I purchased a life time rust proof warranty from Perma Plate for a Ford Escape when I purchased this vehicle new from *** *** in White Bear Lake, MN in July Now I have some rust on the passenger rear quarter panel and low and behold my claim is being denied No sales materials given to me say only certain types of rust are covered I have all materials provided to me by salesperson
I purchased a Warranty Appearance Protection with my new Mercedes vehicleThis warranty is suppose to cover the leather on the seatsI contacted the company back in March when I first noticed that there was an issueI was told at that time that someone would be getting in touch with me regarding the repairsWhen I didn't hear from anyone, I contacted the dealership that sold the product to me and was told that I needed top contact the company directlyI then recontacted the company and was told that it has been over days since the damaged was discovered and that they might not cover it nowThey sent someone out to my home to look at the damage and are now denying the claim based on the fact that more then days went by before I followwith the claimThey are stating that although I contacted on March 21, 2017, I should have follwith them within days of that date instead of waiting for someone to contact me as they told me to doThis is absolute crazy!

This is outright fraudI paid for a “warranty “ yet no one will respond to a claim!
On September 16, I called company to file a claimThey said I had to file the claim on-line with I did on the same day A few days later a women called asking if I filed this complaint, YES I DID, a few days later received letter damage was inconsistent with our coverage We then called them and talked to Kevin, who proceeded to refuse to even discuss the issues He told us we called it a Swirl, (which we did) and he said Swirls are not covered, read the contract Well we did and Swirl is never mentioned in the copy of the contract we have Also, we are not vehicle paint experts, we were only trying to help them understand the issue Today I would have called it a shadow or flaw in the paint We paid $extra for the color of our Colorado (Forest Green) and that is why we chose to purchase the "Appearance Protection Product Guarantee" We did not fail to in form then within days as we had told the dealership and they are the ones that told us to file the claim after
I am very impressed with the service provided by permanent plateMy car had tree sap all over it that wouldn't come off at the car wash which wanted $to detail it saying that was the only way to remove it I checked my permanent plate policy and found it covered tree sapThe service was provided in a very timely manner and took little time to fix the problem
The claim process was quick and easy on line The technician Malik contacted me within a few hours and made an appointment that was very convenient for me He showed up on time and did an excellent job resolving the issue I am very pleased
