Valley Environmental Resources, Inc. Reviews (545)

My wife and I feel that Valley Environmental Resources, Inc provides a great product and services. The installation of the equipment was timely and professional. The installation team exceeded all expectations. They explained what would happen as they proceeded, and left our home free of any installation debris or dust. All equipment operated as promised. Their cleaning products combines with the softer water seem to make cleaning our home easier than with any other products. We love the cleaning products. We no longer purchase gallon containers of distilled water. Very little product is required for our dishwasher, a lot less than we were accustomed to using, and there is no need for additional products to eliminate spotting on crystal. Dishes are now shiny clean. . [redacted] was very experience and helpful in explaining the products, and how to achieve optimal performance with minimal effort. Very customer focused with a great product and service!!!

Just had a very amiable conversation with [redacted].  We had [redacted] in our computer for September with a note to call earlier when we have an opening ( which happens constantly).  We understand her time concerns and make it a priority to take care of our customers promptly. In her case we...

moved her up to this Sunday at 10am which she was quite happy with.  If part of the system (transformer) or something that we did caused the power problem we will also be fixing that at no additional charge as well as replacing her 4 filters and doing our annual maintenance on both systems.  We discussed all the aspects of the annual service and that it is not just a filter change. We sanitize the system, check and replace fittings if needed, calibrate the systems, run water tests, and more to ensure the systems are operating at optimum levels.  After reviewing all this she agreed to our discounted charge of $135 for the first year as she is part of our customer loyalty program.  She was agreeable and pleased with the solution. Thanks for being our customers [redacted] and [redacted] and we will see you Sunday.

The water softening system installed by VER has been great! We had it installed in September '13 and so far, many of the calcium deposits and stains have disappeared off of our shower and kitchen sink. Laundry detergent use is much less, and skin feels considerably better after showering/washing hands. We also purchased the optional Reverse Osmosis drinking water filtration system, and to us, this is the best part of the product. Unless it's RO or bottled, water tastes bad anywhere else!
Our salesperson was Wayne, and he is a down to earth, great guy and easy to work with. We asked some pretty specific questions and he was able to answer them all. As he mentioned during the demonstration process, the system sells itself. Although expensive, we are pleased with our purchase of the system and would do it again. Thanks!

Valley Environmental Resources water softener system has been very good. The soften water makes cleaning our carpet easier and quicker. Since we have a new puppy, that is a wonderful blessing. The representative which initially demonstrated the water system made a few inaccuracies regarding pricing of the system and the actual savings, but otherwise he was a true gentlemen and professional. Customer service is willing to help with any situation that might arise, even if it means digging up the underground pipes laid out for the system and replacing them.

To ANYBODY considering this water conditioner system:

When we committed to writing a brief letter about our experiences with our new water conditioner system, I couldn't imagine that it wouldn't be exactly that... brief. However, since we've been using the system for a month now, I'm afraid that the letter might end up being a bit longer than anticipated!!! Our experience with Valley Environmental Resources has been very pleasurable!!!

We were very surprised that our system was installed the next day!!! The installers were very professional, and finished within two hours!!! They cleaned up after themselves, answered our questions, and were very friendly!

Initially, everything was as expected, better tasting water out of the tap, cleaner skin, softer hair, no build-up on the faucets and shower walls, etc. The water we are now using keeps surprising us! I have a skin condition, and while showering and using the supplied body wash, (not the hypo-allergenic expensive stuff) I've noticed a marked softening of my reactions. I expect even more as I continue! We love the feel we have after a shower!!!

My wife has fallen in love with shampooing her hair without having to use conditioner, and is amazed at how much cleaner her hands and nails are! Another amazing result is how clean our dishes come out of the dishwasher! She used to pre-wash everything that went into the dishwasher, and sometimes would hand wash certain things. Now she just does a quick rinse and lets the appliance do the work! Drinking glasses are clear, not cloudy or spotted. Our pots and pans are coming clean after such a long time of washing them in city water. There isn't any aftertaste after cooking stinky veggies and fish and then something with a delicate taste! Silverware is cleaner! She has fallen in love with her dishwasher again!!!

Our clothes are becoming much cleaner; whites are becoming white, not beige, and the colors have more "pop." Our towels aren't as scratchy, and the micro-fiber cleaning cloths that we use are wiping things cleaner!!! I have a favorite T-shirt that I dripped some varnish on, and after several washings, the varnish stain is almost completely gone! It would have been a "paint shirt" before the conditioner!

I just finished washing our Sequoia for the first time since the system was installed and am happy to report that the whole thing was washed with a half spray bottle of cleaner, instead of a bucket of suds, just like Dief said! I have to admit that I thought that he was just "blowing smoke" when he told us that we could do that!! We just returned from a trip to Douglas, AZ and collected a swarm of insects all over the front of the truck, and the windshield was a mess! I sprayed on some cleaner and wiped the bugs off like they weren't even there! I haven't hand washed this vehicle since we discovered Star Wash, but now I'll save the almost $20 each wash and the hour sitting in the lounge waiting, by doing it myself! (Incidentally, while we were gone, I couldn't wait to get back to shower in our own water!)

The RO system water is working even better than before! Ice cubes are taste free now, and my wife's Sodastream Diet Cola's taste much better! I even put an ice cube or two in my scotch on occasion... And my coffee and her tea are amazing!! We removed the expensive filter from our refrigerator and won't have to worry about when it's time to replace it ever again!!! Several of our friends have been talking about coming to our house and filling their water bottles, instead of buying bottled water! I will say that I could not stand the taste of Avondale city water, and would shudder each time I brushed my teeth and rinsed. Now it's water right out of the tap!

We knew from our demonstration that some of these things would happen, but we have been overwhelmed by the change in our attitudes about the water we use! Although we are both on fixed incomes now, we saw that an investment in this system would reap benefits far down the line. I'm now looking forward to less or no maintenance for our on-demand water heater, our clothes washer, our dishwasher, and all the plumbing in general! We've bought some solar salt from Sam's Club for less than $5, and have had to add salt only once since purchasing the system! We have over half a bag left!

When we had our home built, there was an issue with one of the bathrooms when a worker drove a truck over the wet concrete and broke some of the pre-plumbing in the guest bath. Concrete, sawdust, lumber cutoffs, and various other pieces of junk filled the hole, and we have had problems of stopped up toilets in both bathrooms frequently since the build. Since the water conditioner was installed... not one backup!!!! And... as we were told, fewer chemicals are needed throughout the house for cleaning!

My wife has been trying to use fewer cleaning chemicals for some time now, and has been able to get rid of most of the cleaners she used to have to buy on a monthly or semi-monthly basis, which is definitely helping our budget. We have tile floors in every room except our two bedrooms, and all she has to do is damp mop the floor with her micro-fiber mop once a week to keep our floors spotless. Of course, every once in a while, something yucky gets spilled that may require a couple of drops of vinegar to get clean!

We are looking forward to many years of clean living with our new water conditioner system, and would hope that you could see the advantages as well!!

Sincerely,
[redacted] and [redacted]

We have has our water softener for about three months and we love it! We are so happy with our purchase; we sometimes wonder how we ever lived without it! We are using less soap for dishes, clothes, and personal hygiene. Our drinking water actually tastes good! No more bottled water for us! ** and his team were so easy to work with and made us feel comfortable. We would highly recommend Valley Environmental Services to our friends and family!

My name is [redacted] and I'm a very happy customer with my purchase of The Clean Living Aqua-Guard & Clean Living SM-8 Hyper Filtration System. I've had the system a few months and I've noticed my dishes are cleaner than ever coming out of the dishwasher. My glasses haven't been sparkly clear since they were brand new. My shower has less shower sm, my clothes are cleaner and whites are brighter. I really like the supply of cleaning products that came with it that rival brand name products. The thing that impresses me the most is the impact the water system has had on my animals. I have 2 boxers and my older one has had dry skin and dry nose issues. Now her fur is so much softer and her nose is no longer jagged and rough-looking. I'm impressed with the system that sells itself and ultimately pays for itself over time with the money saved on supplies and hard water damages.

Bob was very informative and explained the system and how the operation of the system. Where I live the water company is terrible with giving safe water to the residents. Installation of the system was without incident. We are pleased with the outcome of the system.

I am writing a review for Valley Environmental Resources. FIRST: I never write reviews! Never! When you buy their product, they ask you to please write a review so other people will know if you liked their product/services or not. I am HAPPY to write this review. I don't like they way they sell their product, but holy cow does it work! I am MORE than happy with my water here at home. It boggles my mind how great my water taste. Before they installed their equipment, my water tasted really really bad (like crap!!!). I still can't believe it (we've had it >2 months). If you're reading this (it's because they are trying to sell you a system). I went to the Revdex.com before I bought it. I couldn't believe the amount of positive reviews. I lived in my last house 12 years (new house 6 months). I wish I would have bought this system a long time ago (because it would have transferred to my new house). Yeah, it's expensive, but it really works (not kinda good.... really good). The first day (after installation) my kids went to school with our "new" water. They all (4) commented on how GREAT the water tasted. It's really crazy how bad the water was before. I mean tasted incredibly HORRIBLE. We can now leave a glass of water out all night on the counter (room temp now) and drink it in the morning and it taste great. In the past, there was no way we would drink the water unless it was really cold with ice.
The showers feel different. I can't comment on the skin thing. Yeah, it might help, but I don't know.
I still don't know why they give you all that cleaning stuff. All I can say is it works and it does save money overall (have you priced laundry soap lately?). I can honestly say we probably will not buy any kind of soap for about a year (at least). It does save money.
Would I buy again. Yes and with less hesitation.
I don't know why they sell it the way they do. They have a great product, I just wish they sold it differently. If you're in the market for a water system, buy this one and thank me later. Man, my water use to taste like CRAP!! Sorry for my bluntness, but that's the only way to describe the extreme nastiness of our water.
Oh yeah. They installed the system the next day (on time and quickly). They cleaned up their mess. And from that day on, I've never looked at the system or did anything to it. Crazy great tasting water.

Parker, Tom, and Bob with Valley Environmental were awesome! They were quick and to the point, explained everything and showed us just how much hard water was effecting us. the install was the next day and only took about 2 hours! It has been a little over a month since they installed our water softener and it has made a world of difference. We arent scrubbing things for 30 minutes to get them clean any more, my dishes dont have the white residue left on them, I have already saved about 50.00 this month on not having to buy soap or water jugs, and my sons skin isnt dry and itchy any more so no more expensive lotions for him! We had been thinking of getting a water softener for a while but hadnt known anything about it or where to start. These guys made it sooooo easy. Thank you!!!!!!

July 8th, 2016. I've had my system with this company for a year and a half now and have had headaches with it since month 3. I have called to their office and complained so much the management staff knows my case by name. I've never had a problem with calcium build up on my bathroom faucets and shower heads until this system was installed. I get many occasions of black water coming through my bathroom spouts and toilet. Keep in mind I do keep salt in my system and add to it regularly thinking I'd avoid the occurances. But also Another situation I have never in my life seen until this system got installed. When they first knock on your door and pitch the sale, I was pretty convinced I'd be experiencing cleaner water compared to not having a filter system. They have you write a quick review on the Revdex.com to keep their looks good and life goes downhill from their. They are way overpriced and it's a financial trap. I have a $5,000 crappy water system that I can not return from their continued excuses. Plus you only have a couple weeks to return it. But you don't see problems until a month or so into your experience. I google some reviews about this company and there are similar complaints about the water coloring. So if you enjoy showering or brushing your teeth in black water, this system is for you. Nothing they had showed us in their demo about there system is true. Now my husband and I are struggling to get away from this company because they want us to wait 3 weeks for a service tech and charge $80 each service call for a broke product they installed. It's not worth it. Save your money while you can and go to Lowe's or Home Depot for a water softener. We don't even care about the loan amount at his point. We just want to get rid of the system.

My family has just recently had service provided to our home with a water filtration system through valley environmental resources and everything from start to finish went perfectly. Our sales rep, Parker, was awesome, he came in and spent nearly 3 hours with us going over everything in detail. The installation guys came in the next afternoon and had our entire system up and running in about an hour and we are so happy with the end result. Our water now tastes so much better and we know it is so much healthier for us and our showers are so much more enjoyable. This company has been awesome to deal with.

We have had our soft water system and reverse osmosis system for a few months now. So far, it is been performing exactly like they said it was. The first visit was an eye opener and the salesman was very easy- not pushy.

I did have 1 item I had them re-do, it was the drain line for the system flush. I did not like the initial install location. The company acted promptly and they came back the very next night and re-did it. No hassle or attitude from the guys.

We all love the feeling of the water and the clean glasses in the dishwasher :)

Valley Environmental Resources was a great buy. We are very happy with our water softener system. Everyone associated with the company was very prompt, professional and courteous. Our system was installed the very next day after the sales call. The installers did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves, explained the system very well, and were willing to answer all of our questions.

[redacted],   After reading the response, we understand you are taking the stance of if it’s not on the contract then there is nothing you can do. After more research online, we feel there is an error or misscommunication in the way of your business selling that is common in this situation. There are other reviews and complaints that reference the same situations happening. Just as you know that a canvasser gave us a literature, which I know we were never handed anything, we know what we were told when the sales person was in our home. We would like to see how you know for certain we were handed something that shows what your company offers and sells on 12/9/13. I remember a young woman ringing the door bell and just say she is from Valley Environmental Resources and are collecting water samples in the neighborhood and if she could have a sample from inside the home. Never was handed or told what the test was for or that it was for a future product demonstration. Did receive a phone call later on and asked if can set up a time to go over the results. Again, no mention that this was going to be for a product demonstration. Our biggest concern at the time of the demonstratio was that we did not want to give up a $6,000 system when moving. Just as you have mentioned there are spots on the contracts to document moving the system, we believe that it was either: 1. forgotten to be marked by the sales person Mike or 2. Mike knew full well what he was saying but did not put in writing on purpose knowing we would not check. We would hope this was not the case and you can understand our position. We have always spoke well about the product and told all our friends what a great product it is and the great deal we got. We hope this issue can be resolved simply and we can continue to be a customer of your company. Thank you for your time   Jason Simpson

First off, thank you for being our customer and it's unfortunate that there is some confusion on this issue. I believe in regards to your complaint that we must first clarify the truth and the facts regarding your purchase.  Your system was purchased on 2/15/2012, not 11/1/11. You purchased an...

Aqua Guard for $4910, not $10,000,  and we installed new filters in your existing RO for no service charge. Your salesperson's name is [redacted], who has over 500 customers and an impeccable record of honesty and detailed notes and documentation on his accounts. I point this out as we realize that it is difficult to remember a sales discussion if it happened 1 month ago, let alone 2-3 years ago. Our company's policy is consistent with industry standards (not just in water treatment, but almost all direct sales business) and that is we honor any and all written and documented agreements. It was not documented anywhere on your work orders, installation completion forms, follow up visits, or customer satisfaction forms that Valley Environmental was to move your system for free. That's 4 documents that you signed without any mention of us doing free additional work. Also to be noted is that even if we could come pick up your system, you would still be obligated to fulfill your loan to the finance company.  The financing agreement is between you and the finance company, not us. The point here being is that it is your system and your loan.  I was told by our service department that you realized this and have done the appropriate action by paying us to come out and disconnect your system correctly for your move.  We would be happy to assist you in locating a suitable company to install your system at your new location as we have contacts nationwide.  We wish you the best on your move and know you'll be experiencing those wonderful benefits that you mentioned for many years to come. Sincerely,  [redacted], President

Glad we decided to go ahead with the water treatment system via Valley Environmental Resources. They were very professional and willing to work around our hectic schedule. Our guests tell us how delicious our water is when they come over, which we never told them we have a water system.

I've had my system for about two months. I love the system. The water tastes great and my skin is so soft. I haven't used lotion since about a week after I had the system. The install crew was great, they were on time and had the entire system installed, cleaned up any mess and showed me how everything work. They arrived just before 5pm and were gone a little after 8pm. Both gentlemen were very nice and polite. My sales rep was very friendly. Unfortunately his name escapes me and can't locate paperwork with his name. The next day after the install a representive from the company called to see how my experience was with the intall crew and my rep. Overall I had a wonderful experience and love my system.

Veri has again reviewed this situation and we feel strongly that we have gone above and beyond what is fair and reasonable on this matter and misunderstanding. We honor every and all documented promises and commitments, and in this case there was nothing documented on multiple work orders and installation completion certificates. Also to note is that Veri does not ship customers used equipment. It is a service we simply do not do. The equipment will be disconnected and boxed up appropriately and all plumbing will be returned to its original working order. The customer simply needs to have it moved with the rest of their appliances and belongings to their new residence. Veri has agreed to perform the disconnect and box (work that Veri is in the business of doing) at no charge to maintain goodwill. The work was completed on 3/18/2015 and again was done at no charge to the customer. We have discussed this with the customer, they have accepted the free work and we feel that we have been more than fair and reasonable. We have faxed all necessary paperwork to you (Revdex.com) for your professional review. Veri wishes [redacted] and [redacted] a safe move and respectfully declines any other concessions on this matter.
Sincerely,
