We were not aware of the probelm until receiving this complaint, however we have already spoken to the customer refunded the depositWe are
very sorry for any inonvenience this may have caused

We signed a contract on May 3, for vinyl replacement windows and patio doorWe were told windows would be ready in 4-weeksAfter not hearing from them I called to check status, we were told windows would be ready on Aug 1, almost weeks later then promised We could not be scheduled for install until 9-2/Windows were installed in days as promised, however were delivered and installed with many defects, such as different colored handles and locks on windows, most of the screens were not metered correctly at all corners, one was missing a spring which made it not fit properly, many areas where the vinyl was peeling, lots of scratches which had to be touched up, plugs which covered screws were not color matched and some of them did not even stay in hole, windows had part of the outside aluminum corner missing, the patio door had two small holes to the outside, the weather striping was missingThe only defect that was mentioned to us before the install was the fact that handles and locks were two different colors, but could easily switched after install After the installers left after first day with all the interior work was done we very carefully inspected every window and the patio door and found all these defectsWe complained immediately and were told they would send a window tech out to fix all our issuesThey set up appointments to take care of this and cancelled both of themAfter many constant calls, speaking to different customer service reps, they sent out a person to fix our issuesThis person had to come out twice because there were so many issues to fix He took care of most but fixed the patio door incorrectly, so we had to make many more calls to get them to come back to fix this very cheap quality door, they were trying to tell us that there was nothing wrong with it but we knew better and withheld our final payment until were were satisfiedAt the end of October we finally had another tech come out and he told us the last gut repaired it wrongFrom start to finish we were at almost months before we finally had our issues taken care of and after all of this still did not feel we got the quality windows and door that we were promised We could not believe that the windows could come out of the warehouse with so many defects, no quality control at this place and it makes you wonder if the windows were actually built with all the energy features that they promisedThey did take care of all of our concerns but only after many phone calls, dealing with different people, and much persistenceI would not recommend them due to this reason

I feel that finally after placing this complaint to the Revdex.com I was treated fairly to where service request and repairs were taken care of with priority and constant contact was establishedI think that only due to this complaint being placed did the company now decide that my needs and value as a customer became a priority and the after a little negotiation I feel that the terms we agreed to are fairHowever I won't feel that this complaint has been fully resolved until I receive the second refund check that I was promised in order to close this complaint

I just have worst experience with Window Works ENorth Frontage RdBolingbrook , IL *** I just call to get estimate to replace the windows in my house just to set up appointment have to talk with two different people Than sales men show up I told I do need estimate and what payment plan they have in minutes was not able to get any numbers , what wasting off my time , he was keep telling me I'm here to help you I said I just need the estimate not two hours companies history to heard Also saw online that they should give you $ restaurant gift card just for scheduling appointment for estimate , but never received such a thing ! Would not recommend to anyone , such off wasting off time !!!!!!!!!!

Windowworks spoke to this customer and gave him a discount for his dissatisfaction with regard to the serviceAlso, we are going to the customers house on December 4th to service his patio doorThe customer stated that we satisfied this complaint

The only reason the company finally finished the work was due to your intervention. Thank you so very much! *** ***

We are very pleased with our total experience with Window Works They understood that quick installation was of the essence Through out the process there was a lot of support from several people at the company Windows arrived as promised and are beautiful The tear out of the metal windows and installation, including the oversize living room window, was handled very professionally The windows look wonderful and we have received many compliments

We signed a contract on August 28, for all new windows in our house plus a new front doorThe contract states it should take 5-weeks before work is completedWe are now going on weeks with no installation date in sightI never would have gone with Window Works had I known it would take this LONGNow we are headed into the holidays and cold weather...not a great time for installation of new windowsI would like to get our down payment back and go with new company for windowsSO DISAPPOINTED!!!

Windowworks has installed Mr***'s door and he has signed a form which states that he is completely satisfiedWe finished the installation 2/24/

Window Works was recommended to me by a few neighbors, along with few other companiesAfter Mike H from Window Works came to our house we felt like they were the right company to go with based on the quality of window products to the way customers are treatedCommunication from Window Works is extremely good and they finished our window install ahead of scheduleThe installation crew was quick precise, friendly and very clean, we couldn't be happier

We visited the customer's home todayWe performed the same demonstration as we had on the initial sales call using the windows we had
installed in the customer's home as the test subjectThe customer acknowledged that the results were identical to the results attained in the original demonstration
Additionally, we observed that the "cheaper" windows (installed by others) he referred to in the complaint, operated poorly, had gaps and even allowed light and air to infiltrate into the homeHe acknowledged that our windows had no such issues
We also tested the temperature of the walls and both of the windows and determined that again our window was performing as promised
The customer then went on to complain that he found the walls in the room to be coldWe explained that we cannot be responsible for the performance of the insulation in his walls
We can find no issues with the product we installedThe customer acknowledges all of the above points but seems unwilling to consider the situation resolvedWe don't know what to do at this point

The products and experience are extraordinaryThey delivered what they promised on time at a reasonable priceThe installation crew was prompt, courteous, quiet and cleanI'm convinced that these windows were a bargain

Windowworks spoke to the customer with regard to her complaintsWe remade her window and sent her a check for $for her inconvenience

My experience with Window Works was a completely positive one The workers were professional and efficient They arrived on time, worked diligently, and cleaned up after themselves They seemed genuinely happy and proud of the work they were doing At they end they explained how the windows operated and the ease in cleaning that would be involved I heartily recommend this company to everyone

I wouldnt even give this company star unfortuantely this is not an optionStay as far away from this company as possibleIm sure someone will delete this email so it is not on the company website, but dont worry it will be posted everywhere! You might as well take your money and throw it down the toliet bowl because they provide a horrible product (definately not one that is presented), bad customer service, instillation terrible (especially if you want to spend hours fixing their problems yourself)You;ll regret spending all this moneyRead the reviews- I regret not doing this prior to signing a contract
We had -year old wood rotting windows replaced that still looked better than the product we just had installed

Product! They show you this great product during your appointment, but when it arrives there are multiple problems with the productI couldve done a better job manufacturing the product myselfagain you call and complain and it seems as no one caresThe day the windows were installed I had mesh coming apart, scratches, window latches broken, the latches are cheap and hard to open and close the windows (not smooth how you would expect with new windows)...ect the list goes on and on and who the hell knows when it will be replaced
Trim paintingWe paid extra $ to have our windows/trim paintedNo one called to schedule an appointment so our windows look horrible, I was told that days someone was going to call to schedule an appointmentstill waiting
InstillationI dont even know where to startThey come in and out of your house without wearing shoe covering so your spent hours after they leaving vacuuming and moping the floorIt felt as if they rushed through the instillation process just to be done and go homeThe finished product was messy and not professionally doneI dont know where they found these peopleDamaged all of our dry wall around the windows after walls receiving fresh paintI wish I had pictures I could postAgain my husband is going to spend money and his weekend caulking windows and fixing walls from the damage they did
PLEASE DONT USE ANOTHER COMPANYYOU'LL REGRET IT

I have used Window Works for of my propertiesI installed windows in and in Winter of All windows are good quality and engery efficient and also want to mention they installers these guys have been sending are very professional !! you guys are doing a great jobI look forward for getting more windows installed by you

I have not even had the windows installed yet and I have nothing but mis truths being told to me I am told to weeks and I will have my new windows but that is not the case They were to have been installed today and the called be yesterday to confirm So we prepared the areas as they suggested and took off work to meet them and we get a call at 9am (when they were to be at my house installing the windows) telling me that they had to cancel the installation due to the fact that they dont have the windows from the vendor I was told that they manufacture these windows themselves
I have a hard time doing business with a company that just does not seem how to tell the truth and not lead customers onI have gotten many different variations of the truth from multiple employees from salesman, managers
I will never recommend or encourage anyone to do business with window works it just not worth the lies they tell
