supporting documents. We moved across country and any unnecessary paperwork I had would have had lying around would have been shredded. I didn't know there was going to be an issue otherwise I would have kept it.

Please provide us with proof of the cancellation papers you signed on 11/11/and confirm that you are the only one to remain on your existing membership?

We have lowered his dues to the requested amount and two months of dues were credited back to his card via dispute

Good evening, I believe your concerns have been addressed at the local club on 5/3/

The PT on your agreement has been cancelled Your membership remains active, please confirm if this is to be the case I don't see any refunds, as the last payment was returned

In response to members complaint, member enrolled 2/23/on a one year agreement which rolled over on a month to month basis after the initial term, as stipulated on contract agreement she signed. Member was notified verbally of this on March 29, when she began to incur a past
due balanceWe spoke to her on multiple occasions since then, attached is a copy of her file notes that have been documented during each communication with herFurthermore, member continued to use the facilities well after her one year commitment had passed, and began accruing current past due balance beginning on August 23rd The account has not been sent over to a 3rd party collection agency, but it is pending to be sent once the account has reached day delinquency. What we can do as a resolution and customer service is offer her a settlement for 50% of balance owing which would be a settlement in the amount of $122.61, as well as offer her months of access into the facility so she does not feel as though she is paying for something she did not receive services for. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: I'm do not have any physical proof that I walked in to the location and provided an updated form of paymentI only can give you my word that I did in fact go into the location and provide one of the staff members my updated cardNot to mention the fact that had the contact information on my membership been entered in the beginning or had not somehow been changed this situation would not be happeningI'm not disputing the amount of the back membership feesI am simply asking that ALL late fees and the gym improvement fee be waivedI will pay the amount of the dues owed since November up to nowI do also want to cancel the remainder of my membership with out any further balance due or fees owedI do not check my account activity oftenI schedule payments to come out and the funds are taken from my accountI did my part as far as providing a form of payment to a member of the Trufit staffI assumed that the staff member knew what they where doing and entered my updated card information in to your systemIt would also be nice to have staff have business cards so that customers are able to have proof of being there and providing updated information to themAgain I am not attempting to evade paying the back owed dues, I just would like to have ALLfees waived and that I be allowed to forego the remaining balance of my membership.

My apologies, I was addressing your membership concerns for resolution I do not discipline our staff directly but your concerns were shared with our District Manager to be addressed at the club level

Good day, attached you will find your signed agreement indicating a month term membership. Your enrollment took place online and you had business days to process a cancellation and receive a full refund. Did you move more than miles from any of our clubs?

I'm also concerned with the practice of having an unauthorized individual modify a contractAnd I am concerned if the company is targeting seniors to take advantage of themI believe both are illegal

I am rejecting this response because:I was told information before signing up I was told over the phone along with another member of the gym ( separately) that we can cancel anytimeIf I would have known that that was a statement, I would have not signed the "contract" and brought my business elsewhere to another gymI feel that either there is an employee that is telling potential customers the wrong information or people are trying to get people to join the gym by telling them information that isn't trueAnother member of the gym that is in the same situation as me informed me that she called twice and spoke to two separate people and they both said that she could cancel anytimeI now know that this isn't happening to just me and I feel like this is something that should be looked intoI feel like I was "tricked" into joining the gym and truly believe that I should get out of what I now know is a contract

Thank you for time, you are correct, you did enroll on a month term agreement However, we have reviewed your concerns with upper management and have decided out f customer service to cancel your agreement effective today

My apologies but TruFit Athletic Clubs does not offer a free day trial membershipAccording to our records, we have Ms*** enrolling on a couple month term membership 7/18/with Mr*** ***, expiring 8/18/The agreement
that Mr*** signed on 7/18/indicates their memberships can be cancelled by the third business day (before midnight) after the agreement was signedThis is an active and legitimate couple month term membership entered into on 7/18/The signed agreement indicates a full understanding of the membership, it terms and monthly fees associated until expiration

Please see attached email with the 30-day free trial offered through our management (with *** *** ***@trufitathleticclubs.com in correspondence) that we presented to TruFit at the time of our first visit, which they said they would honor*** and I were both told that we could cancel at anytime, and when *** went in-person to cancel the membership we were still on our 30-day free trial

I do apologize, the salesperson you are referring to is no longer with our companyThe clarification around this particular offer was not shared by our staff properlyAny free pass ** offer, we do so at no cost to the memberYou actually signed an agreement with financial responsibilitiesDue to the circumstances and confusion that surround this particular situation, we are making a special exception and cancelling your agreement along with removing any balances owed, thus removing you from Collections

We have removed all of the late fees from your membership and sent it to be cancelled but your monthly dues balance will need to be taken care of at the local club
