The technician was punctual, professional and did an excellent job relative to the service provided to fulfill my claim The customer service team was also very helpful in scheduling my appointment so overall the entire experience was great!!
Purchased this paint protection from Lithia Volkswagen in Reno NV and was told it would protect my brand new car in the event of a paint issue for the contract termAlmost immediately after buying the car I noticed paint issues and called the dealer, they said call permaplate so I didAfter filing a claim I could not get a response from permaplate plate so I went back to the dealer who called them for meAt this point they said they would send someone outIt has now been a month and every time the appointment comes the “technician “ says he cannot comeNo one from permaplate will even look at the car! This is outright fraudI paid for a “warranty “ yet no one will respond to a claim!
This company offers a leather guard protection planI open a claim and the claim was denied because "poor adhesion to the surface to which the leather or vinyl has been attached." There is no way for me to know if the leather was poorly attachedThat's the most common problem with a car interior leather or vinyl but when they sell the plan they tell you that everything is coveredRead the small lettersI learned my lesson the hard wayThis company and protection plan is a total scam
On September 16, I called company to file a claimThey said I had to file the claim on-line with I did on the same day A few days later a women called asking if I filed this complaint, YES I DID, a few days later received letter damage was inconsistent with our coverage We then called them and talked to Kevin, who proceeded to refuse to even discuss the issues He told us we called it a Swirl, (which we did) and he said Swirls are not covered, read the contract Well we did and Swirl is never mentioned in the copy of the contract we have Also, we are not vehicle paint experts, we were only trying to help them understand the issue Today I would have called it a shadow or flaw in the paint We paid $extra for the color of our Colorado (Forest Green) and that is why we chose to purchase the "Appearance Protection Product Guarantee" We did not fail to in form then within days as we had told the dealership and they are the ones that told us to file the claim after

The paint chipping is in six different areas and there is no way this was caused by me or another carI've actually checked to see if another car can hit my handle in all six places and it cannotSo not only do they not honor the contract, and the warranty I was sold, they are liarsWhat was the point of purchasing
