account for the 2012 Volkswagen [redacted].The dealership contacted Volkswagen Credit, Inc. (VCI) on 7/18/2016 saying they sent a payoff check in May but it was never cashed. VCI  provided the dealership a new payoff quote.  The dealership said she would place a stop payment on the check.  On 7/25/16, the payoff was received and the account was closed.  The title was then released to the dealership.  The account was placed into a protective status to prevent any negative reporting being reported to the credit bureaus.  VCI has assured me that nothing negative has been reported to the credit bureaus.I hope you find this information helpful.  If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact Volkswagen Credit, Inc. at ###-###-####. I understand the vehicle is outside of the warranty. The problem is Volkswagen put a clutch in my car that is not acceptable for the [redacted]'s performace. They put a normal [redacted] standard clutch that is meant to handle the power of a non turbo vehicle in my car. The clutch is not meant to handle the power the [redacted] puts out. That why the clutch is burned up. This is grounds for a recall on Volkswagen.  Your efforts are too little too late. This is the second time I have now filed a complaint with the Revdex.com. I have emailed VWoA directly and you failed to respond.  You have already sent me a letter stating there is a zero balance, but your negligence has cost me a home loan and a credit card. It has been over120 days since I traded my former car in and it was to be paid off. That is roughly a third of a year. At this point, I feel it is VW's duty to remove this from my account within 15 days. I am being more than generous. I will continue to  explore all legal and social matters available to remedy this.

I am rejecting this response because: the responsibility of Volkswagen is to insure that I have a safe car to drive.  I remind them and the Revdex.com that the recall of the defective air bags state the "severe injury or death" could occur should the air bags deploy in even a minor accident.  I have not asked for instant replacement.  Rather I have asked for a loaner car to drive while waiting for replacement or suspension of the lease payments as long as the car is not useable.  Volkswagen has refused either request leaving me with the untenable option of driving a potentially deadly car or having a car parked, not drive able and continuing to pay for that undriveable car.I reject and further contest this action and will continue to warn others of Volkswagen and their callousness and disdain for their customers and their safety.  Assuredly I will never buy or lease another Volkswagen again as long as I live.  This may be posted to the public do as to warn them as well!An extremely dissatisfied former customer.[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The runaround from Volkswagen continues, briefly reviewing, the first runaround was that no recall was yet in effect despite reports of many Volkswagen breakdowns due to the transmission shifter cable by VW's trained parts specialists, the second runaround was that the service of the VW [redacted] was a reason for not repairing a broken transmission cable problem but VW has no way of showing that all the numerous complaints of the breaking transmission shifter cable were related to all the VW owners with the breakdowns not servicing their cars which is absurd, owners of [redacted], [redacted], and VW, usually have a reputable discount repair shop they take their cars to, as a [redacted] owner also, I know this to be true, in Atlanta it is [redacted] repair, In Columbus it is [redacted], in Tampa, Florida it is [redacted], etc.  There are also some tech schools that are the teachers of the dealer service techs that do repairs. I was very reasonable in asking for help with a known VW widespread defect, at this point I will also seek getting the cluth replaced by VW in addition to all the cables and related parts as I was stuck in 5th gear and had to  use it as a starting gear to get out of traffic.  Regards,
