Again, we would like to thank Mr*** for taking the time to express his concern, regarding his non-refundable holding deposit and Tricon American Homes’ pet fee and pet rent(Reference Revdex.com Complaint ID #***).Due to the discrepancy of information understood between Mr*** and Tricon American Homes, and in the interest of good customer service, we have processed a refund for the $holding fee to Mr***. Our Executive Vice President of Operations has been in touch with Mr*** personally to apologize for the miscommunication and to thank him for taking the time to share about his experience.Again, we thank Mr*** for taking the time to bring this to our attention, we are in the process of changing our application process to clearly communicate our refund policy before payment is made

Appointment was set for pmI took off work early in order to make the appointment3:rolls around and nothingI call the call center and they proceed to tell me that the person who was supposed to come got sickAs I was on the phone with the call center the "maintenance coordinator" called me, it is now 400, to tell me this detailUpon asking the call center rep when this was known she stated since this morningNo one called meI guess supposedly there is only one guy who services the entire tampa bay area as wellTHIS IS A HORRIBLE BUSINESS!! I cannot wait to get the hell out of this house!

Hello,
My boyfriend and I have been residents with a company named *** Bay for a yearWe just renewed our lease with *** Bay on March 22nd, We received an email a few weeks ago saying that Tricon Am***n Homes has now taken over *** BayWe had our first payment for rent since the new ownership June 1stWe noticed on the portal that it said "month to month" with a fee of $added on to our rentWe are not month to month residents! We have a copy of our lease and the agreed amount for proofWe have been trying to contact someone with Tricon for this matter since last weekMy boyfriend has called x and has left a message with no return phone callHe also has emailed Tricon with no responseI called x yesterday with sitting on hold then an automated system saying to leave a message and someone will return your callI have also called today with the same situationThis is very upsetting that our first experience since Tricon has taken over is not good at a

God awful customer serviceThey tried to justify raising our rates to cover the cost of repairs and services from other rental properties that exceeded their budgetsThey have no concept of reputation and what it takes to maintain a standard of excellenceBy far worst rental company and that says alot

Tricon american homes is one of the worst management companies I have ever had to deal with .That lied to us since day from our deposit to our repairs this is by far the worst rental situation that I have ever ever experiencedThat management is poor customers service is poor it's sad

This is an awful company to work with for homeowner's associationsAfter years of ownership of a house they picked up that was foreclosed on they continually pay maintenance fees late, always send to wrong address, make the check out to the wrong homeowners association or send it UPS or Fedex to a mailbox bankI only have one contact for this company and he says he will send payment out and never does until I have to contact him over and overThen it goes to wrong homeowner's association! Useless employees or bad companyMaybe both but impossible to work with

These people do not operate with good intentionsAll they want is your moneySigned a lease for a rentalDuring walk thru inspections there was a entire list of problems, electrical, appliances, structuralAll were pointed out at time of walk thruThe small simple things were fixed, but all the big issues haven't been touched in weeksEvery time I contact the company, I get told someone will call me backNever works, they just want to keep passing me on to someone elseI have not been in the property for a month yet and get crappy serviceI can only imagine if something major was to happenI have been trying to speak with someone today, and have been on hold for over minutes nowThey want to use last weeks holiday as an excuse for no one being able to help meRenters beware, my next call is an attorney

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed
the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I have received my security deposit from the businessI consider this complaint resolvedIt was unfortunate that I had to contact the Revdex.com to help me get the money I was entitled to, and that this business did nothing to resolve my problem in the almost weeks I tried to resolve it with the businessThanks Revdex.com

Just moved in days ago, ill admit I have had a few issues but Tricon and its third party Vemdor have been ExcellentQuick responses and very fast repair would recommend them to anyone looking for a lease

My issue involves a safety concern During Hurricane Irma my front door was warped I could not get in or out of the front door for two months I called Tricon, sent pictures, made multiple phone calls, and finally for the second time the door was fixed enough to where it would open However, it is not an outside door it's an inside door Inside doors are not sealed or weatherized The door was still not replaced after two months I called Tricon and spoke with a woman named *** who handles the leases I asked if my rent was going to go up a third time in September when renewal time is My rent has been raised every time I renew my lease, but the customer service has gone down I was told that Tricon is a business, and anywhere I live the rent is going to go up yearly Perhaps I should get a mortgage After this ordeal that is exactly what I want to do The front door is a safety concern because it is not secure, and I have kids here The Seminole Heights killer is s

Can't say enough bad things about this companyTerrible customer serviceNever call you backExtremely long hold timesI had to track down the physical address for their Charlotte offices from our Secretary of State's website, and from there repeatedly show up in person to get them to do anything about several charges we received on our account that were complete, utter B.SWe were able to get them removed in the end, but it took over a month of calling, emailing, and, eventually, planning repeat in-person visits making it impossible for them to ignore meDid I mention we've only lived here two months? I shiver thinking of what the next holds for us

We put in a maintenance request months ago for our leaking roof (two spots)Someone came out and put a tarp on it and we have not heard any kind of FIX or solution - other than the roofers, while putting the tarp on, telling us they cant believe the roof is still attached because it is so oldNow, we have leaks in FOUR spotsI called before hurricane Irma hit us to ask for some kind of reinforcement and was told there was nothing they could doReally???? A hurricane was coming and I was told to deal with itHaving me and my family endure a hurricane with a compromised roof DIRECTLY put our lives in dangerI tried to call the day after and was told I would be called back that day - did that happen? Of course it didn't! I have tried to call times today and am currently on hold, once againNot sure what it is going to take to get our roof fixedMaybe call code enforcement? Fill out a hold of rent form with our lawyer? Its a shame that Tricon cares so little about residents that I have to go through all of this to get a hold of anyone to get answers, not to mention, literally endure hurricane force winds when we know our roof is so fragile (and leaking)This has been a nightmare for my whole family - especially my daughter
I have tried every means of contact - maintenance requests, calling, email, FB message
This is NOT the product we signed to rentThe product we signed up to rent is a safe homeNot one with a year old roof and a tarp - not to mention, the decorative and attractive water stains we now have on the inside of our home :/
I am not a complainer and can usually find positivity and understanding in almost every situation - but I think I have given Tricon more than enough time to rectify this and have grown exhausted with making up excuses for a company who makes it clear they do not care

On June 18, 2017, I submitted an application for a home for rent located at Sinclair Dr, Monroe, NC and paid the mandatory holding deposit of $On June 21, (days later) I received a call from Tricon Homes, in California, informing that my application was approved & that I had two weeks to move into the property I explained to the representative from Tricon Homes, that My move out date from my current rental is July 28th, and that the website did not specified that I had weeks to move in Tricon apparently has a policy on not returning the "holding deposit" of $250.00, so I explained to the representative that if the "week move in" phrase was listed on the contract that I would've not applied because I usually try to apply for another rental with enough time just in case if the new property was not ready The property for rent didn't even listed that it was move in ready immediatelyThe representative from Tricon also stated that not to worry a
