Christian Brothers came out to inspect our A/C unit and determined the unit needed to be replaced We paid a $service fee which was to be refunded if they did the work needed After completing the work, I was presented with an invoice The invoice noted "Waived" under the service fee I asked why the $was not deducted from the total and was told the service fee was already refunded and a check in process I paid the total as stated A week later, I called about the refund and was told it was In Process Another week went by and I called again and was told someone from accounting would call me After another week went by with no check and no call, I called again and was given the same response I filed a dispute and Christian Brothers responded by saying the fee was justified and the "Waived" on the final bill was for the second trip when they installed the unit Christian Brothers customer service is extremely lacking and their accounting department is apparently

On Sunday August 20, 2017, my A/C motor stopped running I contacted Christian Brothers A/C to make an appointment for someone to come to my home and let me know what the issues were with the A/C and hopefully get it working On August 21, 2017, the Tech came out and diagnosed the problem and advised me that I needed a new Compressor Fan Motor He gave me several options to resolve the problem (i.e., repair the A/C with original *** parts, replace the entire system or repair with Non OEM partswhich are parts that are not *** parts, but would work So, due to the high cost, I opted for the lesser amount and chose the latter option The repairs would cost me $which was subsequently reduced to $due to a coupon, diagnostic fees and Member Discount Fee? It even appears that I was charged for a Platinum Protection Plan at the cost of $396.00, that I did not agree to and would have never agreed to, due to problems that I have had with these type of plans in the

A gentleman arrived with his young son, both in uniform (white shirts and badges etc.) it was $to walk over the front door step (OK a while ago now!)

This is the second time I used Christian brothers and both times I have been extremely happy and beyondJoe took his time at my house and made me feel at ease

My year old mother's kitchen light stopped working so she called Christian Brothers Upon their arrival they told her the fixture could cause a fire (scare tactic!!!) Christian Brothers bought very cheap ceiling mount lights (3) and a cheap ceiling fan They replaced existing fixtures and charged her triple ($(but they gave her a $discount!!!) what they should have to complete the job This was a simple job which should have taken under hours and the cost of materials under $retail
They have taken full advantage of my elderly mother I made a phone call to them and was told there is not anything I can do about it and Joy hung up on me In addition, I own the home - not my mother

Possibly Best customer service ever...might want to cut down on phone calls

This company charges $to walk through a house to give an estimate on replacing smoke detectors They do not examine the detectors or the system at all A quote could easily be done over the phone I was warned that there would be a service fee, but I was not aware that no service would be provided Paying someone to walk through my house to receive a high quote is a rip off
I was able to call other companies and get a quote over the phone

I have been using Christian Brothers for years and would recommend them They installed a complete new HVAC system in my house several years ago and while the installer, who wasn't with them long, did botch the job, Christian Brosfollowed through to make sure it got corrected Kudos to George, their QA Specialist for making sure this happenedI have a service contract with them and if I have an issue, they dispatch someone and there's no additional service call fee They have been honest with me on providing options for my plumbing and A/C systems and never pressure me or try to sell me something I don't need I'm relatively handy and there have been a number of times when their techs have advised me on how to make a repair myself and save hundreds I appreciate the honesty and quality service and also that I see the same techs as much as possible so they are familiar with my home Eric P has been out on the last or calls and provided excellent service
