I filed a complaint, [redacted], with the Revdex.com on 2/5/15. It was resolved with The College Network telling the Revdex.com that they would send a check for the owing amount in 10-14 days on 2/11/15. I have not yet received the check. Could you please look into this for me. Thank you!

The College Network, Inc. (“TCN”) is an educational services and eLearning company which provides study material and support to help its customers pass college equivalency examinations.  TCN has assisted many customers in obtaining their degrees at the Associate, Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
 
TCN has a 5-Day Cancellation Policy. [redacted] did not contact TCN within five business days to cancel her contract.
 
[redacted] signed her contract with TCN on January 30, 2014 for the purchase of Comprehensive Learning Modules related to the Associate of Science Degree in nursing offered by Excelsior College*.      
 
TCN would like to take this opportunity to remind [redacted] that her TCN program has a “Lifetime Guarantee”, including a testing guarantee**. In addition, TCN has developed the Academic Guidance Planner and TCN Resource Center.  Those features were designed to assist TCN customers in reaching their educational goals.  The Academic Guidance Planner offers resources to help TCN customers determine what type of learner they are and the best way for them to study, organize their studies, and have a point of reference for their degree program progression. The TCN Resource Center is a learning environment that allows TCN customers to access their Comprehensive Learning Module program in an online, interactive format. TCN also offers customers online practice testing and the ability to take examinations in the comfort of your home.
 
[redacted] program was designed so she can study when she is ready to study; the TCN staff is here to assist her in obtaining her degree Monday-Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).
 
TCN hopes that [redacted] will decide to allow us to help her obtain her dream of achieving an advanced degree. TCN’s mission is to make quality education as accessible and affordable as possible for working adults.

“The College Network, Inc. agrees to provide to all customers in good standing the following support for the Comprehensive Learning Modules purchased as long as I have taken at least one of the tests related to the Comprehensive Learning Modules purchased every twelve months from the purchase date forward: Free updated versions of the Comprehensive Learning Modules (shipping and handling may apply) for the duration of my testing program with The College Network, Inc. and assistance in obtaining information and identifying test site locations.
If I have not passed the CLEP, DANTES or Excelsior College* Exam for a particular TCN Comprehensive Learning Module after two attempts, TCN will pay the future cost of re-taking the exam in question, up to the maximum attempts allowed (if any) by CLEP, DANTES, or Excelsior College*. Additionally, TCN will provide me with specific study plans with one of its Academic Advisors and/or the use of an approved tutor in my local area. Approval and assignment of a special tutor is solely at the discretion of The College Network, Inc.”

To whomever this may concern,
Once again I have been lied to about my exam fee check. We are going on 10 weeks now and still no check. Every time I call, I get the same lie and same run around about “the accounting department being behind and your check is being processed.” This is complete and utter **!

I took out a loan and make monthly payments so The College Network can get paid by me like our agreed upon contract states. I am keeping my end of our deal. The College Network is not! When I first signed up it was told to me that the exam fee checks takes 4 weeks to process, then later I was told the exam fee checks take 6 weeks to process, then 2 weeks ago I was told the exam fee checks are taking 8 weeks to process and LOOK HERE!!! I called back today and it’s 10 weeks and I was told that my exam fee check is still being processed. When asked to speak to a supervisor I was told “she’ll have to call you back” Still waiting on that phone call. When I asked to speak to accounting department I was told they don’t work on the weekends…SHOCKING since they’re the department that has the issue. I would think they would probably need to work some weekends to get caught up. That’s just me, I’m a nurse and I’ve been trained to put others first and you don’t abandon your post while there is still work to do or a problem.

Although I am one individual, you’ve already got my money so you can screw me from now until I’m through with this program, and my needs are not important to you, let me tell you a little something…My whole life all I’ve wanted to be was a Nurse. I was a medic in the Army during Desert Storm and have worked hard to get my RN license. I am 3 classes away from that dream. Guess what College Network? I’ve been waiting 2 weeks for my check so I can take my next exam, I’ve been waiting on YOU! Whether it be your accounting department or whoever you want to blame, I cannot take my exam without the check THAT I HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR!

I will not stop with the communications with whoever I can find to email until I get some answers and more importantly my checks! I am emailing the Revdex.com, the Texas Board of Nursing, your Facebook page, etc. You have got to stop treating people like this and I know I am not the only person that has paid you, kept their end of the contract and are getting blind sided, used and ignored by your company.

If someone can please forward this email to [redacted], RN I would appreciate it. Hopefully as a nurse she will understand how important this is. You don’t treat people like this and it is never ending with you people. And I am stuck. I have to continue to pay my loan although College Network feels they don’t have to pay their part!

[redacted] signed her Purchase Agreement and all applicable documentation for her degree program on May 21, 2012.
 
However, as a good corporate citizen TCN is willing to grant [redacted] request for cancellation under the following conditions.
 
TCN requests that [redacted] execute TCN’s Release and Settlement Agreement.
 
TCN will pay off and close [redacted] loan in the approximate amount of $3,500.00 with [redacted], formerly known as[redacted].
 
Monies retained by TCN will be treated as an “Educational Credit” which can be utilized by [redacted] at any time in the future to complete her non Certificate TCN educational program using TCN materials.

I have currently being harrassed by the [redacted] which is the credit union that is affiliated with the College network, for payment for a contract that I was misled into believing was going to help me. I was never explained that I was responsible for the costs of this "program" whether I participated in it or not. The "program" isnt a program at all, and when I tried to get clarification the next day after signing this contract I was unable to reach anyone by phone or otherwise. They are now calling my emplyer and threatening to garnish my wages and are calling and talking about this my fellow employees who should/do know nothing.
