TCN had a 5-Day Cancellation Policy. [redacted] did not contact TCN within five business days to cancel his contract.     
 
[redacted] enrolled with TCN on August 02, 2013 for the purchase of Comprehensive Learning Modules related to the Associate of Science in Nursing degree program offered by Excelsior College*.    
 
TCN would like to take this opportunity to remind [redacted] that his TCN program has a “Lifetime Guarantee”, including a testing guarantee**. In addition, TCN has developed the Academic Guidance Planner and TCNResourceCenter.  Those features were designed to assist TCN customers in reaching their educational goals.  The Academic Guidance Planner offers resources to help TCN customers determine what type of learner they are and the best way for them to study, organize their studies, and have a point of reference for their degree program progression. The TCNResourceCenter is a learning environment that allows TCN customers to access their Comprehensive Learning Module program in an online, interactive format. TCN also offers customers online practice testing and the ability to take examinations in the comfort of your home.

TCN will pay off and close [redacted] loan in the approximate amount of $9,700.00 with [redacted] Credit Union.

The College Network has not been helpful in my success for my degree at all. I have been waiting for an exam fee check for four months and it still has not been released. The College Network keeps telling me that it is in process every time I call. When I signed up with The College Network they stated it would take two weeks to receive a check and as you can see I am on the fourth month. The College Network will not release any other checks until your grade is received from the last exam. So sending a result from the last test is a little hard to do if I'm waiting four months for the exam fee check. The modules they give you have absolutely nothing to do with the exams. Those modules need to be revamped As Soon As Possible. They are completely useless. The communication between the departments seems to be non existent. The College Network states they have no communication with the finance department that releases the checks, they communicate only by email with the finance department. So when you cal The College Network they route you to a counselor that tells you they have nothing to do with the checks and they will send an email to the finance department that you are requesting a check. Really College Network. This is unacceptable and not conducive for a learning. My last two conversations with the College Network I was asked to pay out of pocket and then I could be reimbursed by the exam fee check. If I had the money to do that I would not have went through the finance company that I pay every month on time. When I signed up my exam fee checks and my tuition were bundled. So I pay on time why can't I get my checks on time. If your so behind in the finance department my suggestion is work on the weekends to get caught up. Four months for a check is unacceptable.

I am not satisfied with this response, reasoning is, it has been almost 5 months since my initial contact with TCN and was given time frames as to when this check was going to be sent to me with none of the time frames met. In my complaint I stated dates, times, and the representative that I had talked to concerning this issue. 
Since I have used the A&P1 and A&P2 coarse content I am willing to pay for that but would like to be refunded the remaining amount for the other classes and test not taken or used.

I am satisfied with part of the terms that have been accepted in regards to TCN settling the loan of $4500.00 with [redacted] Financial and with TCN providing a Release and Settlement Agreement. Please know that I do not have any courses that I need to take for which I could utilize a TCN credit. Therefore I am asking for a 100% refund of money that I have paid to date of $1652.00 to TCN.

On 3/26/15, I spoke with Cali from The College Network's Academic Support. She initiated the request for a refund for the nursing classes that are no longer available. She informed me it will take about 10-12 weeks to receive my refund in the amount of $2490. Last month I filed a complaint, #[redacted], through the Revdex.com & an agreement with The College Network was that my refund check would be mailed in 10-15 business days which was from the letter dated on 8/17/15. I called today, 9/9/15, & spoke with April & no check has been mailed. This is ridiculous & I need my refund check mailed now.  Mail my refund check now!Regards,[redacted]

 In the process of financing, I financed the test costs. I requested the test fee  for Microbiology, the end of March of this year,and have yet to receive it per Tcn policy, which is 8 weeks . it is now three and a half months, and no money for test fee, without this I am unable to advance and continue with this program. I have called several times, with no success in receiving these monies. Thus, as I cannot progress due to TCN lack of payment for test, I wish to cancel this program.
