 The local store called me and did supply the item at the cost listed in the add so at this point I am satisfied.

Please be advised we mailed out a physical gift card to the recipient on 5/16 via [redacted] which shows delivery on 5/18/16. We will consider this matter resolved.

This is NOT a web based transaction. I made the purchase in the store and as you can see by the original photo there is no disclaimer anywhere in the store to say we only match the following. The Store says " PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE" It does not say we only match XY and Z. This is a classic bait and switch and the AJ office in NJ has said I should contact Passaic County for consumer fraud. The stores do not say what the price match is. It does not say newspaper, internet, or sales are excluded. It just says price match which I provided. Consumer fraud in the stores where I purchased this. NOT an internet sale on your web site. Your Web site may have a disclaimer but your stores do not have anything posted. This is clearly consumer fraud

I was scanning through the complaints today and decided to look back at the time I had my own issue with Toys R Us. I had an issue with their Black Friday sale 2014. I had placed orders for items and 1-2 weeks later my items were cancelled due to being out of stock, and they refused to honor the sales price, although if they had told me at check out that the items were out of stock I could have received sale price in store instead. After about 5-6 phone calls Toys R us resolved my issue, but I had to push and keep calling and complaining via every platform available. I have not shopped with Toys R Us since. I just thought I would share my experience via the comments, since every single complaint during that time period has "Details for this complaint are not available". I believe Toys R Us is blocking these complaints and their resolutions from being publicized. During that time their social media was also flooded with customer complaints and instead of being addressed they were deleted, and when calling customer service for the first 1-2 weeks as soon as they heard the terms "black friday" they shut down the call and said they couldn't help you. I believe bad business practices like this should be known and not hidden, and shame on them for hiding such practices even on the Revdex.com website. I think that any and all consumers should be aware of these issues and practices while preparing for holiday shopping this year.

No case is not closed. They may want it closed and not deal with it, the check was for the damage to the walls not the furnature. I sent a complete letter the last response. Read it. Case not closed. I consider this case not closed.....

Please be advised the consumer mentioned his debit card was compromised and states there were fraudulent transactions. I am rejecting this response because: I understand their terms however, that is not what their website displayed.  Their terms for the coupon and what the website displayed are two different things.  They advertised a price on their website promoting the 15% off on the item I wanted to buy under the product, and I used the code and showed the discount and that the code was accepted in my cart, along with free shipping to the store I selected.  When I wen to checkout their website crashed.  Then when I called to explain what happened they said the would not honor the price that was displayed in my checkout and said were having internal website issues, and then also said the store I wanted to ship it to for free pickup no longer had the item in stock and that additionally I would have to pay a $50 surcharge for shipping.  I understand the terms for the coupon but again, what the website displayed and the terms of the coupon were not consistent, therefore falsely advertising the product.  It is not my fault that their website displayed incorrect information but the price on the website should be honored.  I was willing to compromise and pay the surcharge of shipping if they would honor the 15% off coupon but they would not budge either way, and that is why I'm filing this complaint.
