Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/07/01) */
Due to a delay at our printing facility, this order will arrive a few days behind schedule. Customer's order is en route to them at this time. We have reached out via email and provided a USPS tracker for their order.

Initial Business Response /* (1001, 14, 2015/06/02) */
This order was confirmed as delivered by USPS on February 11th, 2015.
Here is a link to the USPS tracker: https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction.action?tRef=fullpage&tLc=1&... /> We have...

received no additional contact from this customer so we believe this order was delivered successfully.

We understand this user's frustration and we regret any inconveniences this experience has caused. We have recently begun offering new services through the [redacted] storefront and there were some unfortunate mistakes on our end during the early stages. Our goal is to provide a smooth and effortless...

[redacted] integration for our users, but we did not meet that expectation in this case.  We have been in contact with this user through phone and email to try and bring a positive resolution to the situation. This user has sold five shirts on our platform. We have refunded the cost of production for the sub-par order and waived the production fee for the order that was shipped out late.  These are the only two production issues we have been made aware of at this time, but we would be happy to look into other issues presented to us.

I will see if my item is shipped ! And why did it take so long for them to answer my email ? They answered when I contacted the Revdex.com ! Yet they charged my credit card and never sent the item or emailed the reason for delay in shipment ???

This customer's order was cancelled and fully refunded on 1/9/15.

This company has slow service and takes a month to produce orders that originally were said to take 2 weeks. Many people have had the same problem. I wish I knew this before ordering.

This company has the worst customer service of any company I have ever encountered. I would never purchase anything from them.

I ordered a Christmas sweatshirt from them on Dec. 1 with a projected delivery date of Dec. 10. The shirt had been advertised/promoted all over Facebook. When it still hadn't shipped by Dec. 12, I tried to cancel my order, but was told I'd just have to wait for it to ship out and arrive, and then I could return it.

It finally arrived 11 days after the expected delivery date -- too late to wear it to my Christmas party. When I tried to return it, they refused to refund my $40 because the return was outside the ridiculous 14-day return policy.

So now this company has both my money and my shirt, and refuses to send the shirt it back unless I pay them additional shipping costs.

Never once could I get a person on the phone to discuss this with me. They will only communicate through email.

This is a horrible company.

Orders are shipped 10-14 business days from the end of a movement, not from the purchase date. Due to the miscommunication and the extenuating circumstances with this order, We have issued a full refund to the customer.

There is no reason to do business with a company who lies. I ordered the item on the 19th of May purchase date an end of movement date. If you bought 3 of the shirts it ended the movement which I did and explained to them when I e-mailed them. So it should of shipped by 8th June if you want to give 14 business days. I told them I needed it by the 17th June for a trip which gave them an additional 6 business days to ship to me. There was no miscommunication and extenuating circumstances it was just bad business practices.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/06/29) */
Movements end at a predetermined date, not when they meet their sales goal. This movement did not end until 6/2, despite the customer purchasing on 5/19. From the end of a movement, we take 10-14 business days to print, package and ship orders. This puts the original delivery date at 6/22.
Due to a production delay at our facility, this order shipped later than we had originally anticipated. The order has been completed and shipped at this time and will arrive a little over a week late.
We have already fully refunded the customer for their purchase.

Hi [redacted]

Best,

This "company" is one of the worst I ever had to deal with if you actually ever want to receive your item. I purposely ordered my item early (before thanksgiving) in order to have it for the holiday season. I never received an email stating the item was to be shipped after giving more than ample time. After this and contacting the business about the status of my order hey said it would ship in a few days. A week later it never did and I had to contact the business again. Only now about a month later is it supposed to ship out. It should not be my responsibility to contact the business about this matter and I would not recommend shopping with them again.

This was a customs issue. I have attached an example of what these shipping labels looked like. I highlighted in red where the shipment was clearly marked at a total value of $50. Customs erroneously multiplied this by...

four because there were four items in the shipment. They did this for many of our shipments. This was not our mistake, but customs. All these shipping labels were marked at their correct value by us ($50).
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 17, 2015/06/02) */
After more than seven months of trying to contact Threadmeup and being completely ignored, they now finally provide a response; though only through a Revdex.com complaint, and only to disavow themselves of responsibility. No offer of resolution or even assistance in resolution. and far too late for me to attempt to recoup my money from any party, other than Threadmeup.
This is clearly nothing more than damage control. If it were actually about wanting to resolve the situation, they would have responded to one of the countless emails I sent to them (they don't provide a phone number to customers), or offer some suggestion of resolution or response other than "NOT OUR FAULT".
It is ironic that the "evidence" they provide to prove their lack of wrongdoing, actually shows it was in fact their carelessness and/or ineptitude that caused the erroneous customs charge.
Under Quantity, they put "4" and on the SAME LINE under "value" they put $50. In any accounting/business form, this clearly indicates "4 items @ $50 each". Stating they put "4" under quantity, because there were 4 completely different items in the box is a defence so lacking in business acumen, that it defies logic and indeed common sense. The way they've filled out the form clearly indicates to any reasonable person, that the "Total value" of $50 they highlight in red, was merely a calculation error and "4 @ $50ea" is correct.
Given that the company has offered absolutely no compromise or attempt at resolution, and that they have delayed response so long, that it is now impossible for me to even attempt to find a resolution elsewhere, I must reject this response from the company and consider this complaint still unresolved and my position unchanged.
Thank you.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 19, 2015/06/03) */
Unfortunately there was an issue with the declared value for BMS packages in certain countries. Although the original value was declared at $50, this number was changed due to a technical issue with our international carrier. We apologize for this error and miscommunication. Although were able to adjust the declared value back to $50 for these instances, those who paid the customs fees already received their items and cannot be reimbursed.
Because ThreadMeUp was a 3rd party distributer for the Blue Mountain State merchandise, we did not collect payment directly from the Kickstarter backers, and therefore cannot refund this charge. We can however provide you with $50 worth of additional merchandise from the campaign. Please reach out to [email protected] for more information about the items and sizes available.

They sent an email requesting that I send pictures of the shirt that highlights the problem with the screen printing. I just want to return the shirt and get my money back including shipping fees. I don't feel that I need to justify with pictures to them, I should be able to just return the shirt to them.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2015/04/13) */
We are happy to issue a refund if the customer returns the shirt to us. We ask for photos in order to assess the print quality of the shirt and determine the appropriate course of action in resolving the customer's issue.
If the customer simply wants to send the shirt back, we are happy to issue the refund upon our receipt of the shirt. We have given the customer instructions for returning their item.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/09) */
A production delay caused this order to ship later than expected. We have issued a full refund to the customer and will also be sending the shirt. We will provide tracking updates to the customer as they become available.

I have ordered a t shirt from Threadmeup in August 2016, it is now December 2016 and I still have not received the order. I have emailed the Company on numerous occasions, and all I get is an automated response, or no response at all ! The tracking system gives a date, but it changes everytime I log in to track the parcel, it always tells me my parcel is going to be delivered the day after I log in. I have asked repeatedly for a refund, but no response.
My experience with this Company means I would urge anyone NOT TO USE this company.

This order was completed and sent to the shipping address provided by the buyer.  Because we custom print each item for the purchaser, we do not reimburse for orders shipped to the address given.  Refunds are issued for cases of misprints, wrong sizes, wrong styles of garments, or...

shipping errors made by [redacted] or by ThreadMeUp.  In this instance, we have upheld our end of the transaction by printing and shipping the order to the address provided. We have replied to each message sent to us from the buyer within 24 hours and communicated our reasoning for not issuing a refund or reprint.

Great product!!! I Ordered 3 of the same t-shirt & the guys love them.. What's nice is they are unique t-shirts and not very few people in our area have one, so they make great conversation pieces.
If I see another t-shirt posted on FB I think my husband will like I will most definitely order it.

Initial Business Response /* (1001, 14, 2015/06/02) */
This was an issue between the agreed to cost between ThreadMeUp and BMS.
At one point, BMS released a one-sided statement pinning the entirety of the blame on ThreadMeUp, resulting in a massive amount of emails from angry Kickstarter...

backers.
The situation was resolved between ThreadMeUp and BMS with ThreadMeUp shipping out an agreed to amount of orders.
