PermaPlate is a total waste of money for any of their productsThe problem is that the dealership will apply PermaPlate products and you have to buy it for $or moreWhen you try to file a claim, the claim form has vague questionsAnswer any of these a "incorrectly" and PermaPlate will deny the claimIn my case, their reply was that I noticed the stains more than days; I had to report the stain within daysYet you do not receive any of these "regulations" in writing when you purchase the productAll you get is a piece of paper stating what product you purchased, the staggering price you paid, and their Website addressThe worse part is that the PermaPlate upholstery product doesn't workAny spill and it doesn't even bead the liquidsScotchGuard works much betterOption? Refuse to buy a vehicle with PermaPlate

I contacted Permaplate to clean our car of insects and tree sap as part of the warranty coverageThey initially denied my claim several times and required me to have my car detailed and then send the photos of the remaining sap and insectsDuring this time they claimed that the damage was not covered by warranty (it is covered)I have made this same claim several times prior for the exact same issues and did not have any problemsThough they eventually agreed to send someone out to clean the insects and sap off the car, so much time had passed that some of the insects and the sap pretty much burned into the paint do to the sun and heatIt seems to me that after a certain point (that is, after several claims) Permaplate will try to not honor the warrantyI bought a five year warranty and discovered after a bout two years of claims that it is not likely they will come out for any additional claims I may have in the future
The dealership that the car was transferred from installed Perma Shield on the entire car and it is full of scratches swirls and hazing all over the windowsI contacted Perma Shield to ask them how to remove this product not one single person at the company had any clue on how to remove it or how to fix it they said to contact the dealership where it was purchasedI told them the product was not wanted for the vehicle and specified no Coatings no protection plans no nothing on paint glass or interiorI have a detailer that was going to take care of it for me with the superior productI don't understand how a company can put out a product and not have any clue on how to remove it or to fix it
