[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I asked for a 100% refund and they only offered me a 40% refund.  I asked for a copy of my contract and proof of the 60% work that they did and have not received anything from them.  My current loan provider (Great Lakes) told me when they called to discuss my loan payments that nothing has been started for any consolidation or different type of loan repayments, nothing was in process.
I am asking for the full amount of $812.00.  Thus far they have refunded me $324.80; therefore, I am awaiting the remaining amount of $487.20.  
I look forward to a quick and peaceful resolution and thank you for your assistance in this.

While for the most part my experience was positive and they did help, SLAC also did damage and hindered my by telling me that my private student loan would be able to be combined and entered into the consolidation. I had questioned 3 different people that I had communication with and each response was the same. Yes it would be in the consolidation, if they contact you just ignore them, etc. Due to this misinformation they sent my private student loan to a collection agency and this has negatively impacted my credit score. When confronted about it the company said we didn't say that or sorry it was an error but there is nothing we can do. I still owe the money and am getting harassed by the collection agency. However, the rest of my student loans have been consolidated and I am able to make the payments very easily.

[redacted] was very helpful to me. He answered questions that I had. He also very personal and easy to talk to.

[redacted] responded to my email; however, in her response, she did not acknowledge neither of my requests which was to 1) provide written correspondence confirming my scheduled payments would be cancelled and, 2) provide written correspondence stating that my SS#, CC# and DL# would not be used by this company for any purpose. In [redacted]'s email response, she simply defended the company's "B+ rating", the status of competing companies, and the fact that nothing had been processed at that point.  Furthermore, I have not slandered SLP or [redacted] but, have written proof of the aforementioned complaint.

[redacted] was amazingly helpful. She was very knowledgeable about the Student Loan Project and was able to consolidate my loans very quickly. She walked me through all aspects of the consolidation process and answered all of my questions. Even though we worked together only via the phone lines, I felt as though she was holding my hand through the entire process - and I definitely needed hand holding!

Monday morning, 3/23/15 I decided to see if I could get relief with my "overwhelming" school loan debt. I Googled , "Obama Student Loan Forgiveness", and placed a call and was directed to The Student Loan Services.
Already STRESSED!!!, I didn't know what to expect but on the other end of the phone was a very nice, soft spoken yet engaging person named [redacted]. At first the reception was poor, so she called me back and reception was clear. I cannot say enough about how helpful and detail she was in assisting me with my problem. She walked me through the enrollment steps by explaining every paragraph as I came upon them in reading before signing. She didn't rush me but guided me effortlessly. She gained my trust. I hope that her Boss(s) know what a gem they have working for them. I picked up my phone stressed but hung up the phone after corresponding with [redacted], very happy and relieved.

We contacted SLAC to assist in my student loan debt. We were told that we had to pay an initial $540 registration fee to get the ball rolling, and that after that our payments to SLAC would be $39 per month for at least the first year, and then...

annually our income would be reviewed and could go up slightly depending on if our income changed. That being said, we did pay the initial $540 and after doing so, started paying this company $39 per month. We did this for four months when I received a call from my (supposedly former) student loan company who told me that I was now in default on my student loan for four months now and it had already been sent to the credit reporting agency and I needed to pay it asap. I told them we had acquired another company to pay this loan off and we were paying them, but she said they had nothing on file stating that there was anything in the process like that. I then called SLAC and after getting the run around for several days was finally informed that there “was a paperwork mix up and the person handling your account never actually sent the paperwork in to your other student loan agency”. After multiple calls and heated emails they agreed to pay us back the $540 fees that we paid, along with the $39 we paid them for four months, for a total of $662.00. We have not received the full amount at this time. We are still owed $150.00 of this money, and we also requested a letter on their company letterhead stating that this was their fault – that while I was paying them to have taken care of my student loan, they did not do so, which resulted in it being sent to the credit agency and hurting my credit. I was told about 6 weeks ago I would have all $662 in my bank account by the end of the week that week, and I would also have a copy both mailed and emailed to me about this being their fault so I can fix my credit. This never happened. We are still owed $150 and now no one will return my repeated calls or emails about the money or the le We contacted SLAC to assist in my student loan debt. [redacted] with slacing not only helped me to consolidate student loans and become part of the forgiveness program but lowered my payments by 403.00 a month but after 300 payments I will be forgiven for the rest-148,000.00. She has been a lifesaver and I can't thank her for her kindness, help, and understanding as well as the hour spent on the phone to get this completed.
