I'll be honest, I got this card for the sole reason to rake in the $75 bonus, but after that, I have ended up using my Varo account a lot. The platform is simple and easy to use. It links via the Plaid platform very easily. They are a cut and dry company. There is no BS and scam type stuff going on like you get with Chime (fraudulently charging accounts under an alias and taking people's money) and most of the other "neo banks". They offer a service. They are clear on what they offer and what they don't, and most importantly they follow through with what they say they'll do. I've had 3 or 4 friends set up an account. Just had one get their card today actually. My only complaint, is that they took away their refer a friend reward. Used to be a $50 or $75 bonus for referring a friend. I wish theyd bring that back. Other than that, I have no complaints and only praise for these guys.

Easy to use. Money available 2 days before actual payday. Love the added feature that you can turn on and off that allows you to overdraw up to $50 more than you have as long as you repay within 30 days without any additional fees. Just an all around amazing card

I’ve been getting the same amount deposited for several weeks from unemployment. And for some reason they decided to suspend my account with no regards for me and my family. Also I’ve yet to get a response and it’s been 3days! That was all the money I had! This is a terrible bank! They choose to do people anyway they want. And now I’m going to be behind on a mortgage payment in a economic crisis. I highly recommend people to not bank with varo. There is no support at all for their customers with accounts whom they’ve closed!

Egregious customer service. Holding my money and personal documentation for weeks on end while I am left in a financial situation.
