This agency promised to complete all aspects connected to application for student loan forgiveness The agency guaranteed the loan would be forgiven
The agency had the land consolidated with a different lender but completed the incorrect paper wot for the lan forgiveness program I had to complete it myself

I have been trying to reach Student Loan Services for days both via email and phone I recently received an email that they were changing the company in which the $fee/mothat I pay them comes out and I should put my credit card information in the link they have provided I wanted to be sure this was not a scam Every time I call the phone keeps ringing and no one answers and no one responds to my email I called *** *** today which is who they consolidated my loan with and they proceeded to tell me that this was probably a scam and a lot of these companies just take your credit card information and you never hear from them again All that is need is for an application to be filled out once a year with *** ***, there is no reason I should be paying a third party company $39/month I am unable to cancel charges with Student Loan Services through my bank unless I cancel the entire card which is a hassle for me I want to cancel both payment and working with Student Loan Serv

I canceled services on 6/for this companies services and am still being charged my fee when I already canceled their business

This company has turned out to be a complete fraud It turns out that for the past years almost that I have been a loyal customer with the company all they have done is take my money, and change my information with my Fed Student Loans to their own so that I cannot be contacted to resolve my student loan debtI received a notification that my credit score had changed, so I logged in online and see that Fed Student loans had reported that I was delinquent in my payments to them for 100+ days to be exactAt first I thought this must be a mistake, because through SLS my loans were consolidated and a portion of the fee I pay them goes towards my student loans (or so I was told)I called Fed Student Loans to explain that this must be some type of mistake and then they gave me some information in which the contact name, address, AND email address had all been changed over to a California address, the phone number listed on the account was a phone number to SLS, and the email address ha

3/25/at which time
she executed the Client Agreement which clearly states
that the fees do not go towards the payments of loansShe also completed a
third party voice verification call where she indicated that she understood
that the fees go to SLS and not towards her loansAll loan consolidation
application documents were sent on 5/15/with instructions to forward to the
Department of Education along with proof of incomeSLS then attempted to
contact Client several times to follow up on the application process via
telephone and email, but it appears that Client’s telephone line was
disconnected during this timeSLS sent Client new documents on 9/13/and
again attempted to follow up with Client on 9/22/14, 9/29/14, 10/3/14,
10/10/14, and 10/17/On 10/17/14, Client sent SLS an email requesting
cancellationBased on this request, SLS cancelled Client’s account on
10/17/Because Client did not forward the completed application documents to
the Department of Education, her loan consolidation was not processedAlthough
SLS has performed the services under the contract, SLS will issue a refund
since Client was not able to complete her consolidation

As stated earlier, Client had two loans that were ineligible
for consolidationClient had
one loan on an in-school deferment, and another loan in defaulted statusThe
loan on an in-school status cannot be included in a consolidation until the
status is lifted by the schoolThe loan in default cannot be added until the
Client sends back signed add-loan formsAdditionally, the defaulted loan
cannot be added if collections has moved forward with a judgment on the loan
Client can see the statuses on her loans through the National Student Loan
Database System which will show the statuses of all loansShe should see one
loan disbursed on 10/18/for $2,on an IA (loan originated) loan
status. This status should change once Client is no longer in school, but
it has not been changed by her school or the Department of EducationClient
has another loan disbursed 9/23/for $8,with shows a defaulted status
as of 11/3/
Despite numerous attempts to reach Client, Client did not return the
signed add-loan forms for the defaulted loanSLS cannot move forward to add
the loan without the signed documents
Client has contacted SLS on 2/25/and this issue has been resolved

I had become a customer of this company in 2014, electronically signed a 'contract' that outlined the significantly lower dollar amount that THEIR SERVICES would save me on my student loans if I were to hire them My student loans started at $27,and the company had apparently negotiated my loans down to about $13,all-together in which I would be PLACED IN A PROGRAM that BEST FIT MY SITUATION I had no idea how the student loan consolidation worked, so the company told me the INCOME-BASED payment option would be my best option for re-payment I made several phone calls from my sidate until my requested account cancellation for things I felt concerned about such as not being able to access any information online on my loans through them, the breakdown of numbers, WHY MY TAXES WERE TAKEN for my student loans in (start date 2014), and more
The business 'Contract' entailed that their services would benefit me through them consolidating all my student loans into one

I was called by Student Loan Service telling me about the bill President Obama passed to help students pay off their student loans Through them I would pay less each month and in ten years whatever was not paid off would be forgiven I initially paid them $May of and $each month June - July I recently got a call from Edusupport center telling me that I initially signed with them and that they were taking back their clients They told me that they would charge $a month I was going to switch because I had so many issues with Student Loan Service When it was time to resubmit the paperwork so that I would pay a reduce amount each month according to the amount of money I would make they did not file the paperwork They told me that I sent the information too soon even though I sent it in when it was due Then I had Student Loan Service telling me that Edusupport was a scam They were both going back and forth trying to convince me which was and wa

outlined in the Client Agreement and Welcome VideoThe Client Agreement states
that SLS provides Document Processing Services to individuals with student
loans who are seeking to consolidate their loans through programs offered by
the Department of Education (DOE) and that SLS does not does not make payments
on behalf of StudentClient signed the Electronic Payment Authorization Form
to send payments on 10/17/and 11/21/for the Document Processing
Service FeeClient’s consolidation documents were sent to Client on 10/24/
Client did not return income verification documents required for the
application to move forward Client was contacted on 10/29/14, 11/4/2014,
11/11/2014, 11/20/2014, 11/28/14, 12/17/2014, and 12/29/Client did not
respond to our numerous attempts to reach her to confirm that her application documents were sent and to get her income verification
documents, so her application could not move forwardClient called on 1/9/
with a complaint that her loans had not been consolidatedA Customer Service
Manager left a voice message for her on the same day, 1/9/Client’s proof
of income was again requested on 1/14/via email, and the CS Manager left
another voice message for Client on 1/6/Client did not respondClient
has been issued a refund

This complaint was forwarded to SLS on 5/26/SLS spoke with Client on 5/24/prior to receiving this complaint, and was able to address Client's concernsWe believe this issue has been resolved and we are moving forward with Client's federal loan repayment plan renewalWe take privacy and
security seriously at SLS and only use personal information where required to provide the consolidation and repayment plan application document preparation servicesWe ask that Client please contact us at *** if we can provide any further assistance on this issueThank you

My student loan account has been temporarily closed twice now due to suspected hacker attemptsThis company continues to ask for all of my access code information via email which is not secureI have asked for weeks now to be put in touch with someone who could help meI get a short answer "someone will," every 3-days and no one ever does reach out
I get extremely frequent emails whenever they need money from me, but when I'm actually concerned over the handling of my most personal information and have a potential hacker situation I can't get someone to contact me
I wish this company were more interested in actually helping their customers get out of debt than just their bottom lineMaybe then they'd have an employee stick around longer than a week (I literally get a new account person every weekI emailed each account person out of the 1) that I've been in contact with over my year working with them so I could try and get this present issue resolvedEvery single email

SLS requests removal of this complaint, as it is a buyer's
remorse complaintWe have had copycat complaints from clients who have spoken
with
FedLoansFedLoans is a private loan servicer and bill collector, that
does not benefit when clients consolidate their loans with low monthly payments
Client signed the Client Agreement on 5/20/which states that all services
can be done without paid assistance:

SLS completed Client's student loan consolidation application paperwork, and
Client was placed in the Pay As You Earn program, with a $loan payment
on 9/8/SLS also completed the renewal paperwork on 9/4/for the
yearUnfortunately, because SLS gave the disclosure that this is a
service that Client can do on his own at no cost, and successfully processed
the consolidation application, and renewal application, Client does not qualify
for a refundSLS has attempted to reach out to Client, but Client has not returned our calls
