Charge late fee if payment not made on their due dateThen when you pay with credit or debit card they charge a *** feeNot to mention want trip paid in full MONTHS before departureThey only offer to weeks between payment due datesTotally unacceptable

I signed my daughter and myself to go on a trip June and we ended up having some financial hardships and had to cancel our tripWhen we signed up for the trip we did the insurance for a full refund if we could not attendI know that we do not get the insurance money back but when I contacted them they sent me an invoice somehow showing they don't owe us anything I have contacted them numerous times and the last email was suppose to be forwarded in to a supervisor and I have never heard backThe insurance I feel is a scam to get more money out of you because if you cancel they refuse to give the refundI told them I would have been better off just paying the deposit of $** and nothing else but I was under the impression if we couldn't go we would get the refundWe had two accounts as both are owed a refund when I asked for a copy of the other account they never sent it and their system will not let me access it
Thank you

This company is very deceiving Read the fine print! If you decide to make any payment arrangements check your account constantly It would be best to pay in full up front They are not clear on payment dates and then they charge $late fees but your next statement will not show this The first payment was due on the 25th of a month, but the next payment was due on the 1st (days later) I will never use them again!!!

paid in full $child to go on DC for my trip
date for trip 5/27/ - 5/31/
was told in meeting before trip that worldstrides was not paying for meals due to being a smaller group
sent money with my child for meals
g was ever said about $extra
6/15/got a bill from worldstrides that said due to traveling with under now owe and $
called worldstrides got the typical run around, and a employee said fine don't pay we will just put it on your credit report
this is a bad company with way to many Revdex.com complints, I refuse to pay more money after the trip is done and over, had to pay all meals due to traveling with under 30, nothing was ever said about extra $bill after the trip

I signed my son up for a trip to Washington DC which was originally scheduled for June The school did not have enough people signed up, so without asking permission, they rescheduled the trip for June However, we are moving and my son will not be able to go on the trip in June Despite this, the school refused to address my concerns and neither did Worldstrides They allegedly issued a refund, minus a $deposit, $for joining the full refund program, and a $handling fee (which I never was charged until the account switched over due to the rescheduling) I expected only the $to be retained because that is the only portion they advertised as "non-refundable" I had individuals donate to my son's trip and there is barely enough of a refund to reimburse their payments
Furthermore, I received confirmation of my cancellation on January 14, and Worldstrides stated my refund would be processed in 4-weeks It was never processed so on February 24,

*I have accepted the company's refund, however it should be noted that they misrepresented the terms of the original contractUnfortunately, those who enroll in their program cannot duplicate the online enrollment process again to verify the original agreementIt is sad, to me, that an organization which promotes "education" should be so willing to take advantage of parents and children who enroll with them

her account and continue to have some concerns regarding the amount of your refund. On October 2, 2014, upon completing the online registration processyou were presented with and required to agree to certain Terms & Conditions. Those Terms & Conditions provided adetailed explanation of the $non-refundable deposit, the cancellation and refund policies, and the Full Refund ProgramDuring the enrollment process, you chose to enroll in the Full Refund Program which "protects your payments and provides a refund* minus the FRP fee if youthe Program Leaderschoolor school's administration need to cancel at any time prior to departure for any reason." Pursuant to the Terms & Conditions, the Full Refund Program Fee for *** trip was $179.00.The Terms & Conditions further explain payment plan options, handling fees and late fees which may be associated with your accountYou chose to spread your payments out into installments rather than enroll in the EZ Pay program for paymentAs explained in the Term & Conditions and noted on your invoices, "If you choose to follow the installment payment planWorldStrides charges a $non-refundable handling foe on each installment payment following your registration, except the initial deposit and the final payment.''In reviewing your account, I see that you made two paymentsOne on October 2, in the amount of $and one on November in the amount of $Pursuant to the Terms & Conditions, you were charged a $late foe for making a late payment and a $6.00 handling feePayments received totaled $This amount less the $non-refundable deposit, the $Full Refund Program Feethe $late fee and the $handling fee results in a total refund in the amount of $l However, we are making an exception and waiving the handling and late fees applied to your accountThereforeyou will receive a refund in the amount of$12l.00.Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a refund for the non-refundable deposit or the Full Refund Program Fee. I've been given te run around with worldsrides since I started making payments! When I signed my daughter up I was told that worldsrides was here to help us in which ever way they could and I have spoken to numerous supervisors regarding eztra fees as well as needing a little more time to pay! My mistake was not realizing that I received a new debit card and forgot to change it however I was called and threatened by *** *** from the financial dept that my daughters trip qas going to be cancelled over a dollar payment! I then spoke with *** to put a formal complaint on ms *** and ms *** assured me my daughters trip would not be cancelled and that I was able to make the payment this week 02-03-I then attended the last meeting for the trip on 02-02-to be humiliated by the teacher telling my daughter and I that her trip was cancelled! I left *** a voicemail last night as soon as I walked into my house and requested that a manager not a supervisor call me in reg

I have paid a total of $in payments for the trip my daughter and me were going to go on in June I had to cancel because of work obligations They say I am only getting $in refund I would like to get the total of $in payments I paid in to this company I have reviewed other complaints with the Revdex.com and people are having the problems I am I feel very cheated because when I talked to these people and stated I have the full refund program they said I am only getting partial refund because of so called fees that I new nothing aboutThey are misleading people with the lure of full refund and only refunding partialI feel like we have been scammed and we were paying way too much for the trip

My daughter school was setup to go on a trip to Washington D.Cin April of However the once I paid the trip off for myself and donations were made by family and friends for my daughter trip..Worldstrides cancelled the trip on 2/16/16(not me nor the school)The leader was not made aware of this(school) nor were anyone that was schedule for the tripWe found out more than a month laterWorldstrides was still sending emails to us during this time period to prepare for the tripNow I get they had a refund program but I was not at all cancelling the trip so I did not see a need to pay someone $for me to get a full refund of my own moneyInstead they gave me $of my full $and non of the people who donated to my daughters account will get their money back, I have to pay everyone their money back which is a total $582-$that they did refund back to that accountI am ok with them keeping the deposit but I think that it is not fair for people to have to pay to re

I have paid for a trip to Washington, D.C with my daughters classThis company makes it sound so easy and convenient to make payments, do not be misledThe process of signing each of us up and combining our trips was ridiculousIt is made to sound like as long as the trip is paid for by the deadline then that is all that matters, when in fact you will be paying a late fee each time your installment isn't exactly on time ($15) AND a fee for paying online ($6)Also if you want to be in a room with just you and your child you will pay a fee for your child and a fee for yourself, in my case it cost an extra $for us to be assigned a room togetherHere's the main kicker, when I went to the parent meeting we were given a registration deadline, you have until that day to make payment arrangements or pay in fullSo I registered and decided I would just pay whatever I could every month to help get the balance down and pay it in full when I got my taxesIn January, ( two months before the deadline the harassment started, I told them I had planned to pay in full with my taxes but the representative that answered DEMANDED a large sum that dayFinally the calls slowed down and the emails started, I replied to one letting them know what my plan was and at that point I was planning on just telling them to shove itbut I actually got a very quick and courteous response from a rep who did in fact put the cancellation of my trip on holdThe trip is now completely paid in full, however today is the day that I found out about the extra room fees
