I am rejecting this response because:Tate Publishing stated: "The accounting department is putting together a detailed Book to Date ReportIn addition they will be verifying royalty check(s) from prior sales have been cashed The report findings will be emailed to the author directly." They have not done so.Each auction has multiple copies available for sale, ranging from 4-copies I have cited the seller usernames and the auction numbers for reference The seller on Amazon has an unknown number of copies for sale What more information is required for investigation? I contacted all eBay sellers questioning when, from where, and how many copies they purchased My messages have not been responded to as of yet

The company said it would promote my book with advertising in different periodicals as well as a mention of it in the New York Times! I have asked on numerous occasions for a report as to where the book was being advertised and the company will not produce any reportThe New York Times was one of the biggest selling points alo g with other network advertising
I interviewed at least five different publishing company's and it was the promise of all the advertising that sold me on TateAs far as the pricing on the first round of books I had absolutely no say in the $price! Please show papers as to what you are talking about? Tate promised me the book would be completed in time for Christmas the book was not available until October They changed project leaders times and had zero orginizationBy this point I had lost all trust in Tate PublishingThey continue to say that they are a family business setting that guarantees personl attention and that is simply not the casePlease explain all the delays the book went through as well as show me a report as to what network advertising they did and the file where I agreed to the $price? Doing business with Tate Publishing was so exhausting and difficult that they completely ruined the experience of publishing my first book
I am again waiting six weeks for them to send me a copy of our contract this is a perfect example of what it is like doing business with Tate PublishingThe contrat they said would get to me in ten to fourteen days still waitingThey also say that they only publishe a very limited amount of the manuscripts that are proposed to them this was another big reason that when they said they would do my book it felt specialI would love to see some kind of document to back this statement

Regarding books by Christmas, we indeed provided copies to Mr*** that were shipped on December 20, 2013, at his requestThis was a special rush that Mr*** receivedThese books were printed from files Mr*** provided to us so we could meet his printing request in 2013, and then we went through full production in Mr*** signed with us in August 2013, and did not provide the full manuscript to us until December of Books were then quickly created with a $retail, but that was not the final file, but simply a file created quickly to meet Mr***'s printing needsThe final book is $

1) Book signings - We have made contacts and have offered to make more as long as the author would like us to do so

3) The treatment received from employees - We explained that our employees are trained to treat authors professionally and with respectIf they are caught not doing so, they are disciplined to the point of termination, which has happened with at least one of the people she worked with
4) Emails she has received about buying books - All authors must build an audience, and it is helpful to have books to sell at events set up for this purposeThis is both the fastest way for authors to earn money from their book and the most effective way for authors to build an audienceWe did make it clear that no author is bound to do so, but our experience shows that authors who connect with their niche market are much more likely to see success for their book than authors who don't

I called *** and apologized to her that the order hasn't been receivedI have record of her paying $for books and my notes say she was supposed to get additional copies freeDue to the delay, I told her I would give her a total of books (that she paid for and free) for her
troubleShe told me that she has had problems with the Postal Service and with her email (her computer was hacked), and I let her know we had some email problems of our ownSo part of the problem was an inability to reach each other by emailI told her I would find out by tomorrow how quickly we can get these books to herI asked our print shop to notify me when the packages ship so I can call *** and alert her
I also told her I will find out why her book isn't appearing on our website or Amazon or othersImmediately after our call I found the book on our website and Amazon.com, and I emailed her the linksI've asked our team to check on BN.com and get the book back on their siteThis should be fixed in 7-days at the latest

We have answered the author's questions regarding his royalty payments and sent him statements to date. Please see attached staff notes number 3 and 4.   The book order that was place on January 27th, 2015 did have a slight delay due to author's change of address, however shipment was sent out on February 10, 2015. Tate's answer does not change there are no refunds and all sales are final.  The author will receive funds from the royalty check(s) if applicable once the research from the bank has been completed.  Please have the author submit a receipt or documentation of the promotional items and we will look into it.

Mr. [redacted] may order hardcover books, that option has always been in place. If something needs addressed at the distribution level, that is a simple fix and I see staff has discussed that with Mr. [redacted] by phone. For Mr. [redacted] to state that no one has spoken with him simply is not true.
Upon receiving this notification, we contacted Mr. [redacted] to rescind these untrue statements. He informed us he would, and we explained to him personally by phone that we are here to help him but are keeping the contract and have sent press, notified him of doing so, and answered his calls and emails.

I am sorry our response has not changed.
