orders. I checked our inventory and show Aimee 6pc Seating Set is out of stock so if she’d like I can set up a pickup order for the portion of the patio set and issue a refund. At this time sending replacement cushions isn’t an option. I requested the guest respond to this email if she’d like me to proceed with the pickup order and refund. I issued the guest a Target eGiftCard for her poor experience. As always, we appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guests. The desk has already been assembled so there's no need for a new one to be sent out so i'll just accept the $25 gift card
Thanks for contacting Target on behalf of our guest [redacted]. It sounds like there were several issues with the delivery of Ms. [redacted]’s order, and when she called to speak with our team members, she came away from the conversation feeling dissatisfied. It looks like this was Ms....
[redacted]’s first experience ordering with us online, and I’m sorry we’ve let her and her family down.I’m happy to say that our team members have issued a replacement for our guest and in light of her sensitive time-frame, upgraded shipping has been provided at no expense to her. In addition, I’ve issued a $5 GiftCard to her email address. I realize there’s no way to undo what’s already happened, but I’d love to invite Ms. [redacted] back to place a new order with us using this GiftCard. Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/12/10) */
Thanks for contacting Target on behalf of our guest [redacted].
I'm sorry to hear that our guest didn't receive the 10% Target GiftCards promotion. This event was only for one day on 11/28/2014 from 6am - Noon PST. I've reviewed her...
order an hour after the promotion had ended. As a result the discount wasn't applied to her order because it didn't qualify.
This particular promotion was extremely popular and many card designs sold out quickly. To ensure that our guests received their orders as quickly as possible our fulfillment team did substitute card images for similar ones if they were available.
Please keep in mind that the Target REDcard doesn't extend the 5% discount on Target GiftCard purchases which is why she didn't see that discount.
I understand that the GiftCards arrived late and weren't what she was expecting. Since it is a year past her order being submitted I'm unable to credit her original payment method due to system limitations. However, I've requested a Target GiftCard be sent to her email address for the difference she requested.
In their current form eGiftCards can only be used on Target.com unless saved to a Target.com account which will generate a 2D barcode that the stores can scan. I know I'm not able to change what she's already experienced, but I have confidence that if she uses the eGiftCard toward a new order she'll have a much better Target.com experience.
As always, I appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guests. If you have further questions, feel free to contact Target.com at (800) [redacted].
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/12/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I accept the reply except I have not received the gift card as mentioned in Target's response. Is there a processing delay?
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/12/21) */
I'm sorry to hear that our guest didn't receive the eGiftCard.
I confirmed there was a technical glitch which caused the eGiftCard to get stuck. I've reprocessed the eGiftCard and confirmed it went through. The guest should have received an email indicating that an eGiftCard is on the way.

Dear [redacted],
Thanks for contacting Target through the Revdex.com regarding your recent experience with the Mobile Kiosk at Sheridan Target store. I'm sorry for any frustration and inconvenience this has caused you.
After speaking with you, I contacted the team members at the Mobile Kiosk at the store. They explained that there is nothing we can do to assist you, as you signed the contract for the upgrade and the warranty. They explained that for the warranty, you have to read the screen, enter your credit card number and sign it. They advised that you did these things and were handed the contract paperwork. As was previously explained to you by the team members and the District Manager, we will not be able to offer you the resolution you're looking for.
Also, all items purchased with a carrier contract at a Target store, including contract cell phones, must be returned/exchanged within 14 days and may be subject to early termination fees per carrier contract. This information can be found on your receipt and agreement.
As I explained to you on the phone, I'm sending you a Target GiftCard as a one-time goodwill gesture for the phone that fell on the carpet. I understand that our apologies may not completely eliminate your frustration, but I hope you will continue shopping with us and that we provide you with the great service that you deserve in the future.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth

reference case number [redacted]. Sincerely, Nancy The Target Team www.target.com Hello [redacted], Thanks for contacting Target through the Revdex.com regarding your recent return experience. Target’s return policy on bicycles states guests can return or exchange a new and unused bike, or a defective bike, with a valid receipt dated within 90 days. Because this purchase is outside our return policy we are not able to assist with a return or an exchange. I’m sorry for any disappointment. For our full return policy check out www.target.com/returns. Thanks for letting us review your experience. Sincerely, Nancy The Target team www.target.com

Thanks for contacting Target on behalf of our guest [redacted]. I’m very sorry to hear that they didn’t receive the T-Mobile digital gift card within the expected time frame. That’s certainly disappointing and I appreciate the time they took to bring this to my attention. They guest is...
correct, on Target’s website it does state that digital gift cards usually arrive within four hours. Once an order is placed the order is immediately released for processing and fulfillment. Target has a partnership with a third party who fulfills any specialty gift card, like iTunes, T-Mobile, Disney, etc. and they do their best to ensure the cards are delivered within that time frame. I confirmed that their T-Mobile gift card was issued and delivered to their email address on 04/14/16 at 7:46pm. I’ll certainly share the guest’s comments and frustration regarding the missed delivery time frame to ensure that our partners are mindful of the delivery time. Unfortunately, Target won’t be issuing any sort of refund or store credit because, “eCards cannot be returned or redeemed for cash or credit except where required by law” and this information can be found on the item details page. I’ve attached a screenshot of this information for their reference and it also has directions on how to access the eCard if they didn’t receive the link. As always, I appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guests. If you have further questions, feel free to contact Target.com at ###-###-####.
Thanks for contacting Target on behalf of our guest [redacted]. I understand this has been a poor experience for Mrs. [redacted]. This is the first order she has placed with us and I’m so sorry we’ve let her down. For her experience, I’ve sent a $10 GiftCard to her email address as a...
gesture of goodwill. I’d love to invite her back for the kind of online experience she truly deserves as a Target guest. We apologize for any confusion with the cancellation request on this order due to the shipping delay. Cancellations can only be requested once an order is placed, never guaranteed. A request for cancellation was put in on 10/25/16 for the guest at the time of her call. On 11/11/16 it was confirmed the items could not ship out and the order cancelled. Mrs. [redacted] will have since received an email notification concerning this.As is stated on the Order Update document, which the guest has attached to this case, Target does not charge for items until they ship. What Mrs. [redacted] is seeing is an authorization hold, not a charge. We informed PayPal to release this authorization hold the same day the items cancelled, and it is up to PayPal to remove the hold from her account. I see that the current authorization hold PayPal has on Mrs. [redacted]’ account expires 12/06/16. Our guest may contact PayPal Customer Service at ###-###-#### or use the Contact Us option at www.paypal.com to find out if the hold can be removed sooner than the expiration date. As always, I appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guests. Hello Maureen, Thanks for contacting Target on behalf of our guest [redacted] Upon receipt of your contact, we reached our guest to address their concerns. Apologized for any misinformation provided to guest about Target’s price matching policy. Offered to discuss the full...
policy and experience over the phone. Because guest doesn’t have a personal phone at this time sent link to full price match policy by email. I appreciate the additional information that the guest provided. The breakdown of her invoice is as follows: $127.49 before any discounts and taxes -$12.75 10% off -$3.37 5% REDcard discount $119.17 after discounts and taxes Based on the invoice for the above order, the guest received the full 10% off for her order. However, there is a discrepancy with the 5% REDcard discount that was provided. The guest has already been refunded for the difference and she should’ve received the $3.00 back to her REDcard MasterCard by now. I’ve shared her experience on both orders with my technical team. They will look further into, and explain, why the 5% off wasn’t calculated correctly. While doing this, they’ll ensure that this wasn’t a known issue nor an ongoing issue. I appreciate the time that she took to share her concerns. Have a great weekend! JennaTarget.com Executive Officeswww.target.com
I am rejecting this response because: Target said the in-store advertising was to highlight a promotion in a printed advertising circular. However, the in-store display (picture attached) did not reference the circular not did it reference the terms found ONLY in the circular (minimum purchase of three items). The display simply said "free target gift card with purchase." Any shopper of any intelligence level would read the in-store display to mean that a purchase of the item (one item) would mean they get a target gift card. Target's response seems to indicate that it intends to continue the advertising practices - a practice not seen by its competitors in the area (Costco, BJs, grocery stores who all are clear on the terms) nor seen by its online competitors such as Amazon.
I am rejecting this response because: I have been reached by Target Corporation the other day explaining why they could not full fill their policy and wished me have a good shopping experience in the future. I appreciate their effort but I have to reject it. First, she told me target will not price match on clearance product. However, they cannot provide anything to support that, while all the proof of price I have saying nothing about on sale or clearance. When I asked about how did she get that information. She told me it’s from the manager’s word. So, I asked, you would rather believe the manager’s word rather than the customer’s proof in hand. She said, that’s right, it’s the company policy. So, it will be convenient for the store manager to refuse any customer’s price match request by saying it is on clearance, since he would not need to provide anything to support that, which means the manager’s word is above the company policy. My case is the manager even didn’t bother to tell me that it was an on clearance product. He just rudely asked me to leave, even when I offer to buy the product in full price. After I file the complaint, now he told the reason why they will not do the match. For a big company, Target didn’t behave like one. So, in a word, store manager has right to choose to do the price match. The policy is for show, they didn’t mean it. For the reason above, I choose to reject it.
I am rejecting this response because:The statement that I received a $30 gift card because of Target's error is not accurate. That gift card was not given to me, it was actually charged to my credit card at the time that I placed the order for the chairs in question. The gift card had absolutely NOTHING to do with the fact that Target had a "technical error" which did not allow them to process my return. I called many times and spoke to many representatives who were dishonest, not helpful, hung up on me and were completely rude and did NOTHING to help me solve this issue. The fact that I had to file a claim with the Revdex.com in order to get the money that is owed to me is ridiculous. I am not asking Target for a loan, I am asking them to compensate ME for the loan I supplied THEM starting on February 15th, when they received back the last of the 4 chairs that I purchased. Additionally, the third chair, returned on tracking number [redacted], received on 2/4/15 by Eric [redacted] has not yet seen my $20 shipping fee returned to me. This is why I am requesting $178.35, NOT $138.35. I will not consider this issue resolved until $178.35 is returned to my credit card and I receive an apology in writing for the way I have been treated by Target Corporation.
Hello,I believe there must be a misunderstanding. the cards purchased by this guest at Publix were not used on Target.com to purchase new GCs, They were redeemed in stores. Additionally, Target.com does not allow any of their GiftCards to be returned, let alone for cash. Again, we are sorry to hear that [redacted] fell victim to a scammer. We have sent this guest replacement GiftCards per our policy. We cannot issue a refund, as we did not collect the funds, the cards were bought by this guest at a Publix Super Market. Not at a Target. We consider this case resolved. This guest did not patronage Target for the purchase, they willingly (albeit under duress and false pretenses) bought and shared GiftCard numbers with a phone scammer. Target did not have a role in any of these events. Thanks,Cara GiftCard Operations
