Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [redacted] was affiliated with Student Loan Service, as he directly provided my business (a new account) to SLS (on a commission basis no doubt)All of the documentation subsequent to my conversation with him was provided by Student Loan ServicesYou contracted with him for the purposes of misrepresenting the products and services I would receive and are now denying any responsibility by stating he didn't work for us and we do not associate with himThis is why the Revdex.com exists, to keep companies such as SLS from taking advantage of individuals trying to straighten out their financesStudent Loan Services benefited from [redacted] 's inappropriate activity, leading me to believe I was "locking in" a low payment for years through the William Ford ActHad I been informed of the actual service I would receive, I would not have signed on, no one in their right mind wouldI could have gone straight through the dept of education and not paid $plus $a month in fees Regards, [redacted]

My student loan account has been temporarily closed twice now due to suspected hacker attemptsThis company continues to ask for all of my access code information via email which is not secureI have asked for weeks now to be put in touch with someone who could help meI get a short answer "someone will," every 3-days and no one ever does reach out I get extremely frequent emails whenever they need money from me, but when I'm actually concerned over the handling of my most personal information and have a potential hacker situation I can't get someone to contact me I wish this company were more interested in actually helping their customers get out of debt than just their bottom lineMaybe then they'd have an employee stick around longer than a week (I literally get a new account person every weekI emailed each account person out of the 1) that I've been in contact with over my year working with them so I could try and get this present issue resolvedEvery single email

I was told by this company that they would forgive my student loan debt. For $445 split up into 2 payments, they said they would take my debt from current $13,000 to $3,000 and I would pay them a service fee of $39 per month to do it.. It is not possible to forgive this amount, they do not have the power to do that but I was not aware of this. I made the 2 payments totaling $445 and then a fee of $39 came out of my account. They said this is their processing fee. Then said $10 of the fee would go toward my loans and the rest would be to them for their fee. I then talked to FedLoan, where my loan is now, and they let me know that I got scammed. That everything Student Loan Service did for me, could've been done for free. They also let me know that it is illegal for them to do that to me and they gave me the number to file a complaint on them.

I recieved a call from [redacted] representing Student Loan Services advising that I might qualify for Student Loan Forgiveness through the William Ford Act where I would have one monthly payment for years, afterwhich (if paid consistently ontime) my student loans would be forgiven He advised that he was not with the dept of education but instead a private company that would help me reduce my payments by doing all of the necessary legwork and paperwork When I asked how he would do this he said that we could include anyone who I may have supported financially in the past in my family size (leading me to believe that this was an acceptable practice) as he was representing a companyI was also promised a case manager who would be responsible for my account and communicating with my lendersI payed two payments of $for a total of $as their initial fee to "lock in" my monthly payment of $a month After a year of making payments (for my loan and fo

This is a case of buyer's remorseSLS gave Client the disclosures regarding the ability of Client to consolidate on his own at no cost using resources provided by the Department of Education, and the fact that the Document Processing Service Fee and Monthly Maintenance and Administration Fee are fees to SLS and do not go towards the balance of his loans in the Acknowledgment form, which the client views before the Client Agreement, then in the Client Agreement, on a form titled, Important Information for you to Consider, which the Client is required to read and initial next to each item, and then again in a live Welcome Call, where the same disclosures are repeated verballyThe Client then has five days to cancel for any reason for a full refundIt is explained in the Client Agreement that after the five-day cancellation period, Client will not qualify for a refund unless the consolidation application documents prepared by SLS are rejected by the Department of Education Client signed on with Student Loan Service on 9/4/at which time he signed the pre-Client Agreement Acknowledgment form, the Client Agreement, and completed the Welcome CallIn the pre-Client Agreement Acknowledgment form, it states: You can apply for loan consolidation, without paid assistance through the Department of Education (DOE), but you are choosing to use SLS services to assist you prepare and process the consolidation and repayment option application paperwork for programs offered by the DOE.The Document Processing Service Fee and Monthly Maintenance and Administration Fee are fees to SLS and do not go towards the balance of your loans The Acknowledgment form clearly states that "You can apply for loan consolidation without paid assistance" and that fees go to SLS "and do not go towards the balance of your loans." Client answers "Yes." Client did not indicate that he had any questions at this timeThe SLS rep then confirms with Client that he is consolidating an estimated $74,and that Client chose the Pay As You Earn repayment plan with an estimated monthly payment of zero dollars Client answers affirmatively, "Yes." The rep then goes over the fee and fee payment schedule and asks "You are aware that the Document Processing Fee and Monthly Maintenance and Administration Fee are fees to Student Loan Services charges, and do not go towards the balance of your loans, correct?" Client answers "Yes." Stay away from this companyThey will tell you that they can do all of the paperwork and you won't be botheredThey do nothing but drag out the consolidation of the loansDo it yourself on the Federal Loans site FOR NO CHARGEThis company charges $to do nothingThey also collect a fee upfront of around $My student loan has doubled in payment amount, which I cannot pay, and the reduced payment options are still more than what I was paying with my lenderAlso, the amount to pay back has increased due to interest accruing while they "submit my paperwork." In addition, the reduced payment options are not eligible for loan forgiveness anyway, which I why I went with this companyAs an educator, loan forgiveness after years is a wonderful, but apparently imaginary carrotHorrible companyWaste of your timeSTAY AWAY
