I had a real problem with my air conditioner, I have COPD and my little dog has a breathing problem After contacting my home warranty company and they couldn't find a contractor to help me, I called Woolfin, explained my problem I received a courteous response to my problem with the lady in the office and my air conditioner was repaired by noon with a cost that I found very reasonable

Patrick asked me to write review, but everyone I dealt with was courteous and patient with me as I was dealing with a stressful situation Patrick did the finish of the projectHe was efficient and thoroughHe outlined in a clear manner exactly what he was doing and why as I took notesOur experience was positive throughout as we determined generator location and the least intrusive pipe placement as I have a small city garden Bryan D*** was especially thoughtful and considerate as we were dealing with a significant health issueAlso Nina was very helpful with scheduling...that was my only issue..coordination between city inspectors and workmenAll in all a positive initial experience

My AC system is getting older and it seemed rather apparent that it needed to be charged This happened several years back, and of course, each company I called said I must change out the entire system Nearly all tried to sell me a new system before they saw the system that has continued to work fine over the last three years, with a charge I dreaded making this callAbdul arrived shortly after my call He took the time to explain what he thought needed to be done to get my system performing at its best When I questioned one item on the list he explained in depth, why what I thought was an up-sell, was really part of what was needed He could not have been more pleasantWoodfin happened to be a company that tried to sell me a service contract last time, before they even demonstrated any value I had avoided using them this time for that reason Abdul made changed my impression, I would call Woodfin again in a second and wait until Abdul was available to assist me with my needs

Our furnace stopped working during the coldest week in the winter We called Woodfin and they responded the same day They diagnosed the problem as a faulty thermostat They were able to replace the thermostat within two days We are now comfy, cozy for the Christmas Holidays The repairman, James, was extremely polite He demonstrated the new thermostat and gave me some extra tips on keeping the system working He was also very efficient Also, the initial repairman, ChrisD was very helpful and efficient I am glad we have this company helping us

Patrick Marrived on time, and did an excellent job He is pleasant and polite He knows what he is doing, and is good at explaining to the customer about work being done I would always recommend Woodfin

This is our second visit with Jesse H*** (209) He is beyond fantastic and very knowledgeable He found a major problem with an outside electrical line that cause an electricity outage in our hose He had to come back because the job would require another technician and materials I cannot tell you what a rough job this was, yet he had a smile of his face and never gave up We were 100% pleased with his service and personality He re***y interacted with us and this is extremely important to us Hats off to Jesse - he is the BEST Anyone can contact us for a recommendation

Excellent service today Harley did annual maintenance to both our oil furnace and A/C, covered everything meticulously, was a cheerful young man and we would rate the service excellent

I want to acknowledge the professionalism and expertise of the service technician, Adam G*** at Woodfin in Richmond, VirginiaWe purchased a stand-alone wall mounted LG heater/air conditioner several years ago from WoodfinIt did a great job regulating the temperature in our attached garage/game roomUnfortunately, it was "running hot" and Woodfin instructed us that we would need to replace several sensors at around $given we were outside of the year warrantyThey came back and after several hours informed us there would be no additional charge, even after installing the sensorsThey spent significant time on the phone with the LG technicians and learned that the unit will run across a +/- degree range given the setting from the remote unitThey were informed and told us that this is how the unit "runs"...and the reason why they would not charge us for the sensors they orderedThey did offer a solution for an added thermostat if we wanted to lock down a single temperatureWhat we found impressive is that they acknowledged that we should not pay for a part that did not fix the "issue" and they said there would be no charge for the hours today beyond the $charge we paid for the first visitFinally when offered repeatedly to tip the technician for his time, he said that would not be necessaryService and professionalism such as this if far too rare, and we wanted to take the time to acknowledge Woodfin, and Adam G*** for his expertiseWoodfin should consider itself fortunate to have an employee of Adam's caliber in their employ

Woodfin called and let us know when to expect them The tech was very polite Because of rain, he put on boot covers He was very thorough with his work and even fixed a radiator that hadn't worked for a long time

My experience with Jesse H*** and Woodfin was exceptional They were able to come within a very short time and Jesse was extremely helpful and courteous to me I learned alot and he was more than willing to help with all my questions He was a pleasure to work with and I would DEFINITELY use Woodfin again

Water was pouring from a blown valveCalled Woodfin before hours open and they sent a technician from homeHe was here within minutesRobert A # replaced defective valves and blown toilet assembly first so he could pressure test the waterIt turned out that the main problem the pressure valve on the water tank.He fixed that..He was greatNow I have to finish cleaning up the water because I couldn't shut off the water, until I remembered to shut the electricity off to the water pump (have my own well)
