[redacted] explained my account history with a different account from years ago which is in litigation. That has nothing to do with this situation or account as that matter is being handled by my attorneys.I understand that no refunds will be made, however, I find the business practices of TD Bank to be far out of line of those with any other. I am extremely disappointed in the way I have been treated and had money taken out of my account for the sole purpose of benefitting the bank's "wallet". I have also written several complaints with other consumer boards to let consumers know of this situation and horrible treatment.Revdex.com:

for a purchase mortgage. This application was approved for processing on November 17, 2015 with a list of initial items needed for review. Your assigned processor emailed you these requirements on November 23, 2015, however our research determined you were not notified verbally that gift funds would not be accepted for this type of purchase. TD Bank lending guidelines mandate that all investment property purchases will not be approved using any gift funds. Within the email processing requested that you provide evidence documenting that a total of $21,886.10 is available as funds needed for closing. It was not until January 4, 2016 during a phone call with your processor did you learn that the anticipated use of gift funds would not be acceptable.At TD Bank we take pride in our ongoing commitment to personalized customer service, and want to ensure that all of your future banking experiences with us is positive, accordingly, we would like to issue a credit of $600.00 for any inconvenience you occurred. Please contact me at your earliest convenience to discuss the receipt of your credit. I was contacted by a Regional manager, that informed me the information I originally received from customer service was inaccurate.  She stated she was going to look into the matter and contact me the next day, I have never heard from her again.

Since there seems to be an error issue with TD Bank, I need to know for future reference do I take a principal payment money order into a local TD Bank branch or can I still mail a money order that has "apply to principal" written on it to avoid TD Bank making unnecessary mistakes.  Yes, the error was corrected but they can certainly be avoided in the future when you follow directions.Thanks.
