Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: What Karen m [redacted] has laid out here only shows how fraudulent this company isMy April bill reads thus; Current [redacted] -Gas $Current [redacted] - Electric $Verde Energy USA, IncGas Charges $which make my total bill for April $ Last month's bill(March) was much higher because both gas and electric charges were added by Verde Energy in addition to [redacted] separate charges: [redacted] gas 39.38, [redacted] electric, 18.77; Verde Gas is 41.53, while their electric is totaling $153.64!! My October bill from [redacted] alone for both gas and electric was just $before Verde was added to my account so why would I prefer to pay $monthly for the same service costing $70.53?? So this is not a case of what the difference is between [redacted] charges and Verde Energy! Both charges have been plied on my account since February and the extra charges added onto my account by Verde is in excess of $Their rebate of $does not pay all of this, who pays the balance? Furthermore, I did not receive the check for $from themWhatever Karen is trying to say here does not cover the difference that will still be remaining on my bill from their company charges after their checks have been used towards this outrageous debt!!!! What I am asking is for the whole debt added onto my account by Verde Energy be taken care of by them since what they told me about saving cost on my bill from [redacted] was not what they delivered Sincerely, [redacted] ***

MsJaniszewski was enrolled under a monthly variable rate offer which can change with market conditions Her initial rate with Verde Energy in March was $0.0854/KWH which was lower than with her prior supplier Rescom As a goodwill gesture, we are issuing a billing refund check totaling $which represents the difference between the rate charged on her last two bills with Verde versus the $0.0999/KWH she could have received if she switched to our month fixed rate offer which is posted on our web site She will receive the check within weeks This should resolve this inquiry

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: Verde Energy should have never called my mother to solicit business as she is on the Federal No Call ListI know this because I put her phone number on the listI listened to the "Robo Call" that was made to her phoneMy mom is years old and has dementia and has no idea of what was happening nor does she even remember receiving the callThis is the reason I put her UNLISTED phone number on the no call list; to prevent these predators from taking advantage of herObviously, Verde Energy thinks they can make this go away by attempting to pacify us with a small refundIf they had no guilt they never would have made this offerI expect a full refund from Verde Energy going back to March of If this does not happen I will take legal action with the Connecticut Deptof Consumer Protection for Verde's ignoring the "No Call Law" and I will report this to the local TV troubleshooters to expose Verde's illegal & unethecal practices Sincerely, Robert Tomlin
