Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
They never asked for the information until I contacted you about what was going on. They also refused to refund me the $524 that they owe me for not doing what they were contracted to do. I told them that if they were not going to refund me the money, then they would be hearing from my lawyer. The person I spoke with said that is fine, but we will not refund all of your money. If they had of asked me for the information before, I would have given it to them, but like I stated, they never asked for it. They never even offered to fix my credit, which has been destroyed by their lack of communication with the Federal Student loan people for 132 days.
Regards,
[redacted]

This client stated that he received a notice from Fedloan stating that his information was sent in incorrectly and that might be cancelled. Client stated that due...

to not being able to get in contact with [redacted] or any of the customer services reps that he spoke to before he wants to cancel and his money back NOW and doesn't want to speak to [redacted] because he has left her multiple voice mails to no response. I explained to the client we possibly need to do a income verification due to his pay stubs being to old or a very easy and fixable problem. I informed the client to eliminate communication errors I would give him my extension as well as email and make sure this is taken care of. Client understood and would like to continue with our services one last time.

This client called demanding a refund of $700 when she only paid $542. The client is mad that her student loans are past due. UAG asked the client for her online access which is needed to manage the loans. It was not provided to the UAG there fore UAG could not access the loans. A refund had been issued and the account has been closed. Kind Regards,United Advisors Group LLC

I was contacted by UAG in 2014 to consolidate my student loans. They have been debuting my checking account $49 for the past year and the prior year it was $41 a month. No e if this money has been going towards my student loans. This year I have not been able to do tact any one at UAG. I cannot even leave a voice mail because the mail box is full. I have also found out that they put false information in my applications for payi g back my student loans. I would like all my money back that I have paid to this company and emails stating that the issues are being resolved. I also want them to stop taking money out of my account since apparently they are not doing anything to help me with my student loans. They also need to pay any penalty fees that I might receive due to them giving false information.

Hi. I am going through the same thing you are in cannot get a hold of anybody and now I have been contacted by my borrower saying that I owe almost $400 because the payment has not been made since November. I have no idea what to do and cannot get a hold of anybody and they are still debiting $41 out of my account and I’m not sure even How to go about getting that money stopped. I hate to have to cancel my bank account and open up a new one. This is been a nightmare. I still have all of their emails and the paperwork that was faxed to Dan to continue to pay the $41. They asked for tax statements and other documents which I have all of. They are awful.

Review: I contacted [redacted] with the United Advisors Group in November about my student loans. Because I work for the government he explained to me that I would fall under the loan forgiveness student debt relief program. He explained once I pay 389.00 one time payment the group would handle everything with the loans. The amount of $389.00 one time fee was debited out of my account on November 10, 2014 . There after $46.33 was debited Dec. Jan and Feb. from my account. The $46.33 was the amount I would be paying for my loan due to my income. UAG also requested that I faxed two current check studs to them. I was mislead by this UAG. I have made more than several calls and emails but no response because I have been getting correspondence from my student loan requesting payments to be made. After I spoke with someone about my student loans and give them the necessary information needed to get this resolved. Customer service from the student loans informed me with my income I definitely qualify for the forgiveness program and UAG should have not taken any money from me because they have not done anything pertaining to my student loans. UAG has scammed me out of a total of $ 527.99 that could have gone toward my student loans.Desired Settlement: I would like my account closed with this United Advisors Group LLC and my money I have worked hard for refunded back to my checking account for $389.00 plus $46.33 for three months totaling $527.99. Once UAG closed my account and refund my money I would like to be email this information. I also have no desire to speak to them since I have been denied return phone calls in my attempt. I no longer want UAG to contact me email, phone or my workplace and use my personnel information against me for any type of fraud or consumer related attempts.

Review: Some time ago in February 2013. I was contacted to formerly known Student Loan Managers today known as United Advisors Group about consolidated my student loans. After becoming convinced by the company I agreed to go thru the consolidation process. Initial setup installment was $225. Over the course of some months $42 has been taking out of my account for 5months. That is the amount UAG claim is my portion to pay on my loans. It is mid September my loans are not consolidated with this company. I have tried over and over to contact someone at UAG but phone only rings or someone answers and then hangs up or someone answers and say they will have someone to call me but I never receive the call to get this issue resolved. I have been dealing with this issue for 8months and desire answers and a refund. I strongly belief I gave UAG well over enough time to contact me and resolve the issue.Desired Settlement: To have all installments refund back per paper check or to debit/credit card. 1 installment equals = $225 and 5 installments =$42. Totaling $435

Client’s consolidation was done submitted on 04/08/2014.

On 04/23/2014 UAG received his online access and placed him

into forbearance with his current servicer while waiting on the Department of

Education to process his new consolidation.

04/30/2014 The client requested to cancel and we suspended

his SAS account trust account for payments.

05/05/2014 Client spoke to Rob Reese covering his concerns

and question. [redacted] was not satisfied and hung up on UAG rep not listening.

05/23/2014 The client called back and was cancelled out by

UAG after we explained everything to him.

05/23/2014 [redacted]

called back in same day and decided to continue working with us after we had

cancelled him out.

9/4/14 Client called in on 09/04/2014 and let us know loans

were consolidated.

Client’s new loan is with [redacted].

09/05/2014 client requested all his funds back after the

consolidation was complete.

09/08/2014 SAS trust account closed.

The client was upset that he was quoted a $0 payment based

off his income he provided of $35,000. Once verified the IRS website provided

the total income of $38,626 which increased his payment to $23.53. United Advisors

Group has no control over this payment. This is why it is so important to give

accurate numbers at the time of quote. [redacted] informed UAG that he was making

a $460 Federal Student Loan Payment at the time he completed his application and

signed up with UAG. That saves $436.47 a month. We have to use actual numbers

as the Department of Education will verify them.

United Advisors Group does not have any control over the

time it takes for the Department of Education to process the consolidation. We ensure it is submitted correctly and

follow the process to make sure no steps are skipped with the client’s best interest

in mind.

United Advisors Group take the communication very seriously

with all clients and would never hang up on a client. That is unprofessional

and against company policy. The phones are checked daily to make sure all lines

are active and working efficiently.

We are available to continue to answer any questions

[redacted] has going forward. I can offer him 2 months refunds total of $64 to

move forward at this time. United Advisors Group has put a lot of work into

further information going forward.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me just to move on. I have attached a copy of all payments that was made on my behalf. Some information UAG provided was correct and some was inaccurate. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

This company is a SCAM and I wish I had done more research before getting involved with them. They claim they can lower your student loan payments and get you on a 10 year plan instead of 20, but the reality of the situation is they just take your money!! After the first year of signing up for this program they hounded me about renewing everything. I later found out that my payments were not going to the Department of Education for my student loans and were in fact just going directly to the company. My student loans were delinquent and it greatly impacted my credit score. After speaking with a very nice woman with a company called [redacted] I was able to get my loans current and arrange payment arrangements with them. I am still in the process of taking care of this United Advisors Group mess as we speak.

Review: This company contacted me about consolidating my student loans as part of the student loan forgiveness program. I was told that my current payments will be deferred and UAG working on my behalf will work with the DOE to get my loan payments reduced to the amount that we discussed. UAG began debiting my checking account monthly to ensure that I remain in the program. Several months went by until I started receiving letters and calls from the DOE that my student loans are past due and my credit can be impacted. I reached out to UAG to confirm if I am still to make monthly payments them as well as the DOE and I have been unable to reach a live person at this company. Emails went unanswered; messages were not returned until the voicemail became full and could no long take messages. Finally I sent a general email indicating that I will have my bank stop all future debits from my checking account. Then I got a call from Lesley asking me to call her back which I did two minutes later and again was sent to voicemail. I am under the impression that this company is operating fraudulently and should be investigated.Desired Settlement: I need an updated contract with a clear understanding of what this consolidation entails and I need my account re-evaluated and updated. If all else fails, I want to cancel my existing contract and be reimbursed all monies paid to this company.

This client has decided to move forward with UAG. Loans were consolidated on 1/23/2015. This client already made a Fed Loan Servicing account. For some reason the program placement was submitted but is still pending and has not gone through. UAG is re submitting and will make sure it goes through on behalf of the client. The program placement is the last phase of the program until 12 months have passed. The client is to call [redacted] at ext 3** with any questions. If you need any further information please let us know.

Review: I set up a payment plan with this company to be the third party between myself and the Government school loans. I set up payment and began to have it taken out of my account in January knowing that they would fulfill their end of the deal and pay my school loans. On April 25th, I received a letter in the mail from Fed loans saying that my loans were past due. I immediately tried to contact United Advisor Group and did not receive a phone call back. I then called my bank and had them stop payment for future payments. The Fed Loans people said that they see where the loans were consolidated but no payment had been made and the payment arrangements that they did make were not for the correct amount! Now they have my money and I have past due school loans and have to correct what they falsely did to me!Desired Settlement: I want my refund of everything but I also want them to pay for the hardship and time they have caused me! I should not have had this sent over to show bad credit because of them not fulfilling their end of the deal!

Response:

This client has been cancelled out and received a refund of monthly payments. Client signed up and we requested his pay-stubs when he signed up and in his welcome call. Client did not send them to us so we submitted his consolidation without them as a standard. Clients loans were consolidated but we couldn't do program placement since he did not send his proof of income. Client had a few bounce payments and this month they call because they were 90 days past due. UAG applied for a forbearance to bring them current and requested income. Explained that we consolidated and they were the ones that did not send us their income.

Review: This company is absolutley horrible. They approached me regarding consolidating my student loans back in September. I signed up with them not knowing I could consolidate on my own and they have been charging me $46 a month. In the mean time, nothing has happened and my credit keept getting worse. I dropped from a 790 to a 540. I was curious so I kept calling and calling them. Finally I got ahold of someone and she told me that the girl that was originally handling my file forgot to put me in to forbearance and she was fired. So then I asked them to put me into forebearance at this time. Mind you my credit already had 120 days of late payments on it due to the fact that they had still not done the consolidation and also did not put me into forebearance initially. I asked them to write me a letter so that I could send it to the credit beaureaus. They told me they would. A month later they still hadn't so I called them again. Asked them again about the status of my loan and why I hadn't received the letter. They kept pawning it off on the Department of Education and said again they would send the letter. I finally called the dept of Education and they said yesm my account had been sent to a third party that was consoliating my loan.. again they never contacted me to tell me anythingn. Meanwhile they got into my personal accounts and changed all my pin numbers and passwords and all correspondecne with my loans to their email and address and phone number so I couldn't even access my accounts. I have called them 6 times in the last two days.. different extensions and individiuals who had given me their personal lines. NO one has ever answered and or called me back. So as of now, no consolidation has been done, they are charging my account monthly for nothing, no payments have been made on my account so I am in default with the credit beaureaus, they don't ever call me back no have I received the letter of explanation, I don't have any access to any of my personal information.Desired Settlement: I need all my money back from GTX that has charged my account monthly for you to do absolutely nothing on my account

Response:

Thank you for forwarding this complaint to United Advisors Group (UAG). [redacted] an employee spoke with this client on 2/16/15 and closed the account with a refund since the client was not happy with the service provided. The client was not happy on the time it was taking for the consolidation to go through. Unfortunately UAG has no control over the time it takes to complete the consolidation. Once the consolidation is submitted the time depends on the Department of Education and the current servicer's cooperation. If it was up to UAG we would have them done in 30 days but this is not an option. The client is responsible for making payments to their current servicer until the consolidation goes through. This is clearly stated in the signed disclosures. At this time the clients account has been closed with UAG and refunded. If you need any further information please don't hesitate to call.

Review: In February 2014, I was contacted by Student Loan Managers, now United Advisors Group, about consolidating my student loans and having lower monthly payments. After talking with the representative and agreeing to go through the consolidation process, I was informed that I would be charged a $250.00 installment set-up. Starting in March 2014 through September 2014, $108.29 was taken out of my account. I had contact United Advisors Group over the course of that time, whereupon I had completed the phone orientation and later voiced my concerns as to why my loans were not consolidated yet and wanted what I paid them refunded back to me. I understand, and I was told, that the consolidation process would take time. I also asked why they were charging this money monthly while also being charged by my original loan holders, as United Advisors Group was supposed to be in contact with them so that I would not have to make payments to them. I stated that I could not afford to make both payments monthly and had finally asked to cancel with United Advisors Group. I was told that I could not and that the consolidation process would be finalized and that I would not need to make a payment to them in October and November. I contacted my original lenders and told them my dilemma. I was told that no outside group has contacted them about my loans. Now I have received an email saying that United Advisors Group has scheduled a deposit of $39.92 that will be debited from my account. I have tried multiple times to contact them by phone and email and have not received a response. I ask that they give me answers and a refund of everything I have given them. It is not right that they continue to take money from me when they are not giving me the help they said they would give.Desired Settlement: I desire that all installments be refunded back to me by check.

Set-up installment - $250.00

March 2014 - September 2014 of $108.29 = $758.03

December installment - $39.92

Total: $1,047.32

I would also like to cancel any further "assistance" I was told I would receive from United Advisors Group, formerly known as Student Loan Managers. I would be grateful if they refunded me my money and would never contact me again after my refund.

To whom it may concern,

Review: On 4/3/14 I talked and agreed to consolidate college loans with this company. On Monday morning, 4/7 I called to cancel. You have a 14 day cancellation period. My money was withdrawn from my account on 4/7 in the amount of $240.00. I have called several times a day since then with no one answering the phone and none of my calls being returned. I have yet to talk to anyone about getting my refund of $240.00.Desired Settlement: I want my $240.00 refunded to my account. I am well inside the 14 day cancellation period.

Response:

[redacted],

I received your letter of our current complaint ID [redacted].

[redacted] signed up with our company on 4/3/14 with [redacted]. The client is correct the cancelation policy is 14 days with a full refund. In our contract and the compliance read to the client after they sign up we explain you must call one day before your scheduled payment to allow enough time to stop the payment from being batched. This client called on 4/7/14 to cancel but her payment was scheduled on 4/4/14 and had already been ran. We had no idea 3 days prior to her call that she wanted to cancel. GTX the trust company was contacted and the client was refunded her initial payment. I’m sure the reason for the complaint as we took care of her and followed our policy. If the client has any further questions she is more than welcome to call client services during business hours.

I thank you for your time please let me know if you have any further questions for our company at this time.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

I started doing business with this company late 2013; I too paid the up front fee and the monthly payments and was asked to wait, as the consolidation took up to three months. 6 months in, I was concerned, but still continued to make the monthly payments. It was late 2015 when I tried to log in to my private loan account (they said my private loans weren't eligible for consolidation) they had changed my log in information to their own information, and I had to run around trying to change it back to my personal information, so I could keep up with my loans, only to find out that my consolidation had gone through months before (I was never informed) and the loans had been sold to [redacted] (I WAS NEVER INFORMED), and guess what I found when I logged in to [redacted]? That I was supposed to have renewed my income based payment plan over a month ago, or I would start paying $361 to my Department of Education loan. They called me last year to renew, but back then, I was under the impression that the money they were taking every month was going toward the loan itself, only to find out that it's a service fee. So, not only have I not made a single payment on my Department of Education loans, but they have been stealing from me for almost 2 years. I've called, I've emailed, and the last step will be to shut my account down.

I had thought they were legitimate, as the consolidation actually went through, but their business ethics have got me running for the hills, as now I'm further into debt and unable to find a way out.

I am incredibly dissatisfied with their service. They have been charging me for almost two years, saying they are taking care of my loan, but haven't informed me of anything happening with my accounts, and still has me do all my own paperwork and pay all my own loan payments. On top of that, they sold my loans to [redacted], who I have a tough relationship with as it is, as I am making payments to them already (that I really can't afford) and I will be expecting to make more, larger payments on top of the ones I'm already making. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I'm only able to work part time, and simply cannot make these payments. I am furious, to say the least.

On day I will learn to research companies before I fall for their line of legal bureaucracy. A member [redacted] called me and kept me on the phone for 3 hours convincing me to let them help me reduce my School loan debt and have it paid off in 10 years instead of 20 years. I agreed and so did my husband. A double whammy. They took $ 316 from each of us one time and then approximately $100/month for 4 months. They promised we would here from them in 3 months with a response of accepted or declined. We paid them without a problem as a bank withdrawal and no response ever came. I started trying to call, email, text, and leaving messages within a few days to stop the process. No one answered the phone or returned my messages. I still to this date cannot reach them (949-556-3010). I had to change my debit card and checking account to stop them in their tracks and still no response from them. They are scamming individuals and getting away with it. They told me they worked with lawyers that could cut through the governmental red tape. What a joke!!!

DO NOT EVER ACCEPT THESE PEOPLES ADVICE OR AGREE TO LET THEM HELP YOU. THEY WON'T. THEY WILL JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY.

Review: Hello, I believe I started business with this group close to a year now. They have been deducting money straight from my bank account to pay my student loans; however my student loan representative stated not one payment has ever been made to my student loan. The last time money was taken from UAG was on 10/02/2015 and still no payments have been made to my student loans.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of all the money they have taken from me and my contract with them terminated. I would also like to know if I can cancel all payments with my bank before the issue is resolved since they have already breached contract by not paying.

This client was in the correct program for the last year. She was in a $0 qualifying income based program that went from 9/11/2014-9/11/2015. An employee by the name of [redacted] has left her a voicemail to assist her forward. Every year you must turn in new income to re apply for another 12 months. At this time we need her update income verification to re apply for another year. At this time the client can send in her up to date 2 pay stubs from the last 30 days or tax returns and UAG can get them submitted to the servicer or we can cancel the account out. Please have the client contact [redacted] to make a decision. Thank you for your time.

Review: On 2/24/15, I notified [redacted] of my desire to end my contact with UAG. He then referred me to [redacted] who contacted me on 2/25/15. I was of the understanding that UAG was paying my student loans based on monthly debit withdrawals from my checking account. Upon receiving a call from [redacted] that my loans were past due, I contacted UAG. To my dismay, the loans had not been paid. UAG obtained a total of $4,100.79 from my account over time. Upon cancellation of my contract with UAG, I received a wire transfer of $3,154.93 on 2/26/15. Based on my contract with UAG, a monthly fee of $31 was assessed for a total of $372 which was due to UAG. It is my understanding that UAG still owes me $573.86 of my hard earned money. Outreaches to UAG has not been returned. I have given UAG more than ample time to respond to my request and am in need of your assistance to obtain the remaining $573.86 due me. If needed, I have emails that provide written / supporting documentation of the type of communication exchanges occurring between UAG and I. Additionally, there was no contact # provided.Desired Settlement: I am seeking a refund check for the full amount of $573.86 sent to my mailing address of record. This money is not due to UAG.

This client file has been closed and refunded minus the non refundable GTX fees (escrow company) which is $10 a payment made disclosed in the contract signed. If you need any further information please reach out.

Review: I contacted United Advisors Group in hopes they would help me with my student loan that was about to go into default. I seen an ad online and figured that I would call them and see what they could do to help me. After speaking with a man named "Mikalh" he was telling me how I would qualify to pay $30 back each month and all I had to do was pay $500 in order to help me get started into the program they offered. I explained to him that my financial situation didn't allow me to give him the $500 that they had asked for that day, and he told me he would talk to his supervisor and see if he could lower it. He then said that if I paid $225 to join the program I would then be set up on $30 payment plans to pay back my student loan. They took $225 on 11/06/14 for their "program fee" and on 12/01/14 is when the first $30 payment was taken out and was supposed to be applied to my student loan. I received a call from my school today (12/11/14) and was informed that my student loan was in severe danger of default and nothing had been applied. I contacted the US dept of education with the help of the woman ([redacted]) from my school and was directed to fie a complaint. We both have tried contacting UAG multiple times (12/11/14) with the phone either ringing or someone hanging up on us.Desired Settlement: If I could get a refund from the company, great. I know however, this is most likely impossible. I was notified that since they are not part of the Revdex.com that the Revdex.com can only tell them to stop and they cannot force them to do anything. I just want them to stop scamming other people out there like me who stumble upon this or at least make people more aware of how many scams are out there and just how easily they can fall into one.

Response:

Thank you for sending us this complaint so it can be addressed right away. [redacted] signed up with United Advisors Group LLC on 10/23/14 after speaking with [redacted]. This client is confused on how the program works. The $30 payment is not toward her Federal Student Loan that is the payment split over 12 months for United Advisors Group service fee to process the consolidation through the Department of Education. The contracts signed by the client clearly stats the payment break down. If you would like a copy please let us know and we can send you a copy. After the client signed the contract a compliance script was read to her as well making sure she understood which she agreed to. At this time United Advisors Group has done everything we are suppose to the consolidation is on track with the Department of Education. The client was frustrated how long the process is taking but that is on the Department of Education and we cant change the Department of Education process. They are backed up and taking 60-120 days on average currently. [redacted] has reach out to this client and she was very rude not understanding the process the consolidation takes making comments about United Advisors Group when nothing harmful has been done. At this time we planned on refunding the client. United Advisors Group LLC would like to help as many people as possible especially those who don't understand the process, but some people are to difficult to assist. We cant not refund the money as the client revoked the charges with her bank already instead of calling and asking for the money from United Advisors Group LLC. Our company wishes this person the best and advises the call the Department of Education to get a better understanding of how the consolidation works to ensure she is I the best position with her Federal Student Loans. If you need any further information please reach out to us.

Review: I contacted this company in August regarding the potential for my student loan to be reduced. A representative of the company named [redacted] explained to me that the company's service was as follows: they would find government programs which allowed teachers like me a reduced monthly payment to the federal government on my student loans, in addition to lowering the total amount of money that I would owe in interest (Once again, through government initiatives located by his company.). [redacted] told me that after an initial payment of 295, that my student loan through his company would be reduced by about $100.00 monthly through the government programs he had located. A percentage of my monthly payments, he said, would go to United Advisors Group for services rendered (Specifically locating the programs and filling out the necessary paperwork on my behalf); the rest would go towards my federal student loan. The company began taking payments out of my bank account in August (the first for $295.00), and has been taking monthly payments in the amount of $207.00 every month since then up to January 23rd. On January 22, the Federal Government took a payment of $412.00 out of my bank account. One day later, United Advisors Group took their $207.00 payment. My account was over-drafted. I did not notice any of this until this evening when I went into my bank account for a completely different matter. I went through some old e-mails and I discovered that what United Advisors Group ACTUALLY did was to file me for forbearance. This is particularly infuriating because [redacted] and I specifically discussed the concept of forbearance and how undesirable it was, and I told him that this was not something I wanted EVER, particularly while I was employed. For the past seven months, UNited Advisors Group has been removing payments from my bank account under false pretenses: they didn't just fail to deliver the services promised, they lied completely.Desired Settlement: The company completely misrepresented their services to me, failed to provide a working extension with which to contact [redacted] (via an e-mail which deliberately omitted [redacted]'s extension), deliberately provided a non-function "Contact us Anytime" phone number (via e-mail) and failed to send me a letter via the post office that they promised would outline their services rendered. The company has taken my money under false pretenses. I would like a full refund of the estimated $1,350.00. In addition, I would like an extra $13.00 tacked onto that for the overdraft fee I was forced to pay. After I contact the Federal Student Loan office on Monday morning, I may discover that the company has cost me additional money by putting me into forbearance without my permission. I am unable to say at this time.

I would like to retract my complaint. I was contacted by AUG yesterday, and their representative [redacted] is currently working with me. He has filed for a complete refund of my money and is working closely with me in regard to consolidating my student loans. I apologize for any inconvenience this has created and I thank you for your time. *. [redacted]

UAG engages in fraudulent and unethical business practices. Not only did they take my money for 9 months with no proof of any work done on my student loan consolidations, they only responded when I stopped paying them monthly payments for the "services" they allegedly provide. In addition, they are highly unprofessional, rude and unresponsive. My case was not worked on until I sent strongly worded emails indicating I was filing a complaint with the state Attorneys General office. After repeatedly trying to cancel with them, I was told I "could not cancel." Suddenly, and without any communication in writing or verbally, my loan was sold to a company I did not approve or choose. Because of UAG's fraudulent practices, I lost a considerable amount of money to them and now have a loan with a servicer that was far worse than the government loan servicer I had before.. This company should be shut down and I am hoping my complaint with the California State Attorney General will do so. I urge others who have been scammed by UAG to contact their state attorney general and file a complaint.

Review: This company was to consolidate my sons student loans and charged me 275.00 to begin the process and on march 5 2015 then continued as agreed to charged 55.83 cents a month to pay on the loans which these were taken out of my bank account on April 6th , May 5th and June 4th 2015 and no payments were made to either student loans and I received a letter from them stating they were going to garnish his wages. United Advisor Group did not do as we agreed and I was taken for 442.49 and would like to be reimbursed this amount if at all possible by cashiers check as I have had to close my bank account and open a new one to keep them from access to my money.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of money taken !!

It seems there is a misunderstanding about UAG and service to be provided. UAG will clarify before misleadingly calling the company fraudulent. This person's son signed up with UAG to have his federal student loans consolidated and placed into the PAYE (pay as you earn) repayment and forgiveness program. As stated in the contract attached, her son was informed both in writing and verbal during the compliance call that he is responsible for making lender payments to his current lender until the consolidation is completed or unless he can get into forbearance. UAG also told him that the consolidation and program placement will not be completed until he sends us proof of his income since the PAYE program is income based. This require two current pay stubs or tax returns. Furthermore, we gave him the payment break down, explained our cancellation and refund policy, and gave him the email address and fax number to send his proof of income. Her son had a welcome call scheduled for 3/13/2015 at 9:30am PST and he did not answer. During the welcome call we go over everything stated above again and we answer any questions. Unfortunately, your son missed the welcome call so we emailed him instead, reminding him that we still need his proof of income. All we need to complete the consolidation is the proof of income to process the program placement phase. That is the last step in the process. She can read page 1, section 5 of the service agreement attached for our cancellation and refund policy. Also, please read page 2, section 14, Letter G of the service agreement and read section 7 of the Disclosers document, both state clients are not to miss lender payments. If you need any further information please let UAG know.
