obviously doesn't want to save thousands on their student loans!

This company did a lot for me. unlike the other reviews on here, I understand this was a service I signed up for due to my lender never letting me know about the progams I had to make sure I was placed in. I now have $0.00 and my loans that I have been paying on for 15 years and has not went down will be forgiven in 10 years thanks to the student aid center. the Revdex.com needs to do their home work before they discredit this company. I have told people about this company and the student aid has sent $50 for each person I helpped sign up its like my 2nd job now their the best!

This is a scam. Long story short, they try to convince you that consolidating your loans and choosing a payment option is a "long and tedious" process. They charge, as of September 2014, $299 a month for 4 months while they "work with your lenders" and "setup" everything for you. In reality, folks - and this is important, if you learn one thing today, learn this - it takes less than 30 minutes of your own time to do the same exact thing for free. Anyone who knows how to click a mouse and type with a keyboard can do it.

To make things worse, I happened to qualify for as many as 6 different repayment options. When I explained my situation to them, they only mentioned 1 of those 6 options, and it happened to be the absolute worst option for my situation. Coincidentally, it happened to be the shortest term option. So when you think about that for a moment, they already would have gotten my $1196, and the plan they said was "oh so great for me" would ensure that they serve as a middle man for the shortest amount of time possible (the least amount of work for them, they don't care that it might be the worst plan for you and your situation).

They also ask for a credit card right up front, which is frightening in and of itself. Lastly, when I went to cancel my account (I had showed interest therefore they started making an account for me), it was difficult to get a hold of anyone when it became clear to them I wanted to cancel. On top of that, they insulted me and assured that I would not be able to consolidate my loans on my own and suggested I'm not intelligent enough to do so. Never mind the fact that anyone, and I mean ANYONE, can do this in less than an 30 minutes.

This is a total scam!! You've been warned.

oh my god am I glad I came here and read these reviews, and that I watch american greed!! this is some kind of scam to get your info I believe because I too was offered the $199 a month for 6 months to completely settle my loans, I just had to give them my payment info to get the application? started. My dumb [redacted] had already given them my fafsa info & was quite suspicious when I asked the guy on the phone "so you're asking me to give you my payment info just to get an application??" The guy said oh I can email you our company info but we would have to do this today. I thought to my self, ha cold day in [redacted]. try again!! these guys are [redacted] scammers DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY, DO NOT BY ALL MEANS GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!. if this was an actual company, 1) I wouldn't be rushed to make a big decision like that 2) they wouldn't send a powerpoint looking "business packet" and 3) they would not harass you by calling ATLEAST 3 TIMES A DAY.
