I am a long-time fan of Woodfin Heating, Inc I use this firm for heating, plumbing, and general information on hunting and fishing as most of the workers are outdoors peopleThis weekend Woodfin came to my house to make sure that the air-conditioning was in good operating condition The young man's name was Chris I don't remember him coming to my home initially; however, he told me that he helped to install the original equipment because his "name" was written on the "tag" to the machine!!!! I know how proud one can be to see your "autograph" on something you did so long ago I say whatever he did then when he came to my house with his "teacher" I have never had a problem Hey, that's like most of The Woodfin Team even the ladies who work there and I met some at the "Home Show." So Woodfin Heating, Inc-- whatever you are doing to teach your staff the ins/outs, I commend youPS The same day Chris was at my house, my neighbor had your competitor ( [redacted] ***) fixing his air-condition unit Chris left my house several hours before my neighbor's house was done (also air-conditioning) Thank you for having a great team!
This was my second problem in about a month Eric investigate the problem and was able to troubleshoot it while explaining what he was doing and confirming his a This was done in a single visit and a trip to obtain parts He removed and replaced.parts and then tested the systemIn addition he adjusted the temperature set point to allow a more efficient use of the system as we employ it
Yesterday 1/4/was the coldest day thus far this heating season When I woke up it was cold in the house so I called Woodfin, my fuel oil provider The lady that answered the phone was very polite, explained that she could not give me an exact time but that a tech would be out today Mike the service called me a bit later and said that he would be there in about minutes...and he was He came in, introduced himself and began to check out the boiler He went about his work quickly but took the time to make sure that he had found the problem He cleaned up after himself, thanked me for choosing Woodfin and thanked me for my business Thank YOU, Mike
Woodfin installed a backup generator at my home and did it in a very prompt and professional manner The quality and neatness of the finished work was excellent
[redacted] worked at my home all day digging a trench, installing electric cable and two metal yard poles with new fixtures on top as well as installing two new porch light fixturesThey worked hard to get everything working and looking greatThey cleaned up all their messI am happy with their work and would recommend them and Woodfin to do electrical work for me again

We had a full house generator installed The gentleman with Woodfin that came back to put more dirt in the trench did a very good job Originally the trench was not fully filled and was a safety hazard Brandon & Stephen came back and completed the jobOverall, I'm still working out a few things with Woodfin My experience has been rocky and I have received incorrect messages along the way Everyone is very polite but things have dragged out I still have cables that were cut and no one seems to want to fix the problem even though I was told if we cut any cables or wires we will fix them This has not happened I feel like there is a lack of communication between all of the departments involved in or at least lack of communication with me as the customer I still have expectations that the remaining items will be corrected soon Once everything is completed, then I will feel more positive about working with Woodfin

Woodfin sent technicians to evaluate our home systems at no cost to us as new customers A plumber, electrican, and an HVAC technician each came I was extremely pleased with each of them - the courtesy, professionalism, and knowledge that each had about his field of expertise They made recommendations, but never did I feel pressure to follow up with any of them We were due for service checks and tune-ups on the HVAC systems, which were carried out quite satisfactorily We have been customers of Atlantic Heating and Oil, but they were recently taken over by Woodfin, which is why they made the transition for us to them in this manner I couldn't be more pleased - and, now we have plumbing and electric professionals that I wouldn't hesitate to call on when we need one!
