To send to someone for review is appropriate but need a response within a reasonable time such as 10 days.  Thank You

The response does not offer resolution it continues with the delay experienced for some time now.

This is no response-there was no action taken and no attempt to fix the problem as usual.

Complaint has been forwarded to the appropriate claims supervisor for investigation and response.

Business has sent me a check but only for half the amount. Am not accepting check and sending back because we have not made an agreement as to the end result yet. Still desiring 100% paid by state auto because their insured is 100% at fault. On Friday they sent an email discussing a person calling from a claims service to discuss accident. No phone call yet though.

The same complaint was received from the ND Ins Dept on 12/11/14 and a response was sent to the complainant on 12/12/14.

Your follow-up letter of January 22, 2015 and the related Complaint file by [redacted],has been forwarded to my attention.We appreciate the position of the Revdex.com and its willingness to assist in theresolution of disputes with consumers, however, this is not a dispute about business process, practice orprocedure; this is a dispute between Mr. [redacted] and State Auto over whether the type of damage theyare claiming was proximately caused by wind or some other condition. As such, this is a "coverage"issue which, with all due respect, is likely not within the expertise of the Revdex.com.Lastly, while we recognize and are sensitive to the concerns of our insured, State Auto also hascertain fiduciary obligations which include the duty of privacy. Commenting further on the merits of thisdispute, risks not only inconsistent conclusions in differing jurisdictions, but an additional complaint byan insured that we have violated our duty of privacy.State Auto's position has been set forth in its follow-up response directly to Mr. [redacted]. Ifadditional information becomes known to us that would warrant our revaluating our position, we will,as always, be willing to do so. Complaint has been forwarded to the appropriate claims manager for a response.  FYI......we received this complaint from the OH DOI on 11/12/14 and a response was sent to the DOI.

like I told the claims supervisor I feel this was stealing I have contacted the dealership and I'm waiting for the man to talk to them to get back to me so as far as it stands right now I want this complaint kept on file

It does not solve the issue. The claims team has not helped in the five months I've been trying to figure this out. And the claims team does not respond or send messages in a timely manner.

I understand that the claims team is currently working with Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] to reach a resolution.

Company has sent me a check for 50% and said this is the final answer. I am not satisfied, I am very angry, and I feel like if the situation was flipped and their insured had been hit by me they would have found favor with my side. This company has no integrity and I will make sure to spread the word to every young friend I know who is looking for auto insurance both on social media and in my personal life. To them this case is closed, and I guess there is nothing more I can do. But I am not satisfied. Terrible company.

I am writing in response to Mr. [redacted]’s inquiry. The above policy was purchased on 11/21/17 with an effective date of 12/7/17. State Auto requires payment at the time of purchase and a payment of $4,500.97 was...

applied to the credit card entered on the policy.The policy was flat cancelled on 11/28/17 and the $4,494.97 was released back to the customer’s credit card on 11/29/17. There can be a few days lag time between banks before the funds appear back on the customers card.The difference of $6.00 is from an Automobile Burglary and Theft Prevention Authority Fee that is charged by the state of TX not State Auto. Because the policy was flat canceled that fee has also been waived and an additional refund of $6.00 is being sent to the insured’s credit card tomorrow.
