So am I to believe that in the final two months of after nearly three years of delays and calls for patience that Tate Publishing was able to develop TV Ad campaigns for my book, get them scheduled and run the TV campaigns in less than two months, when they couldn't give me an update in nearly three years of waiting? In addition, Mr [redacted] thought so little of one of their authors to let me know of the campaigns starting when I had just asked about the status at the end of October 2014? Sorry, I don't believe that any TV Ad campaigns were ever planned, let alone that the TV campaigns ever occurred on any network let alone Dish on or before or sinceThe documentation and evidence is all to the contrary I am only aware of two events in the years working with Tate Publishing that did not involve additional costs to the author, two coffee shop eventsOne I did, no luck there, the other I was not available for the date that was offeredAll other events that I have been informed of by Tate personnel required an additional cost to me, like web-site services, web/blog targeting services, speakers bureau services, and I had to fight to get a Barnes & Noble event, which that single event makabout ten of the events that they list in the contact list over the years If you delete the duplicated event references and the events that I personally had to find and push, there is only a handful or less of events provided by Tate PublishingAfter that experience, I have just gone directly to small local independent shops and bring my own stock with meI am not aware of much in the way of identification of events by Tate publishing as noted above, when you eliminate the duplicate references to the same events So, to summarize, I do not feel that the Key Marketing retainer has yielded much of anything over the years, and the only campaign that Tate Publishing has provided is a campaign of deception with regards to the TV Ad campaignsI can provide the October 24, e-mail wherein Tate Publishing stated that no advertising campaign had occurred and none was schedule at that time either Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 12, 2015/06/02) */ Again, due to the fact that Dish Network stopped providing the reports, we discontinued using themAll ads aired, and we are disappointed as well that we did not receive more details on the aired ads However, we are glad to provide a new and more effective campaign to Mr [redacted] using mobile app advertising at no charge Our contract does not promise any level of events or sales, as we do not control bookstores or other venues and which authors or books they will host or shelve Many stores do wish to start with local consignment eventsBookstores are struggling in the market right now, and they account for only 25% of all books soldWe encourage authors to find their fit pursuing niche markets, where they can target their audience, control their inventory, and make significantly higher profits from direct sales than through bookstoresIn addition, authors do not build their name in bookstores but in these niche markets, which can help the author build a following and can lead to increased bookstore interestWe search for venues with high traffic such as coffee shops or libraries as well to find avenues for sales We cannot promise results or success - no publisher canWhat we can provide is a team to assist long-term with authors until they find where their books sell and sell bestWe can have Key Marketing reach out to more locations - bookstores and otherwise - anytime, and Mr [redacted] is more than welcome to provide a list for our team to contact We desire Mr [redacted] to have success, and again, since we did not receive the details from Dish Network on the ads aired, we are happy to provide another campaign to gain exposure for Mr [redacted] and his fine book If he would like to take advantage, Mr [redacted] may contact [redacted] his assigned Marketing Consultant, and we will initiate those processes for Mr [redacted]

We have indeed paid Ms*** for all books paid for to date, including books for book signings.We invoiced the Spotty Dog Books & Ale for the books ordered in AprilThat invoice was not paid in Q2, so royalties for Qdid not reflect those booksThat is not abnormal, once the invoice is paid

This shows a complete lack of professionalism and a complete disregard for your clientsThis isn't the behavior of a company I want representing my work.I've never denied signing the FAFAt the bottom right hand side of your form is a box which states, "Accept with no changes." I didn't check this box because there were changes that needed to happenThe changes I pointed out on the cover were madeI brought this up immediately and the communication about this stoppedAlso, I was supposed to receive a proof copy of the book for review in OctoberIt wasn't received until December, it wasn't complete (I have pictures to document) and that was after numerous complaints.*** *** ** *** went just fineHowever, I no longer want to do business with Tate on the books currently in process because they fail to provide the level of customer service promisedI paid $4,I want $2,back, and the covers to the books currently in process$2,Is more than enough for the small amount of work Tate has done.I have consulted legal counsel on this matterThey have looked over the contract, and all documents as well as the e-mails I have sent to TateIf Tate wishes to continue to push this, I will pursue legal action

We have been very responsive to Ms*** and have detailed to her how the process for terminating the contract works, and it is very simpleWe do not wish to be at odds with Ms***She simply needs to sign and return the termination paperwork provided without striking through clauses so that we may close out her file and remove her book from distributionUntil the legal paperwork is signed and returned, we are still technically under contract, and by the terms of that contract must keep the book listed for saleAs soon as the contract has been terminated, we will move forward to remove her book from all sales channels as requested

I have asked on numerous occasions for my royalty statements This continues to be the response and they send me
nothing I am also owed the money back for the speakers guild that they never provided in which I paid an extra for and I want that back It's been a year and NO one has followed up on that request I want the refund of that the service is no longer needed as I create all my events and speaking in absence of what they expressed they would do I have asked for this fee refund numerous times My original complaint was multi layered not with just one issue They can look up my royalty statements and see if have never cashed anything because a always send emails stating that I NEVER received anything and that it has been a pattorney since day one So they need to go I to thierase files because I have not received Any royalty from them or any of the other attached companies in regard to my book sales
