having a/c problems I thought I would call christian brothers based on their website and like the fact that they were christianswhat I did not like is when the ac repair tech came out and gave me a 1800$ quote I opted for a second option and called a reputable company that fixed my problem with the same repairs and parts list for 850$mmmm, something not right here, buyer beware, get a second quoteplease , as for christian brothers , thou shall not use the lords name in vain

I called Christian Brothers about my water heaterWe've had problems with it (pilot kept shutting off, impossible to get re-lit) over the past 6+ monthsThe dispatcher was kind, they took note of the issues and not even half an hour later, I received a call back that a tech was on the wayI had a tech by the name of Jeff H [redacted] come byHe was very polite, he had literally put down a red rug on top of my front door mat! He put these shoe covers on his feet when I invited him inside (which I loved because I don't even allow myself, kids or husband to walk with shoes on in my house)! He was very thorough and gave me many options to choose from either fixing the problem or replacing itHe even let me call my husband over speaker phone to be in this decision making processWe chose to replace it knowing it was about 14+ years oldJeff took his time and completed the job beautifullyHe had me check his work and explained how the new up to date water heater worked, along with all the new safety updatesIt was the full package, new pipes, new shut off valves, drip pan, installation, haul away, he even put back the shelving we had to move out of the way! We got a complimentary WH flush & checkup in a year & we were added to their member "copper plan" so if we need any work within a year we'll get their member discountsPlus you can't top their year tank and year labor warrantyAlso Jeff was great in answering all my questions before, during and after! Again,Thank you for your hard work in this crazy heat!

Christian Brothers came out to inspect our A/C unit and determined the unit needed to be replaced. We paid a $69.95 service fee which was to be refunded if they did the work needed. After completing the work, I was presented with an invoice. The invoice noted "Waived" under the service fee. I asked why the $69.95 was not deducted from the total and was told the service fee was already refunded and a check in process. I paid the total as stated. A week later, I called about the refund and was told it was In Process. Another week went by and I called again and was told someone from accounting would call me. After another week went by with no check and no call, I called again and was given the same response. I filed a dispute and Christian Brothers responded by saying the fee was justified and the "Waived" on the final bill was for the second trip when they installed the unit. Christian Brothers customer service is extremely lacking and their accounting department is apparently

The following was shared with Joy Lof the staff of this company although the problems occurred on christmas eve day, we were able to book an appointment with christian Brosfor a plumbing problem The service man arrived later than he said, scared us with worst-case scenario prospectsThen he proceeded to fix the problemAfter doing one bathroom and inspecting the second, he left "to get a part"Nearly hours later he returned and finished He had given an estimate or over$but settled on $He wouldn't reduce it an furtherWe felt taken advantage of and expressed that to their business officeOn a e-mail, Joy stated it was $Why the difference and why haven't we heard back?

This is the second time I used Christian brothers and both times I have been extremely happy and beyondJoe took his time at my house and made me feel at ease

Christian Brothers is expensive! Last January I paid dearly for a leaky outdoor hose bib and the installation of a bathtub faucetIt might be acceptable if the hose bib did not have to be repaired five months later for the same reasonThe bathroom faucet (I paid $for it at Lowe's) installed by Christian Brothers was scratched on both top and bottom This week another representative from the company came out to check the damage and he, too, questioned how it could have happenedMeanwhile, he suggested another $8,of work to be doneAbsolutely no, thank you; your company is too expensive for the quality of work that's doneI'm not independently wealthy

On Sunday August 20, 2017, my A/C motor stopped running I contacted Christian Brothers A/C to make an appointment for someone to come to my home and let me know what the issues were with the A/C and hopefully get it working On August 21, 2017, the Tech came out and diagnosed the problem and advised me that I needed a new Compressor Fan Motor He gave me several options to resolve the problem (i.e., repair the A/C with original [redacted] parts, replace the entire system or repair with Non OEM partswhich are parts that are not [redacted] parts, but would work So, due to the high cost, I opted for the lesser amount and chose the latter option The repairs would cost me $which was subsequently reduced to $due to a coupon, diagnostic fees and Member Discount Fee? It even appears that I was charged for a Platinum Protection Plan at the cost of $396.00, that I did not agree to and would have never agreed to, due to problems that I have had with these type of plans in the

Christian Brothers A/C and Heating sent Tech Todd Smith to my home to inspect my heat pump for preventive maintenance After the inspection was completed, he brought to my attention what needed to be addressed He was very thorough in explaining their different programs and prices, while not making it feel like a pressured salesWe plan on having some work done in the near future and would recommend the Christian Brothers team

Glenn provided top notch customer service - offered many options and service plans (with out the salesy "push") and was finished working promptlyWill use Christian Brothers again for sure, and would recommend them to others!

This company charges $to walk through a house to give an estimate on replacing smoke detectors They do not examine the detectors or the system at all A quote could easily be done over the phone I was warned that there would be a service fee, but I was not aware that no service would be provided Paying someone to walk through my house to receive a high quote is a rip off I was able to call other companies and get a quote over the phone

Overall our experience with Christian Brothers has been positive The technicians have been very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable All of our service needs have been corrected I particularly like that they will call you a half hour prior to their arrival even though you are given a time frame for your appointment

In September, I had Christian Brosreplace a main sewer line in my business' parking lot for $21, As part of the repair, Christian Broswas to properly compact the soil after the repair to support new asphalt They use a contractor that the customer pays direct After weeks of not receiving the contractor's quote, I called Ace Asphalt (in business for years) to do the repair for $1, When I asked Christian Brothers to e-mail that the compaction was done correctly, they would only warranty it if their contractor did the repair I finally received his quote for $3,000.00, a difference of $1, The soil is either compacted correctly or not I should have quoted another contractor for the repair I feel their business practices are not ethical and will never use them again

We have been long-time customers of Christian Brothers and recently purchased a new home We had their electrician Barry Bridge Srcome to our new home and do a maintenance and safety check on the electrical system He also installed 10-year smoke alarms (yes, good for years with NO BATTERY CHANGES yearly!) Barry was very thorough and explained everything to us He installed new breakers and a whole-house surge protector as well as the smoke alarms We really appreciate his courteous manner and his attention to detail He will be our electrician! Christian Brothers has courteous office staff as well who are quick to respond when you need service, and the quick response and good work is why we signed a service contract with them for electrical work

Tony came out to assess a leaking toilet, and immediately located the problem
He was very efficient and professional! I have used Christian Brothers numerous times and am never disappointed! It is also extremely appreciated that they call at least minutes prior to their appointment arrival!

I contacted Christian Brothers on Monday morning regarding a plumbing issue By early afternoon, Joe arrived to fix my problem He was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable He fixed my problem quickly and explained to me exactly what he had done I will definitely use them in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone!

He showed up on time, diagnosed the no heat from heat pump problem, gave me the different options and prices of each fix, and answered any question I had and then fixed the problem with the option that fit my needs, at a very reasonable priceI would highly recommend this company and MrB*** for your heating and air conditioning needs
