I ordered a 4 Sunday paper trial for 12 dollars and never received a paper. I was charged another 12 dollars. I contacted customer service; the representative was rude and said they would issue a refund. Over a week later, never received a refund. Contacted my bank for fraud. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with; DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

Canceled my subscription by phone, now my account has been sent to collections.
After my subscription price more than doubled, my carrier told me to call and cancel my subscription. I did this 2 - 3 months ago. I heard nothing further from them. Now I receive a notice from a collection agency and they say they have no record of my call. I asked to speak to someone in the United States, and this is not possible. How can I resolve this? I am a senior on a fixed income.

Desired Outcome

Since I called and canceled this subscription, I want this removed from collections.

Tady at 8 something in the moring someone else called me and even after I explained why I was frustrated she says....I understand your frustration but don't you want to try it for 1.00 a month. THIS IS BULLYING....I HAVE ASKED MULTIPLE TIMES TO NOT CALL ME YET THE HARRASSING CALLS CONTINUE. I AM FED UP WITH THIS NEWSPAPER THAT I DIDNT EVEN GET WHILE PAYING FOR THE SERVICE. I DIDNT COMPLAIN THEN I JUST DECIDED TO CANCEL BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I WOULD LIKE FOR THEM TO REMOVE MY NUMBER AND CEASE AND DESIST CALLS TO ME.

I have not received a newspaper in 14 days despite repeated calls to customer service. The Observer never provides an explanation. They should discontinue home delivery up front if that is their goal. I am paying a $1000 a year for a service that is not being delivered.

I would give a negative star review if I could. I haven't received a paper in over a year. When I signed up, I paid a little over $25 QUARTERLY. Between then and now, somehow my payments evolved into $58.40 A MONTH. I've been calling for over FOUR MONTHS demanding a refund and cancellation. Each time I call I am promised it's taken care of and I should see a refund credited to my account within so many business days and yet every month there is a payment drafted out and no refund ever shows up. Oh, and did I mention they called me for updated payment info last Fall when I got a new card number? I refused to give them the new card info and asked to have my subscription cancelled and THEY ARE STILL DRAFTING MY ACCOUNT FOR A PAPER I HAVEN'T RECEIVED IN OVER A YEAR!!!!!! We're talking $233+ just since November. I am absolutely DISGUSTED with this situation with The Charlotte Observer. I'll be visiting the closest local office tomorrow to express my frustrations and demand a significant refund.

After that they had a collection agency contact me after I was told my subscription was confirmed for 3 months only.

I stopped getting my paper delivered in the summer.. I called but still no paper. They continue to renew my paper service with no paper.
I stopped reciving my paper in the summer even though my account apparently was set to reactivate and I was being charged. I called many times including the time I found out I was sent to collections for not paying. I have called when I recived another bill and said these bills are not mine and I have not been receiving a paper. Even when I was getting my paper there were problems with my delivery. Now Im getting harassing phone called to renew my paper again and they call none stop. I never got my money back for not receiving my paper and still was sent to collections.
The phone calls from the charlotte observer won't stop and I tell them Im not even getting a paper! They tell me they can't do anything about my bill or me not getting my papers.

I want the sales phone calls to stop they are harassing me. I want someone from billing to call and fix my account and any charges still on my account. I want the charlotte observer to call the driver in my area and confirm Im not getting a paper and have not gotten one since the summer.

Requests to stop delivery of Encore have been ignored.
For over a year, I have requested to stop delivery of the free Encore newspaper through the online opt out option and by telephone. However, it is still delivered weekly. We have updated the database and alerted the distribution company to stop delivery of Carolina Foods to this address. Encore is no longer published (it has been replaced by Carolina Foods).

Rec'd collection letter from ARM SOLUTIONS having NOT rec'd a phone call NOR an invoice stating a balance. ARM/ Observer could supply invoice.
Called ARM and Observer. TCO customer service stated I could not be transferred to a Charlotte contact...could not transfer and had no local # for me to call. My account has been prepaid annual amount pass three years.

Desired Outcome

Want to make sure no claim will be on the three credit reporting agencies. Revdex.com reviews show many complaints about ARM letters. TCO needs to fix CS turning over errors to collection. Customer service needs better options to fix problems

Cannot get company to stop delivering the free Encore paper.
I want the Encore papers to stop being delivered to my address in *** On several occasions I've sent emails (using the link in their website) requesting the Encore papers to be stopped and they continue to be tossed in my driveway. They have become an eyesore in our neighborhood. They wind up on the sidewalks and in the street because people are tired of picking them up and tired of trying to make them stop.

Desired Outcome

Stop delivering to my address. I received a reply email from Averil, customer service representative, which stated my address would be removed from the next scheduled delivery. But that did not occur. I'm still receiving the paper.

I hesitate to accept the response for two reasons: 1) based on other homeowners' experiences, it took more than one complaint to get favorable results, and 2) the paper was delivered once again to me this morning (2/4/20). Although today's unwanted delivery was just one day after Revdex.com received the business' response, it was after I sent emails on two separate occasions directly to the business asking that they stop this unwanted delivery. I only have until 2/9/20 to accept the business' response, but I won't know until 2/11/20 if the business has heeded my request.
