On May we provided Jeff Tomlin with a copy of the enrollment verification and also issued a $billing adjustment check on 5/21/ All phone leads are scrubbed every days against the Federal DNC registry so if the phone number in question was on the DNC list at that time it should have been blocked unless there was some type of processing issue The customer should be in receipt of our check at this time and we think this was a reasonable resolution

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I did not receive the notice and I have had 2 months or 3,000 kWh of exorbitant charges against my account and have yet to revive my final bills. We sent the customer the following email today [redacted] , I reviewed your Revdex.com inquiry and recent call into our customer support group Your wife enrolled with [redacted] over the phone on 1/18/at 3:24PM Your account was on a variable rate offer and the rate increased due to significant increases in energy supply costs, not all of which were passed on to Verde customers.Your account will leave service with Verde at the end of the current billing cycle on 7/14/ Based on your call to our customer support staff we are sending you a $cash bonus rebate check and a $billing adjustment check which lowers the rate on your most recent bill to $0.0849/KWH and this lower rate will be used for your final bill in July ( letter from our customer support staff is in the mail to confirm this) You should receive these two checks in approximately weeks Regards, [redacted]

On 5/22/15, I spoke with customer on the phone at lengthNo refund due for electric, as he was paying a lower rate than our mass market fixed rate.Issued refund for difference in rate for gas for billing cycles:4/2/2015-5/1/and 3/3/2015-4/1/Updated gas rate to .3999/therm for final gas bill.Refund Check Initiated for $69.05Both accounts are cancelled[redacted] ***Customer Support | Verde Energy USA [redacted] ***

The following email was sent to the customer Ms. Ramkissoon, I reviewed your BBB inquiry. Your refund check for $68.69 was mailed on 5/1 so you should receive it in the next few days. Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Hi ***,Your explanation does not seem to agree with my billing You mentioned that the customer service representative provided me with the detail of my account since inception and that is not what I was charged That is not accurate I understand that you say the account is reviewed every February and the budget billing amount was adjusted but something still isn't correct The detail that I was provided showed budget billing adjustments plus an energy charge which totaled $this was since service start date 10/22/ On my December 19, from my utility company I was charged $from Verde As I mentioned this is the total of the billing adjustments from 10/22/and energy charge from 11/15/14-12/15/ So I am very confused on how you can say that I wasn't being billed adjustments since inception What does the $represent then? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: There is no sugar -coating the extortion game played here by Verde Energy. Your total bills added on my account since December 2015 up until my current bill is $338.93 as stated by Verde Energy, I got a refund/rebate of $131.22. This leaves me with a balance of $207.71, out of this, verde is suggesting an additional $129.12 should have been part of my [redacted] bills if they had not been added to my account. So I am assuming that's what I am owing [redacted] without them. I am still left with a balance of $78.59 from the $207.71 after taking out the extra bill that should have come from ***. What happens to this outstanding $78.59 that should and never would have been on my bill if Verde had told me they were coming on my account to add extra charges monthly for the same service [redacted] was providing me for way less! Will you Karen M***y pay this kind of bill? Is this a fair and logical deal in any sensible way of looking at it???? Sincerely, [redacted] ***
