In your complaint, you expressed a concern and requested that TD Bank stop contacting you.  Upon reviewing your account, the Skyland store last contacted you on August 23, 2014 to inform you, as a courtesy, that your account with TD Bank was overdrawn.  Since then I understand you attempted to close your account on November 17, 2014 via online transfer, which brought your account to a zero balance.  For the protection of our customers, TD Bank requires customers to visit a local store to ensure their account is closed properly or if that is not convenient we will accept a written request with your signature notarized.  As a result the account did not close and items were paid and fees were assessed.  The items paid are specific to the items you mentioned in the complaint filed to the Revdex.com.  Since your account is not officially closed, you will continue to receive monthly statements from TD Bank.
In closing, I would like to express the importance that TD Bank places on maintaining positive relationships with our customers.  Please feel free to contact me directly with questions or concerns at [redacted].  I am available Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, EST.

Mr. [redacted] account status has been updated from "180 days past due" to "charged off."  TD Bank has offered to settle the account with Mr. [redacted] but he has declined this offer.  The monetary compensation being requested will not be awarded.
