We signed up for services and were told the first treatment would be $29.95. Then treatment every 4-5 weeks @ $50.95...autopsy out of checking acct. well, first treatment done and next day I see a deduction of $80.90??? I call and was told something about yea the first couple of treatments are close together ... Okay then why were we not told that in the beginning?? The a couple of days later they show up and do another treatment and deduct $50.95 again...hello?? So I call the 1-800 number and a customer service representative tells me they will refund the $50.95..which still has not happened and we had also signed yep for treatment to shrubs and trees... First treatment FREE...nope we had $49.95 deducted for that. All of these deductions within one week. Oh we are suppose to get refunded the $49.95 also but nothing yet. We have cancelled our service but I felt y'all should know about this. Thank you!

I received the message, but have not spoken with the business. I do have the cell phone number. I very much appreciate the response. I want to add for clarification that it was not the local business that gave me the trouble. The local representative was very friendly and agreeable to my complaint. It was the corporate office she told me that I would have to call that was not agreeable nor willing to work with me. As shown by the response the local business has given me here, they have shown to be a service-oriented company. I know the local office did not wish to have had to deal with this in this manner, and I'm sorry that it appeared they were the issue.  I regret that the corporate office were not the ones to contact me as the corporate office was who I was hoping to file the complaint against. Again, I accept and appreciate the local response and consider the matter handled. Thanks.

Mr. [redacted] has been contacted and our Service Manager is meeting with him at his property on 7/14/15 to resolve all issues.

We understand that, as a
new homeowner, this situation must be frustrating. Although pursuing a claim
through your home warranty may appear to be the least expensive option,
unfortunately we are not going to be able to honor your request due to the
reasons we previously stated.
As you mentioned in your
original complaint, when the plumber opened the ceiling he "revealed a
cookie sheet that had been placed up there at some point to catch any small
leaks, etc.". The purpose of the pan in the ceiling was obvious, even by
your own admission.
Again, we encourage you
to bring this case before legal counsel. We are confident that he/she will help
clarify exactly why this is not an issue for your home warranty and may be able
to suggest a more effective solution through an alternate avenue.
Also,
as a point of clarification, what we are offering is to refund the full funds
paid to you, the homeowner, not the seller of the property.

Several attempts were made to contact Mr. [redacted] with no response. A refund in the amount of $60.00 will be issued and Mr. [redacted] will be put on a do not contact list per his request.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I am truly disheartened that someone at United
Muffler of Christiansburg would do what they did. First I want to say
this one last time. I checked my wiper blades about fifteen minutes
before  dropped my car off for the inspection and they were fine. My
wife watched me do this. I pulled on them and they were not ripped, top
or bottom, driver or passenger side. I understand that even the
slightest tear is cause for rejection but my blades were fine. In United Mufflers
previous response they said they had nothing to gain by tearing my wiper
blades so my car would fail inspection.  So am I really supposed to
believe that they (the owners) would not profit from selling wiper
blades? Am I really supposed to believe that they will sell me blades at
their cost and install them for free?  It was strange too how the
bottom of the driver blade was torn and the top of the passenger blade
was torn. Think about that. Who ever did this didn't have to make an
obvious motion and lean in towards the center of the car. As to the
comment that "none
of
the technicians working here are related to the owner."  That may
technically be true because I don't know his title but I do know that
one of the sons of the owner does work there. He was the one looking
through the window from the garage bay as I stood at the counter
(Me obviously angry) after I had installed my new blades and I was waiting for the inspector to put the sticker on my car. He didn't come out to ask me what was wrong even though I was standing at the counter with my old wiper blades in my hand looking very perturbed. He left the angry customer to be dealt with by the ladies out front.  I have no bad feelings towards the ladies out front or the inspector (the hourly guy with nothing to gain). I doubt either knew what someone there had done. I'm truly sorry that you (United Muffler of Christiansburg) have lost my trust and business over something so trivial. I don't need or want a response from United Muffler of Christiansburg. All I wish is for anyone who takes their car for an inspection at United muffler of Christiansburg or anywhere for that matter please take a short video of yourself checking your wiper blades for tears with your phone.  You may avoid filing a Revdex.com complaint or at least get the business to do the right thing.
Regards and Thank you Revdex.com,

I hired TruGreen in Colorado Springs to fix my yard and take care of my trees. In the two years we had their services they sterilized my apple tree and they killed my yard. They never returned calls, the regional manager never returned a call and the customer service was horrific.

Have not answered back from this complaint due to the fact that the company has not reached out to me/received reimbursement as stated in response. I believe complaint should stay open until is is completed. Called company and was unable to get information on reimbursement.

Applications do not seem to be applied, especially when the person does not think you are home. I have more weeds now, than when when applications supposedly started. I was promised a call last week, which I am still waiting on.

They try and sell you on a personalized experience but nothing could be further from the truth. I never had any consultation on my yard other than on the phone with a corporate guy in another state. To make things even worse the "Technician" can not be trusted to treat both the front and back yard. This happened early on where they treated my front yard and not the back but said they did. I was home to witness the first shenanigan. I called their main number and they convinced me to give them a second chance so I did. That lasted 2 treatments... I get home today and can easily see the granulated treatment done in the front yard but alas not a single grain in the back yard. I will say their products do work but that is not the issue, I simply cannot do business with a company I don't trust. If this technician is willing to lie about the work he does, what else is at risk in my yard and house?

IN MY OPINION. This is the worst Company on the planet. Service man arrived and did not have the supplies to perform the work ordered, saying "I don't know why I am here." I Called Customer Service and they became upset at me because their service person did not have the supplies needed and they kept saying "What do you want us to do? Do you want us to schedule a service call?"

You i[redacted]!

I called Mrs. [redacted] and left her a message. I apologized for the miscommunication and refunded the remaining $270.90 that she paid.

We do not dispute that your unit should be replaced. However, it is not under the jurisdiction of a home warranty to do so in this situation. The contractor's claim that your unit is free of leakage is misleading and erroneous. There would be no reason to add 7 lbs of refrigerant to a sealed unit unless the coolant had leaked out. Subsequent visits after your closing confirmed that claim. You can confirm that fact with any reputable heating and cooling contractor. You absolutely may have a legal case in this situation but unfortunately it is not with our company. You purchased a home with a defective air conditioner unit and that fact was hidden from you by multiple parties including a heating and cooling contractor. Please seek legal advice. Again, we are willing to cooperate fully with your attorney and believe we may be able to help in your case.We apologize but there is no more we can do in this situation beyond what we have already offered.

Mr. [redacted], As a policyholder your satisfaction is important to us. We are glad to hear that your dryer was repaired without incident. As for your air conditioner, with any home warranty items have to be “in proper, safe working order…at the start of coverage” for them to be covered. Our Terms...

& Conditions (please see attached) state, “ABC Home Services may rely upon documentation in the form of, but not limited to, home inspection reports and service records, to confirm the condition of the item at the start of coverage.” We have requested a copy of the full home inspection to confirm that the air conditioner qualifies for coverage but as of this date we have not received it. If you can provide a copy of a full home inspection we would be happy to review it and reconsider your repairs for coverage. Again, all items have to be free of defects and working correctly at the start of coverage (in this case the closing date) to qualify. Alternately, we can offer you a full refund of the fees paid by the seller if you feel that the product you purchased from our company is not what you had expected. Thank you.

Be careful and read the fine print. I recently signed a contract with TruGreen to get my yard into shape. I have a mixed yard with St. Augustine and Bahia grass. Since I was trying to get the St. Augustine to spread the sales person indicated that they would make it happen. He lied and they sprayed a chemical that killed the St. Augustine after the first application. I cancelled the service immediately. Not only did they not refund all of my money but insisted that I pay for the first two applications which were done at the same time. DO NOT USE TruGreen!!!

my yard is totally destroyed and I have been paying, I truly believe they intentionally kill your grass so they can keep charging you.

Unfortunately, the floor repair detailed within this complaint needs to be claimed through the homeowners insurance. As per ABC Home-SAFE Warranty Terms & Conditions, see attached, coverage benefits exclude the repair of drywall & surfaces removed to access a repair. Secondary and...

consequential damages (i.e. floor repair detailed within this complaint), are expressly excluded from ABC’s coverage benefits.   In the interest of good business relations, our Director will agree to reimburse the homeowner $100 toward the drywall repair.   Thanks, Jodi L[redacted]

Years ago we used TruGreen and initially we were satisfied with there services, UNTIL they started applying products we did not ask for or were even consulted about. We discontinued the service. Two years ago we were approached by S[redacted] and agreed to try their services, with a limited amount of success. Sometime in the recent past S[redacted] sold out to TruGreen, and it is Deja Vu all over again. While we on vacation an application was applied, regularly scheduled, as well as Cinch Bug control. No one ever mentioned Cinch Bugs and we did not ask for it. Today we received a call stating an aeration and seeding service would be done next week. When I questioned this with (lack of) customer service I was told we ordered this on a day we were on vacation, not even close to home. Then we were told it was in the computer when they took over from S[redacted]. The (lack of) customer service person then argued with me about scheduling the service to which I told her cancel all future contract issues and followed that with an e-mail.

Thank you for responding that are agree to our reimbursement offer, we will expidite a check request today.   Thanks, Jodi L[redacted]
