I have a Honda Civic that I purchased in August When I purchased my car, I purchased perma plate paintguard because of the unique color and because I was told my paint would be protected for years under warrantyFast forward months and now my door handle paint is chipping in different spotsI filed a claim that was denied because they said this was not covered under warranty because the warranty doesn't cover chipping or anything else like thatWell, I disagreeIt said paint is covered under ANY environmental issues and if paint is covered due to any environmental issues, how can they claim that my paint chipping isn't due to an environmental issue? The paint chipping is in six different areas and there is no way this was caused by me or another carI've actually checked to see if another car can hit my handle in all six places and it cannotSo not only do they not honor the contract, and the warranty I was sold, they are liarsWhat was the point of purchasing

I have the Appearance Protection warranty and the claim process was very smooth, quick and easy I understand that your experience is also highly dependent on the service done by the contractor, but PermaPlate streamlined everything, and also informatively answered any of my questions over the phone

I contacted Permaplate to clean our car of insects and tree sap as part of the warranty coverageThey initially denied my claim several times and required me to have my car detailed and then send the photos of the remaining sap and insectsDuring this time they claimed that the damage was not covered by warranty (it is covered)I have made this same claim several times prior for the exact same issues and did not have any problemsThough they eventually agreed to send someone out to clean the insects and sap off the car, so much time had passed that some of the insects and the sap pretty much burned into the paint do to the sun and heatIt seems to me that after a certain point (that is, after several claims) Permaplate will try to not honor the warrantyI bought a five year warranty and discovered after a bout two years of claims that it is not likely they will come out for any additional claims I may have in the future
Extremely impressed! I have filed two claims for service on my vehicle and both times were hassle free I am thankful to receive the service that I initially paid for when purchasing my vehicle! My truck still looks new like the day I bought it Thank you PermaPlate and Staf!
