Our school signed up in with Worldstrides for a trip to *** ***, we were offered the opportunity to sign up for a cancellation fee and could cancel for any reason Well, I called to cancel and was told I would get a refund in a voucher good for trips years in teh future I supposedly signed off on this and yet it is not found anywhere on their website nor in the information handed out to teachers or told to parents They pressured us to sign up to get a discount on the trip so we had to rush home or sign up the night of theparent meeting on small computers In addition the teacher was instructed to tell the kids all about the trip and then give their parents a sealed envelope with the pricing, so of course we would support our child to work hard for a trip like this We didn't see the price till they had told us all about the trip Now I'm stuck with a voucher that I have to find someone to sell it to who is going to take a trip in year the Revdex.com should look into th

I would like to state that I was a chaperone with my stepson for the trip to *** ** in June I was informed throughout the process that since the co-chaperone and I were going that we would receive a price discount It was never really clear how much or how items were deducted throughout the process, but we just continued to work assuming all would be fine in the end
In March, as a chaperone, I was first told to wait to pay for the trip until all discounts had been deducted After waiting to pay, I received an email in April stating that both my trip and my son's trip had been cancelled due to a lack of payment I called Worldstrides and was told that my bill must be paid in full before departure(this was different than what I was originally told) During that conversation and in the original Worldstrides documentation, it was stated that NO STUDENT MAY GO ON THE TRIP UNTIL ALL PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE I promptly paid for my son and I IN FULL and was assured

I paid for my son to take a trip to DC four four daysIt was an Inauguration trip#1) they never made it to the Inauguration, there tour guide had them walking outside the inauguration for over hrAll the other tour guides got there group in just fineBut to walk my child around violent riots is very unsafeIt's very upsetting he missed the Inauguration which is what the trip was sold on! #2) she left them more than once and had to be called to come backIt clearly states that there tour guide will be with them the whole time#3) they claim to provide a safe environmentBut they took my son by riots, and Right through female protestingThis is not what I paid forHe saw women with *** hats on and signs that stayed "don't grab it eat it"

I have paid a total of $in payments for the trip my daughter and me were going to go on in June I had to cancel because of work obligations They say I am only getting $in refund I would like to get the total of $in payments I paid in to this company I have reviewed other complaints with the Revdex.com and people are having the problems I am I feel very cheated because when I talked to these people and stated I have the full refund program they said I am only getting partial refund because of so called fees that I new nothing aboutThey are misleading people with the lure of full refund and only refunding partialI feel like we have been scammed and we were paying way too much for the trip

I recently sent a certified letter to your company in regards to my account numbers *** & ***...you guys were given days to respond from receipt of my letter and I have yet to receive a response...I have taken this matter further by contacting the *** *** *** School Board, *** Elementary School and the Revdex.com...I am hoping to have this matter resolved in the near future Otherwise, I will proceed further with civil action

We signed our son up for a trip with Worldstrides to travel to Paris with a group from his school Unfortunately, we had to cancel the trip when my son was suddenly unable to attend Though we purchased the trip reimbursement insurance, we were told that it was impossible to grant us a full refund because the company had already purchased admission to events totaling nearly one-third of the trip's cost Additionally, we were told that an additional $1,of the trip's cost could only be refunded in the form of a voucher on future travel Unlike the "prepaid cost" issue above, this provision was located in the fine print of the travel agreement, though it was very poorly disclosed when we signed up In summary, nearly 3/4th of the trip cost either could not be refunded or could only be refunded in the form of a travel voucher we are not likely to ever be able to useI recommend parents and schools stay away from this company as they showed no regard for our concerns whatsoever when we contacted their customer service Additionally, they lead you to believe that by purchasing the travel insurance when you initially sign up (which is often way in advance) you can make changes if your circumstances change This was a lie and we lost a lot of money by trusting this corrupt company

I would never choose to do business with this companyI have received countless phone calls asking me to call DEBBIE Y***When I returned the first call (not knowing what the call was in reference to since they did not state a company name or reason for calling), the person (not Debbie Y***) explained what the company was and what they were offeringI told her that I already work with another travel company and I have been very happy with their services so I would not be working with any other companiesI was told that my name would be taken off the listIt wasn'tI have been called countless times this yearOften voicemail's are left requesting that I call Debbie Y*** with a phone number (which changes)I no longer return these voicemail'sIf they happen to catch me at my desk, I have answered the phone in an effort to make the phone calls stopIt never worksThe calls are always made by an "assistant" who apologizes and says my name will be removed, yet I continue to receive calls multiple times per weekToday, I answeredA young man placed me on hold for Debbie Y***I thought I finally had my chance! After waiting on hold for several minutes (I only waited because I am desperate for these calls to stop) the same young man came back on the line telling me that Debbie Y*** isn't available! What??? You called me!! I am beyond frustrated!
I would never choose to do business with a company that harasses people in this wayI certainly wouldn't subject my students families to such a company!

Awful representation of a possibly wonderful companyA super pushy representative named LUCY MAKIN kept calling me at work to try and get me to book a trip with themWhen I told her that I was part of a different travel organization and that I wasn't sure who else at my job would be interested in leading a group such as this, she made a snark comment back and hung up on meI would never, because of her disrespectful first impression, even think about dealing with such a company

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowWorld Strides says that they are keeping my $deposit and charging me for a $"Insurance Plan" and said they would refund only $out of the $paid in for this trip Meaning they are keeping $for doing nothingThey provided me with no copy of the legal contract when I signed up online, and the only verbiage on their website regarding cancellation states: "Upon cancellation of the transportation or travel services, where you, the customer, are not at fault and have not canceled in violation of the terms and conditions, if any, of the contract for transportation or travel services, all sums paid to WorldStrides for services not received by you will be promptly refunded by WorldStrides to you unless you otherwise advise WorldStrides in writing."
I will only be satisfied when I receive a full refund for services they are no longer providing to usThis cancellation had absolutely nothing to do with us as the client cancellingThis was cancelled by the school system who contracted World Strides to provide a serviceWe did not contract them, nor did we sign up for a $"Cancellation Protection", because their website clearly states that we get a "FULL" refund if WE, as the "CUSTOMER" are not at fault for the cancellation.

I have paid for a trip to Washington, D.C with my daughters classThis company makes it sound so easy and convenient to make payments, do not be misledThe process of signing each of us up and combining our trips was ridiculousIt is made to sound like as long as the trip is paid for by the deadline then that is all that matters, when in fact you will be paying a late fee each time your installment isn't exactly on time ($15) AND a fee for paying online ($6)Also if you want to be in a room with just you and your child you will pay a fee for your child and a fee for yourself, in my case it cost an extra $for us to be assigned a room togetherHere's the main kicker, when I went to the parent meeting we were given a registration deadline, you have until that day to make payment arrangements or pay in fullSo I registered and decided I would just pay whatever I could every month to help get the balance down and pay it in full when I got my taxesIn January, ( two months before the deadline the harassment started, I told them I had planned to pay in full with my taxes but the representative that answered DEMANDED a large sum that dayFinally the calls slowed down and the emails started, I replied to one letting them know what my plan was and at that point I was planning on just telling them to shove itbut I actually got a very quick and courteous response from a rep who did in fact put the cancellation of my trip on holdThe trip is now completely paid in full, however today is the day that I found out about the extra room fees
