Vivint Solar Reviews (2526)

I have taken the time to read all the responses from Vivint.
All the same, they checked and everything is the customers fault. Tell me Vivint Sunrun, if your never wrong why are there so many law suits filed against you. There’s nothing wrong with these panels, take them off the house and resell them to another sucker like me.

Still lying about everything. They have nothing to fix this. I want it all off my house.
I read below what Vivint have told other customers. Told me the same. Not caring about anyone. Someone who can tell us how to go about getting this crap taken off my roof. It’s useless.

Nothing but bad issues from the beginning of signing contract.
My wife and family we’re tricked into this poor Solar company. Vivint Solar ( Sunrun ) company. From day one, nothing we were told was the truth. The salesman promised us a 500 dollar sign up bonus. NEVER HAPPENED. Promised system would cut my power bill in half or less. NEVER HAPPENED. This kid even promised me a Vivint Solar wrist watch. NEVER HAPPENED. He lied to us and then we were told he was fired. Little did we know this was just the beginning of a long relationship with a company that’s main interest is screwing the people they convince they will save you money. That’s not true. Vivint Solar ( Sunrun ) company from day one nothing we were told was the truth. Little did we know this was just the beginning of a long terrible relationship with a company the does not care about anything or anybody. I have kept most of the names I have contacted. Did not return any of my calls. Nothing has been fixed and I’m still paying the power company, National Grid, Vivint, Sunrun, more than I originally paid. Sunrun says it’s the power companies fault, not true. Even from day one installation was terrible. Insulation town down and never replaced. Electrical outlets left wide open with wires hanging. No one ever showed up to fix anything. I can go on and on but for know, let it be known this is the very worst thing a home owner could do to there home. It’s been years and no one will return and of my calls. Nothing but lies. I have names and Vivint Sunrun contacts at request. I am told almost every state has a class action law suit. I’m not surprised. district manager came to my home with 4 other technicians. They all agreed there was not enough panels. They came months later with more panels. Did not even make a difference. I want these panels taken off my roof. They send me two bills and said I ordered another system. They did this, not me. Please anyone who can help my wife and I. We are seniors and can’t get this solor company to help us. We have met with them, nothing gets fixed. Nothing has been resolved. Vivint Sunrun does not care. They won’t even return my calls. This is just a little of what we have gone threw. Please take these panels off my house. They don’t work and company don’t care about anything.

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me with a conditional signature as described in my contractual response Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The salesman from Vivint, showed the customer a laminated sheet that had Vivint Solar and the local utility providers information on it which he used to sell the customer the solar systemThe information on this sheet said that vivint had worked with local utility provider and the customer regardless of which plan or on-peak and off-peak hours, that they (vivint) would notify the utility company of the installation and that as part of this process vivint solar would notify the utility company that they needed to credit the customers account for the off-peak hours when the customer and his family are inside the residenceThis has not occurred and in the eyes of the customer is a very deceptive sales tactic, as well as the fact that the salesperson and the salesperson's manager have not commented or returned calls from the customerThe customer has since found out the salesperson has left the companyCustomer is requesting that vivint solar follow through with the utility company to ensure that the customers solar production credits are being credited to customers account for both on-peak and off-peak hours, as was promised by the Vivint solar salesperson Sincerely, [redacted] ***

? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: they have not given me a concrete solution to the problem they have caused? When they come out and correct the health issue they caused? This complaint will remain open and only satisfied once vivint solar fixed the issue at vivint expense Sincerely, [redacted]

This customer's main complaint is based on an apparent misunderstanding of the filing Vivint Solar records in county records to give public notice of Vivint Solar's ownership of the solar energy system That filing is not a lien or security interest in the customer's home Vivint Solar continues to work with the customer and her attorney in an attempt to clarify this misunderstanding Vivint Solar takes all customer complaints seriously and works to address them as expeditiously as possible The customer is party to a power purchase agreement with Vivint Solar which can be terminated only under specified conditions, such as an uncured default by the companyThis customer has not identified any basis to terminate the agreementVivint Solar has fulfilled its duties under the agreement

Vivint Solar has been able to obtain an estimate from a third party contractor for repairs to the customer's home Vivint Solar has approved the repairs to take place The customer and the contractor are in communication to schedule a time to make the repairs to the home

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Okay, I have from the beginning to work this out and it took vivint over months to get back with a buy out agreement and at that time have exhausted all options to come to an agreement, and for another months following was illegally withdrawing funds from my account which I had my bank do an investigation and found out it was true and is working to get those funds, I ask you isn't that fraud? Then last month one of their customer rep gets a hold of me and tells me that the new owner wants the solar removed and it has been taking off and out into storage which he could notndisclose at the time? Then he also said that I went into default and will keep taking money out of my account until case is close? An illegal transaction that my bank has proof that it happen. Now vivint is saying that ir is still on the roof and wants to negotiate? Would you would work with a company who has been dishonest, committed illegal actions and is not being up front with all of their terms? No one would work with a company who is so deceiving and disloyal to their customers! I mean to say I am in default and will be sent to a collection agency to you still have a chance on a buyout really has me confused and very much not want trust a company who can't even have their facts correct in their own corporate officeThe really frustrating and disappointing thing is the withdrawal of my funds without any authorization which I have my bank once again looking into it! Thanks [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: nothing has been resolved and will not accept vivint terms and I will continue to submit complaints until resolved with this institution and orhers I will be seaking other ways to resolve this issue because this is taking us nowere Sincerely, [redacted]
