Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I asked for a 100% refund and they only offered me a 40% refund I asked for a copy of my contract and proof of the 60% work that they did and have not received anything from them My current loan provider (Great Lakes) told me when they called to discuss my loan payments that nothing has been started for any consolidation or different type of loan repayments, nothing was in processI am asking for the full amount of $ Thus far they have refunded me $324.80; therefore, I am awaiting the remaining amount of $ I look forward to a quick and peaceful resolution and thank you for your assistance in this Regards, [redacted]

[redacted] is a blessingHe carefully explained the ins and outs to the programI am very confident in my decision and plan on recommending others to this service

I recommend The Student Loan Project 100%! [redacted] called me and walked me thru the entire with respect and patience that I was on good handsAll of questions and concerns were answered, there was always someone there to walk thru all of the processesI cant thank everyone enough! Student loans are not explained properly in my opinion and granted I should have paid more attention but there isnt alot of education out there and I found that I was too easy to sign up for school but a lack of communication when it came to loan information and what happens later Thank You The Student Loan Project folks, you are amazing!

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Student Loan Project did refund only 60% which ended up being $dollars a few days agoThe reasons that I am still not satisfied are listed below:1) This business only reached out to me only after I made this complaint with the Revdex.com of San DiegoHad I not made a complaint, they would of continued to ignore my requests for a full refund when I became aware that they had not done what they promised me2) [redacted] spoke with me on the phone and listened to why I had made the complaint to the Revdex.comShe then insisted that it was my fault that I did not respond to an email that I never received When I told her I did not receive the email and that it was not in my spam, nor did anyone from her company try to contact me trying to follow up or obtain this information requested in this mystery email, she still insisted that I had to have received it and that her employees had done nothing wrong 3) She then said she would give me a refund I said greatShe asked if I would go to your website Revdex.com and issue a favorable resolution to my complaintI told her no that since [redacted] had told me one thing and then did another, and since she being the manager had just called me a liar that I did not trust her to keep her word and issue me the refundI told her when I received the refund I would issue a favorable resolution to the complaint 4) Then their processing center [redacted] contacts me stating that I am only getting a 60% refund back because I did not cancel within days of enrolling(glad I didn't trust ***'s word above when she said I was getting a full refund) Which this policy is ridiculous since it takes 30-days (what they told me originally but that AES would have paperwork within days to a week to start the process--since I was worried about it not reaching by the 15th of September as stated in the complaint) and 60-days to show up on my credit report How could I possibly have become dissatisfied within days when they told me it would take a week or more for something to happen5) [redacted] then responds back to my complaint of not getting the full refund since I felt like I deserved the full refund because they did not honor their wordShe states that Student Loan Project (who made me the promises and did not honor them) is an affiliate of Student Loan Assistance Center and it is their policy that I had only five days to respond I gave up trying to reason with this manager ***, because to me I should not have to adhere to their affiliate's refund policy because I did not do business with the affiliate so therefore the affiliate's refund policy should not even be a factor6) She also suggested that I still give them a favorable review because a non-favorable review would hurt themShe even suggested that I leave a favorable one with them and a comment on SLAC profile Regards, [redacted]

Customer service was excellent and I was put into a program that lowered my payment toward my student loan and offered me forgiveness after so many paymentsLove this company

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved Regards, [redacted]

Hi there, I know how it is human nature to submit a review about a negative experience with a business but I also think credit must be given where credit is dueMy positive experience with the Student Loan Project (SLP) earns my admiration and time to say a few thingsFirst of all before hearing about them I had called other student loan programs and they all seem to do a fairly good jobBut the people at SLP are just awesomeStarting with the enrollement advisor, Gail, who walked me through a very transparent proceedure to let me know my options etcThe other accounts managers are equally well-qualified in what they do and they constantly update you on any developmentsTheir process is fast, you'll always get a live person to talk to, their rates are incredibly reasonale and I had nothing but a positive experience with themI highly recommend them to anyone thinking about student loan repayment options

Although we were unable to find Mrs [redacted] in our client database, please be advised that the The Student Loan Project is a Marketing and Pre- Qualification company onlyOur Enrollment Advisors are trained and directed to be upfront and honest with all clients seeking assistance with their student loans, and by no means should any of them state or insinuate that we are affiliated with the DOE or the GovernmentWe have discussed this concern with this employee to make sure it doesn't happen again We apologize sincerely for any miscommunicationIf you have further questions please contact our management team at 858- [redacted] Thank you

[redacted] was knowledgable and efficient! She answered all my questions and made me feel at ease

While for the most part my experience was positive and they did help, SLAC also did damage and hindered my by telling me that my private student loan would be able to be combined and entered into the consolidation I had questioned different people that I had communication with and each response was the same Yes it would be in the consolidation, if they contact you just ignore them, etc Due to this misinformation they sent my private student loan to a collection agency and this has negatively impacted my credit score When confronted about it the company said we didn't say that or sorry it was an error but there is nothing we can do I still owe the money and am getting harassed by the collection agency However, the rest of my student loans have been consolidated and I am able to make the payments very easily

The name they looked me up under is incorrect, even though you provided my correct nameThey have contacted me again, so I am clearly in their data baseThey have my SS#Achieved under very shady circumstances The language is misleadingHere they say "Look forward to reviewing the government forgiveness options available to you", it's coming from an Enrollment Advisor, and the email is from @studentloanproject.us Despite repeated and clear messages to not contact me, and filing a grievance against them with the Revdex.com, and asking for them to use language that does not lead people to believe they are dealing with government programs directly, this is the follow up email I get: ***[email protected] 10:AM (hours ago) to me Hello ***,My name is [redacted] I am a Enrollment Advisor at The Student Loan Project We received your inquiry through our website not too long ago but we haven't been able to contact you. Please give us a call at (855) [redacted] The sooner you call the sooner we can get you relief from your student debt burden!Look forward to reviewing the government forgiveness options available to you.Best regards, [redacted] Enrollment AdvisorThe Student Loan Project(855) [redacted] [email protected]

Not very happy! Initially, they were very nice to reel you in Once the process started, it was extremely hard to get a hold of anyone I was supposedly assigned to an adviser I left her three messages and no call back I never received an email or call that my loan was complete Thankfully, I looked on line to see if I owe anything (its due in days), and my payment is triple the amount that I was quoted With all their stupid fees of $40.00, I would be paying close to the amount I was paying with my previous federal lender I think this was the worst experience I have ever had with any company I would not recommend this business to my worst enemy

We contacted SLAC to assist in my student loan debtWe were told that we had to pay an initial $registration fee to get the ball rolling, and that after that our payments to SLAC would be $per month for at least the first year, and then annually our income would be reviewed and could go up slightly depending on if our income changedThat being said, we did pay the initial $and after doing so, started paying this company $per monthWe did this for four months when I received a call from my (supposedly former) student loan company who told me that I was now in default on my student loan for four months now and it had already been sent to the credit reporting agency and I needed to pay it asapI told them we had acquired another company to pay this loan off and we were paying them, but she said they had nothing on file stating that there was anything in the process like thatI then called SLAC and after getting the run around for several days was finally informed that there “was a paperwork mix up and the person handling your account never actually sent the paperwork in to your other student loan agency”After multiple calls and heated emails they agreed to pay us back the $fees that we paid, along with the $we paid them for four months, for a total of $We have not received the full amount at this timeWe are still owed $of this money, and we also requested a letter on their company letterhead stating that this was their fault – that while I was paying them to have taken care of my student loan, they did not do so, which resulted in it being sent to the credit agency and hurting my creditI was told about weeks ago I would have all $in my bank account by the end of the week that week, and I would also have a copy both mailed and emailed to me about this being their fault so I can fix my creditThis never happenedWe are still owed $and now no one will return my repeated calls or emails about the money or the le We contacted SLAC to assist in my student loan debtWe were told that we had to pay an initial $registration fee to get the ball rolling, and that after that our payments to SLAC would be $per month for at least the first year, and then annually our income would be reviewed and could go up slightly depending on if our income changedThat being said, we did pay the initial $and after doing so, started paying this company $per monthWe did this for four months when I received a call from my (supposedly former) student loan company who told me that I was now in default on my student loan for four months now and it had already been sent to the credit reporting agency and I needed to pay it asapI told them we had acquired another company to pay this loan off and we were paying them, but she said they had nothing on file stating that there was anything in the process like thatI then called SLAC and after getting the run around for several days was finally informed that

I must say that Student Loan Project has helped me feel more confident about myself and the future of my financesThe person assigned to my case is always willing to help me out with a prompt and very patient manner whenever I have questions (and I have many)Understanding, patience and passion, I feel, are needed in order to build the sort of relationship that can built trustOn my account, I have had a very positive experience with Student Loan ProjectI would recommend SLP to anyone having trouble paying their student loans or who wants to find an alternative in how you pay for your current student loansDon't waist time and give them a call! It can't hurtThey are always willing to help you :) Good luck!
