Our first stop was a place to buy inexpensive umbrellas and from there, she didn't miss a beat despite the pouring rain. Guided by Ikue-san , I have travelled to Takachiho gorge and its surroundings, as well as to Kumamoto castle.Takachiho is said to be a power spot. And so is Ikue-san: an energetic woman who is even able to effortlessly move up/downwards the steep stairways of Kumamoto castle.Some of the deities of the region seem to have supernatural powers. I wonder if anyone of them is endowed with the ability to read minds, as Ikue-san did it when she anticipated many of my necessities. She's an attraction apart.
Fantastic place to visit! I Was picked in up Bucharest for a few hours drive up to Slanic Prohav. Then driven through the active drives into a massive public gallery some 200m high. Massive folded sequences line the walls, entirely salt. A geologists dream! haha. For non-geos is quite awesome too. You feel as if you've stumbled into a Lord of the Rings film. You can wander through at your leisure, have a sleep, take coffee and even play billiards, as Deep Purple and Elton John echo through the halls.
Very knowledgable, careful, and thorough guide. Knew a lot about the food and wines of Armenia and Georgia. Also knew a lot about the history of both countries would certainly recommend him to anyone else.
My husband and I absolutely loved Gaby. She was knowledgable and informative but never boring! Our guide in the Alhambra was also very informative and worked well with Gaby to provide a wonderful experience for us. Our tapas tour later that day with Gaby was fun and delicious, and she gave us options for the rest of our trip as well. Altogether it was terrific day and a great trip!

Francis was simply wonderful! Traveling to Iguassu Falls was a bit intimidating so we decided to hire a guide. Francis picked us up at the airport in a beautiful van that could probably hold 10 people or more. It was raining so he suggested we take a drive to Paraguay which was interesting. The next morning Francis met us at our hotel, The Belmont, and we toured the Brazilian side of the falls He then arranged a helicopter tour over the falls for us. We asked to eat at a churrascuria for lunch and he took us to a marvelous one that was very authentic and seemed to be popular to the local people. It was again a wonderful experience. We then toured the bird sanctuary and Francis was knowledgeable and informative. Our last day we were met by Francis and taken to the Argentinian side of the falls which we explored in total. He then transferred us back to the airport. I would highly recommend Francis. He is professional and tailors your trip to meet your every wish.

Although we only had a few hours to fit in as many sights as possible, our guide did a great job in showing us all the points of interest plus a few special, less well know places which we would not have known about without her expert local knowledge. She even found a street which allowed us to get our picture with the Hollywood sign in the background.

We were so fortunate to have Ken as our guide! He was full of knowledge about the culture and local history. He kept our teen kids engaged and accommodated us as needed and was still efficient. Within a half day we saw Tofuku-ji Temple, Fushimi-Inari Shrine, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and the Higashiyama District and still had time for a nice dinner! A great way to start our stay in Kyoto. We arranged for a tour to the Peninsula Valdes out of Puerto Madryn. Though the drive was longer than expected, the views of penguins, sea elephants and sea lions were terrific. Our guide, Veronica [redacted], was very knowledgeable and helpful. Our driver, Leo, was also terrific. He was able to spot birds and animals as we were driving and backed up so we could get pictures. He also let us try his mate tea. We were very pleased with our choice.

We were so glad we chose Tomas for our full day private tour. Tomas spoke very good English and was so informative and knowledgeable. He picked us up right on time, even early so we had a full day since we were going from Florence to the Tuscan countryside. He showed us several beautiful town and stopped at a winery overlooking the valley where we tasted the awesome Brunello wines.
