Thank you for taking the time to bringing this to our attention. We rely on the accuracy of the information provided to us by our contractors to determine a fair buyout amount for unrepairable appliances. In this case, we did not realize that your refrigerator is built in, which would increase the...

amount of our buyout amount. We will reimburse you the requested $1,500. The payment will be processed as soon as we have confirmed your payment information. At your earliest convenience, please contact our company, provide your claim number, and we will need to know to whom the check should be payable and where it should be sent. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we worked toward an agreeable resolution for you. Thanks, Jodi L[redacted]

We are sorry to hear that Ms. [redacted] is not
pleased with her coverage under our home warranty. We do not dispute any of the
facts Ms. [redacted] provides in her commentary.
As with any sort of promise of coverage, a home
warranty has a limited scope. That scope is detailed in our Terms &...

Conditions and restricted to items that fail
during the policy period. Our Terms & Conditions (see attached) state “Only
a failure of systems occurring after the start of the coverage period, due to
normal wear and tear, will be covered, except as provided below, regardless of
when the failure occurred or whether it was disclosed to or discovered by the
policyholder.” As Ms. [redacted] stated, it is not only clear and acknowledged by
her that the failure occurred before the policy period but it was also known by
the party who used the baking sheet to catch the water in lieu of repair. We do
not dispute that Ms. [redacted] was unaware of the leak but the existence of the
leak was known by the party that attempted the remedy and not disclosed to the
policyholder.
As we suggested, Ms. [redacted] should contact
legal counsel as soon as possible to discuss an appropriate remedy. We would be
happy to cooperate fully with counsel by providing any support information,
documents, contractor reports and photos in our possession.
While we are quite proud of the extent of our
coverage, we stand behind our statement that the issue in question is well
beyond the scope of home warranty products.
Given that Ms. [redacted] is not satisfied with
what a home warranty is able to provide, we are happy to offer a full refund of
the $549 paid by the seller for the coverage at closing.

Truegreen of Carpentersville not only gives terrible service but also does not deliver what they promise. Trugreen burnt my lawn , which they acknowledge, and they promised to repaired. I have called them on many occasions and they promise they would come buy but they have not. Every time I have callef they give me a new excuse, I've had it with this business s d I will let those that I know that have them to get a different service. I have been dealing with the problem for over 5 weeks.

Trugreen apparently has taken over the former S[redacted] Lawn Service. They recently called and left a message they were going to make an application. We had recently called them and said No to both a "fungicide" and "lawn services. " We don't know if the did the applications but they did send us a invoice for both. It appears a simple no doesn't work with these people and the only way to stop this abuse is to completely cancel the service. Oh, by the way, be sure to get from them a CANCELLATION NUMBER!! This shouldn't take you more than 30-40 minutes on the phone waiting for a customer service rep!! Good luck.

Mr. [redacted],Within the laws governing the home warranty, which is a legal contractual agreement, the maximum we can off you at this point is the full amount paid for the policy.Thank you.

In response to the customer's compliant about his torn wipers, we stand behind our original response.  We sincerely apologize for this incident but if, for one moment, we believed we had any dishonest employees, they would not be working here.  We have absolutely nothing to gain from tearing this customer's (or any customer's) wipers!! That's not how we operate!!  If there was a chance of someone tearing his wipers, we would not have a problem reimbursing him.  Also, in response to the customers comments,  none of the technicians working here are related to the owner.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. We accept the offer from ABC to provide support if there is a lawsuit. We still feel caught in the middle of an issue which required us to be HVAC experts and know that the unit wasn't going to work a few days after the seller's "so-called" repair, leaving us out $3850.

I have used EPM Lawn Care for both my residence and rental properies. I have had nothing but positive results with them. Any issue that I have had only takes 1 phone call and it's handled right away. I have had billing issues and had to have them copme back out and treat my prperty again and it was easliy taken care of. I have used nthem for years and will continue to use them.

In 2015 we signed up with Scott's lawn care for weed control in zoysia lawn, for two houses. Experience in that first year was satisfactory. Weed control substances were sprayed on.
Last week a Trugreen truck showed up (in place of Scott's, for first time since the announced merger). Technician used a wheeled spreader to spread herbicide and pre-emergent crab grass control. Within 2 to 3 days there are brown strips of dead grass corresponding exactly to the path of the spreader, in both lawns.
Technician must have been untrained, inexperienced or careless, or all three! Terrible result.
Cannot recommend this newly merged company.

Unfortunately, I cannot file a complaint because Revdex.com does no accept complaints if the business has not performed a service within one year. I used EPM service for several years until the yard was almost completely destroyed. When I called to cancel, they begged me to give them another chance. Since the yard needed reseeding, I paid them to do that. It was so poorly done that they reluctantly did it again. I gave them one year to straighten out the mess they made of my yard. They did not so I went with another lawn care service. I reseeded the yard myself with a rented machine from Home Depot and now have a nice lawn. I've repeated told EPM to stop calling me. I've explained the problem to numerous EPM sales people. but they continue to call:
1/13/16 11:49 AM, 1/13/16 1:49 PM, 1/13/16 6:44 PM, 2/5/16 12:35 PM, 2/17/16 1:31 PM, 2/17/16 4:14:08 PM, and 2/17/16 4:14:28 PM. Those last two calls were 20 seconds apart because I blocked XXX-XXX-XXXX! This is phone harassment plain and simple. If they were anywhere near as good with their lawn service as they are with harassing phone calls, I would never had to change services. Would you rather mow your lawn or answer the phone?","neg-2

Trugreen drew us in with great marketing and sales, however they failed to deliver good results and charged us much more than the initial estimate. I think they are a bad business despite their professionalism....its all talk.","neg-3

Do not sign up with EPM unless you will stay with them FOREVER!!! I tried several times to quit. I think they may have burned patches in my lawn. I told them in the fall I wanted to stop the service, they asked if they could send a technician out to see why my grass was dying - did they explain to me that having the technician come out cancelled my cancellation - NO. then they charged me $65.
In the past when I requested that they do a one shot weed killer on my spare lot - they quickly charged my credit card but never did the job. After many calls they came out and supposedly spayed it but not one weed faded - what did they spray it with? Water?
If they ever touch my I'll sue them!

Been using truegreen (chemlawn) for years, this year my daughter was going to be married and we were going to have the wedding in the yard and shoot pictures. The who 1 acre yard turned yellow in May due to over fertilization from thier Chemlawn techs. The pictures for the Aug. wedding had to be relocated to another location due to over fertilization of chemlawn. Now they are blaming it on the heat....its been like this since the end of May... My neighbors lawns who barely Raheem care of thier lawns are all green. I want chemlawn to either pay to reseed my whole yard that they ruined ir refund me my 2016 balances paid.

TruGreen representatives Kimberly **, one "Dale", and a rather adamant and fearless Ashley (Employee Badge **) apparently believes that unless a customer has a fence, locked doors, and "no trespass" signs on their property any TruGreen representative can enter the premises, inspect and clip shrubs, and perform any "Upselling" marketing strategies at their whim; this after we expressed that TruGreen marketers and lawn care people were showing up without prior notice, without any prior phone calls, etc. One guy showed up in the neighborhood repeatedly pushing his marketing ploys in an extravagant Mercedes Benz, despite our telling him we were not interested.

Another guy called up, without TruGreen notifying us beforehand, and was wandering the premises early in the morning, instilling horrid fear in both spouse and child. Apparently, too much money, time, and overconfidence from a rogue Organization and its employees. Sorry TruGreen and above named representatives but you're the stars of a Housing Development restraining order to prevent you from harassing innocent families and children with your wanton prostitution of the Law by trespassing and giving legal advice without proper authority and license.

Review: I have used trugreen for several years. Recently I asked them to stop spraying on my yard and they continued to do so. One of their applications damaged my trees and they are discolored. I contacted Trugreen about this and told them that I would need to speak to a manager about this before they came back out and they still refused to acknowledge that request and came out to spray my yard again, against my specific request of them not to do so. I contacted their "customer service", put in quotations because they are incredibly incompetent and did nothing to acknowledge the severity of this issue. I'm very upset and have been trying to cancel this service for several months, yet these people continue to come spray and actually have the nerve to charge me for something I've specifically said I don't want anymore.Desired Settlement: Firstly I need compensation for the damage on my trees. If they would have stopped service at the time I requested then my trees would be fine so they are responsible for damages. Also I need a refund for the services they have done on my property after the fact that I asked them not too. They came on their own behalf so therefore I shouldn't be responsible for their incompetence. Thirdly I need all services stopped by Trugreen. I would not like to be a customer of theirs any longer and I feel that this is obvious as I have tried to canceled service and disputed their services more than once.

Response:

We spoke with Ms [redacted] and set up a time to come out and look at the Spruce trees she felt were damamged by a treatment. [redacted], met with Ms and inspected the trees. The trees were between 1-3 ft tall. He found signs of plant ingury, but also noted new budding on all the trees in question. We offered to replace any of the trees that may die due to the herbicide injury. Ms wanted to hold off on any replacement at this time because the trees were showing signs of recovery. We agreed to follow up with her later in the summer to again examine the trees and determine at that time if any would need to be replaced. We also credited her account for the services she felt she didn't order, and discontinued any further treatments. Ms [redacted] was satisfied with the resolution.
