Re: *** ***
Hello ***, I apologize for the delayed response. I had three dealerships I was waiting to received repair orders from so I could thoroughly review this claim. Please share the following response with the customer: Dear ***
***: Volkswagen has reviewed your complaint from the Revdex.com. We apologize you feel you are unable to trayour *** for a reasonable value. Please know that Volkswagen continues to work toward a remedy of the *** emissions issue. We greatly appreciate your patience during this timeframe. Once a remedy is in place, Volkswagen will be in touch with owners of the relevant vehicles. In the interim, please note that on September 18, 2015, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) stated the emissions issues “do not present a safety hazard and the cars remain legal to drive and resell.” Laura S.Customer Resolution and RetentionArbitration Specialist

I am rejecting this response because:I have still yet to receive an explanation as to why the required vehicle prior history form was not properly presented to my wife and I on the date of the vehicle’s purchase This reinforces my reasoning that it was done purposely in order to inflate the vehicle’s attractiveness and price, and was withheld intentionally and fraudulently As a result of this deceptive practice, we paid upwards of twenty percent over the true value of the vehicle, causing a loss of thousands of dollarsI have found Volkswagen’s response to this situation appalling, and am shocked that Volkswagen allows their dealerships to operate so recklessly and not holding them accountable for anything

I am rejecting this response because:
The explanation from VW makes no sense.
The manufacturer is VW itself - VW is billing me for unfair and deceptive charges
I need help resolving this as the business is not working with me I turned this
Vehicle in because it wasn't large enough for my family and the dealer couldn't help meNow I'm being billed all these ridiculous charges

I am rejecting this response because:There has been incidents in newer model vehiclesPlease see the this article, https://consumerist.com/2015/08/18/exploding-airbag-in-volkswagen-under-investig... , of which incident you are already aware of Your response time is convenient in that you choose to take weeks to respond knowing my lease is coming close to its endBe assured I am requiring back payment for all lease payments beyond the date of filing this complaintIf for some reason I am injured by your airbag in an accident you can also be assured that you will be held accountable in a court of law, and the consequences of waiting till its too late will be grave for youYour generic response to my complaint is both disrespectful and a slap to my faceSpeak to me as a human, not a number in a systemMy request is still the same: back payments for my lease from the time of filing this complaint as well as buying out my lease as of today.

***:After reviewing this case, we have found that there is not a manufacturer's defect in dispute at this time. The customer purchased a vehicle without an option he later found out about and we are unable to retrofit the vehicle. It was available on a different trim level than
what the customer selected that needed to be selected when the vehicle was purchased Thanks!

I am rejecting this response because:
I have tried to contact the support team every single day since the car was taken from meThey do not answer their phones and if they do the person on the other line hangs up on me or connects me to a different person where I sit on hold until the line gets terminatedWhen I try to contact them via message the wait time is so long that the website logs me out before I can talk to anyoneI have been as patient as I possibly can be, it has now been months since the claim was opened and has been days since my car was taken from me which I am still expected to make payments on even though I do not have the car anymoreThis is my last effort to reach out to the company before I begin to seek legal assistance, I am trying to be civil like I stated but my patience is worn out and I cannot afford to make payments on a car that I do not own anymore
