Mr. [redacted] was very knowledgeable and understanding of the process using The Student Loan Project. He answered all my questions and was thoughtful in asking me questions. I appreciate his time and his patience during this difficult financial time.

Client was refunded in full on 8/5/2015.

I decided randomly to look into Student Loan forgiveness plans and found the number to call The Student Loan Project. I figured a phone call couldn't hurt to see if I would qualify, and two hours later I was signing paperwork because all of my Federal Loans were forgiven through this company! (Almost $90,000!)
I had amazing help from the staff member, [redacted]., who I was contacted with, and am still getting great help from him through email when I have questions about my account. He is very quick and attentive to all of my questions and never once makes me feel unsure about what is happening with my account.
I'm so glad that I made the random decision to call this company, and I have been giving out not only the company information but also [redacted]'s email and phone number to my friends and family who are interested in seeing if they would qualify for student loan forgiveness as well.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my...

complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Student Loan Project did refund only 60% which ended up being $99 dollars a few days ago. The reasons that I am still not satisfied are listed below:1) This business only reached out to me only after I made this complaint with the Revdex.com of San Diego. Had I not made a complaint, they would of continued to ignore my requests for a full refund when I became aware that they had not done what they promised me. 2) [redacted] spoke with me on the phone and listened to why I had made the complaint to the Revdex.com. She then insisted that it was my fault that I did not respond to an email that I never received.  When I told her I did not receive the email and that it was not in my spam, nor did anyone from her company try to contact me trying to follow up or obtain this information requested in this mystery email, she still insisted that I had to have received it and that her employees had done nothing wrong. 
3) She then said she would give me a refund.  I said great. She asked if I would go to your website Revdex.com and issue a favorable resolution to my complaint. I told her no that since [redacted] had told me one thing and then did another, and since she being the manager had just called me a liar that I did not trust her to keep her word and issue me the refund. I told her when I received the refund I would issue a favorable resolution to the complaint.  
4) Then their processing center [redacted] contacts me stating that I am only getting a 60% refund back because I did not cancel within 5 days of enrolling. (glad I didn't trust [redacted]'s word above when she said I was getting a full refund) Which this policy is ridiculous since it takes 30-60 days (what they told me originally but that AES would have paperwork within days to a week to start the process--since I was worried about it not reaching by the 15th of September as stated in the complaint) and 60-90 days to show up on my credit report.  How could I possibly have become dissatisfied within 5 days when they told me it would take a week or more for something to happen.
5) [redacted] then responds back to my complaint of not getting the full refund since I felt like I deserved the full refund because they did not honor their word. She states that Student Loan Project (who made me the promises and did not honor them) is an affiliate of Student Loan Assistance Center  and it is their policy that I had only five days to respond.  I gave up trying to reason with this manager [redacted], because to me I should not have to adhere to their affiliate's refund policy because I did not do business with the affiliate so therefore the affiliate's refund policy should not even be a factor.
6) She also suggested that I still give them a favorable review because a non-favorable review would hurt them. She even suggested that I leave a favorable one with them and a comment on SLAC profile.

I found this website through a simple google search of "drowning under student debt" and decided to call the (855) 383-3778 listed. I was directly connected to [redacted] who did more than an amazing job. When it comes to student debt, the simple thought triggers stress, anxiety and confusion in most people (myself included). I called [redacted] explained my situation without having done any research. He was extremely helpful, he jumped right into it, gave me a background on the program, gathered some basic information to give me range amounts for the payments and such. He then went ahead and setup another appointment with me for later that week so I could have time to get the necessary paperwork. What I appreciated the most with working with [redacted] was the fact that he kept an upbeat attitude throughout the entire call which made me feel like we could achieve something, like this would get fixed. He was jovial but serious and never misled me or gave me misinformation. If you have ever called a loan agency's office you feel like they are out to get your lunch money and your lunch talking to [redacted] was nothing like that. It seemed like he had my complete interest in mind, he was patient, supportive and helpful. I would recommend that anyone interested in this program talks directly to him (but again I can only imagine that most people that work there are like him).
In terms of the program itself, truthfully God sent! The options are feasible, being a finance person this is the best decision I have made to get myself out of debt.

The name they looked me up under is incorrect, even though you provided my correct name.
They have contacted me again, so I am clearly in their data base. They have my SS#. Achieved under very shady circumstances. 
The language is misleading. Here they say "Look forward to reviewing the government forgiveness options available to you", it's coming from an Enrollment Advisor, and the email is from @studentloanproject.us
Despite repeated and clear messages to not contact me, and filing a grievance against them with the Revdex.com, and asking for them to use language that does not lead people to believe they are dealing with government programs directly, this is the follow up email I get:

[redacted] was amazing! She was very helpful and gave me all the information. I was going through Navient and they wouldn't give me any information on this loan. They just wanted my money. Cherishe was able to tell me where my loans were from and help me manage these loans betteer. Also, my payments came way down and now I feel so much better! I can't say enough about her and how she has made my life so much better.

I never write reviews about businesses, but in this case I was so impressed with this company I had too. I just wanted to say a big thank you to [redacted] and [redacted] for helping ease my mind when it came to having to pay back my student loans. They made the process so easy for me that literally in just a couple of phone calls, my student loan forgiveness plan was in place. I am so lucky to have found this company because with $140,000 in student loan debt, I was up to my eyeballs in debt that would never equal my current income (I am currently looking for a position in my field). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE allow this company to help you with your financial needs. You will not be disappointed. I had No HOPE when I called my student loan debt was crippling my Credit Score and depleting all my hopes for ever being able to qualify for a house loan. [redacted] was AMAZING!! she was able to take me from a hopeless emotional MESS and give me HOPE!! This program is WONDERFUL!! [redacted] was able to talk me off the ledge and provide me with a manageable payment for all my student loans!! I did not even know how many loans I had. Now I get to speak with 1 person who knows about all my loans and make only 1 Payment!!! Thank you Student Loan Project for saving me from wage garnishment and tax liens!! I would HIGHLY recomend this program to everyone. Thank you [redacted]!!
