Review: Unfortunately I signed up with the above business for a 60 day trial. I've asked for contract and terms in writing and they refuse to provide this information. I want to cancel the contract but have been told that is not possible with out a huge early term fee of $599. All requests to speak to a supervisor have been refused. The person I have been dealing with is [redacted] at ###-###-####Desired Settlement: Provide written confirmation of contract and service provided as am unable to find listing on internet. Drop charges or if won't drop charges then a reasonable early term fee since I month past trial period.

Review: I received a call from a man with the Yellow us pages company cliaming I owed 840.70. I told him I dont owe this. Then he played a message back that I soposly recorded it was vage. Wanted to know my name, every thing els was a yes answer. I told him I dint owe the money and dont remmber the conversation. A few days later I got a call from a [redacted] saying she was from the collections department and they where going to take me to court. I told her I didnt owe the money and then she played a tape. This time if was different. It gave the phone number ###-###-#### that I wounld owe 60 per month for one year. And the account numbers where [redacted] and [redacted] another nujmber was [redacted]. I told her that was not the recording the first man played for me. I dont remember the call at all. She said if I didnt pay they where going to take me to court. [redacted] said they sent me 5 notices for my bill but I have not recieved one. Saying the last was mailed on 9/** which I still have not recived. I didnt want to go to court so I payed the bill by phone on 9/**. I dont owe this bill I never talked to the company. She said if I payed today the bill would be 719.99. I think this is a scam. My number is not even on the list.Desired Settlement: Never be called agian

Review: A call was placed to our office phone by a representative of YELLOW US PAGES. They engaged in a sales pitch offering a free two month advertising service. Then we would be billed and have the opportunity to cancel. Unfortunately the person they talked to was not an authorized agent of the company to make any purchases. He believed that a notice / invoice would be sent prior two the end of the two months so that I the owner could make the final decision. No notice was sent until, they told us, the contract was in force. Which just happened to be 3 months later. Yellow US Pages told me that it was our responsibility to keep track of the two months and call them to cancel the contract. My part time person does not have authorization to make purchases. It could of been one of my children answering the phone as far as they new.Desired Settlement: We do not want there service. And we do not want to pay for something we do not want, or that I asked for.

Review: Supposedly, one of our staff "authorized" advertisement for yellow pages. The business does have a recording and I question its authenticity. The person who "authorized" the "service" is no longer with our company, so we are not able to establish her version of the conversation with the operator. However, the company refused to let me speak with a supervisor, refused to let me put numbers on their do not call list and threatened to send us to collections. In addition, the physician for the advertisement has not been with our company for many years and the advertisement is incorrect. Again, the company refused to correct/delete. I did call back on a number of occasions to ###-###-#### and was always referred back to [redacted] even when I asked to speak with someone else.Desired Settlement: I would like a billing adjustment and an ability to make sure they do not call any of our other offices.

Review: They called and offered a free trial for their online listing for Yellow Pages. I have checked on Yellow pages and there is no listing on the YP website. A few months later they call and tell us we owe $719.99 for this service that we never saw. So I asked them to cancel it and take us off. They said they can't do that because we did not end the free trial and now we have to pay for a whole year. They offered me a cancellation rate of $250.00 if I paid via credit card. I then looked up and called YP, an [redacted] company, and they have no record of contacting us. After this I was a little alarmed and looked up the company and there are a slue of complaints against this company "Yellow US Pages," for the same problem that I have. When they call they accuse me of being "forgetful" because I did not cancel the service after the allotted time and that I am required to pay the bill or they will turn our school over to a third party collection office. After reading online from numerous people complaining about the very same issue and the very same amount of "debt owed" we will not pay to this deceiving group.Desired Settlement: We would like for the Yellow US Pages to stop calling and faxing us. An apology from "[redacted]," would be nice, but she is very aggressive and mean and I fear it would not be sincere.

Review: I was contacted Sometime in March to join their top 10 program saying I would receive 2 months free trial and that I could cancel anytime before my two months was over. Nothing was ever faxed to the business stating that I agreed to a contract. The next day I sent them an email with my contract number stating to cancel my subscription. This was because I found out shortly after that this advertisement agency posing to be YELLOWPAGES was a scam. I send multiple emails and made various phone calls, however, no one responded back. When I got through to a representative and asked to cancel my subscription I was hung up on. I never recieved any invoices with a reciept or anything in the fax as I requested. I also have copies of the email I send. The bill says its due on 5\**\13 but I just received the billing statement on 6\**\13. The total amount was posted as $719.99. Today 7/*/13 I was contacted by YellowUsPages to pay up debt. The debt collector threatened to ruin my credit and this will be used as bad debt to my company for years to come. She was rude, intimidating and interrupted me several times. She also called blocked and refused to send over an contracts or agreements that I supposedly. I told her I would call her back to settle this because I am not paying up for a scam. She gave me her number to pay the balance due. it is ###-###-####Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is for the YellowUsPages to stop harassing my business for "unpaid debt" and cancel my subscription as I requested months ago. I will not pay up to a "business" that is obviously scamming other business out of their hard earned money.

Response:

Thank you for forwarding [redacted]’s complaint to my attention. Here at Yellow US Pages, we understand the importance customer satisfaction to any business and are therefore more than happy to work with our clients in order to ensure that they are pleased with the services we provide.

I have reviewed this information and must disagree with [redacted]’s claim.

We have on file, a recorded verbal authorization with [redacted]. In this recording, the representative verifies that she is authorized to place this order and explains quite clearly that the service is on a two month trial period and that they are responsible for contacting our Customer Service Department at any time during those sixty days, in order to cancel their listing.

The cost of the service, should they chose not to cancel the listing is also very clearly stated by the representative. The Customer Service toll free telephone number is openly provided on this recording, as well as a username and password for her to make any changes to her listing.

At no time during the sixty day trial, did we receive a call requesting cancellation.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have still been receiving blocked phone calls from rude, unprofessional and intimidating debt collector agents claiming to be from YellowUS Pages. As I stated in my last complaint, each time I called the 866 number provided to the customers, I was hung up on. The employees working the phone lines are extremely rude and make it extremely hard to get through to a representative to cancel the false subscription. As far as providing me with a password and username. I never received a username and password as they claim they have given me.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: Telephone call speaking to a part-time receptionist/secretary in a extremely busy medical office asking to confirm the businesses demographic and contact information. Stated there would be a free trial then an invoice would be sent and could then cancel. First and formost is that a part time receptionist is not authorized to accept any offers for [redacted], she thought she was just taking an informational message and confirming information. She was not told that she was authorizing anything and was not told that the cost would be 1079.88. The first written contact we got from the company was a fax stating that we were delinquent in paying an invoice. The Dr. called immediately to dispute this charge and to tell them that she did not want their listing. She was told that it was too late she couldn't cancel it and if she didn't pay it the account would be put in collections. The Dr. said she would report them to the Revdex.com and the woman ([redacted]) didn't seem to care. We are now getting reminders and interest and administrative charges added to the invoices they are sending us by fax. We do not want their service, we never asked for their service.Desired Settlement: Stop billing me and stop contacting me. The Dr. will not pay for anything that she did not order. That they stop misrepresenting themselves as the Yellow Pages confirming information.

Review: I was contacted by Yellow US Pages about two months ago and was offered a 60 day free trial for advertisement. I turned them down because I said these kind of offers often lead into a contract that I can't get out of because the cancellation deadline comes up before I am able to cancel. I was assured by the representative/sales person that he would contact me or email me a notice in advance (one week) before the deadline to give me opportunity to cancel. I said that this kind of advertising usually didn't pay for me and that I most likely would not follow through with a year contract. He assured me that I could try it and they would give me notice in advance of the start of the contract and if the advertising did not pan out during the 60 day trial I could just cancel. Yesterday after work, I got home to find a bill for a year contract for $719.99. I called today and was told that I had not cancelled by July [redacted] and so I was responsible for the contract amount. I explained the above, exactly as I did to you above and was told that they don't do that and I would be responsible for the full amount. I informed her that I did not receive any replies to the listing and would not go thru with the contract and definately would not pay that amount. I was never informed of the cost of the year contract in advance when contacted 60 days ago. She informed me they would turn this into collection. I have good credit and have never had anything go to collections in the past, so I am not happy with this....do not want to do business with this company....and will not pay if it goes to collection....It will not bother my business if it goes to collection but would rather not see this happen. I would like to see them listed for false advertising and think other business should be made aware of their false promises. I have never signed a contract for their services.Desired Settlement: I would like other businesses to be made aware of their false practices (all states notified). I would like them to void the contract and drop me from their listing immediately. I would like them to take me off their call list.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. I am disappointed with the company not resolving this with me and only resolving it after my making complaints outside the company and involving others. I did call the company again after filing the complaints and made them aware that I had filed the complaints and with who. They again at that time told me that I would be responsible for the unwanted contract. They offered me no way to complain within the company or offer me to speak to a manager or some one higher up. Yellow US Pages needs to review their procedures in dealing with complaints and have some formal way for people like me to address their complaints inhouse. I felt that the telephone personnel that I spoke to me were authoritarian and rude.

Sincerely,

Review: This company called repeatedly over the summer, using threatening language and being very rude. They refused to take no for an answer, calling back several times a day. The phone sales people spoke with my daughter on a day that I was busy with customers. She is 18 and was visiting for the summer. They led her to believe that they would adequately notify us when the "free trial" of this service expired. In an effort to get them to stop calling, she agreed to the free trial, with the understanding that it would be easy to cancel. She in no way agreed to a year of service. We received a faxed bill on 11/**/13 saying that we owed $770.79, which included interest and administration costs. We have no proof that we agreed to this. When I called to speak to the contact given, I explained to her that I never agreed to this service and that I was not going to pay their bill. She played back a recording of my daughter's voice, but when speaking with my daughter she is certain she never agreed to what they are claiming. The contact on the phone threatened legal action and hung up. I was very upset, especially because I am a new business owner, on a Visa. I thought that I was jeopardizing my status by not paying. I called back and gave them my business debit card number to pay the bill so I wouldn't get penalized. One of my employees was uncomfortable with what happened and called her husband to look into it. After some research he discovered that this company has been reported as being a scam and it is clear that I was taken advantage of. I contacted my bank immediately, but the payment had already been made.Desired Settlement: This company should refund our money.

Sincerely,

Review: I agreed to a 60 free trial with Yellow US Pages, with the provision that I had to call to cancel the service before Aug **, 2013. Prior to that date I tried to access our listing using the user name and password I was given during the solicitation. I could not access the listing, and took the contact information with me to call them and report the problem. I did not get around to calling them and had forgotten about the whole thing until we received an invoice via USPS on 9/*/2013. The invoice date was 8/**/2013 and the envelope was postmarked 8/**/2013 in [redacted], NY.

The back of the invoice contains a section titled "Order Cancellation". This section states "(a) After an order is accepted, Customer may only cancel the Order by providing [redacted] a written notice no longer then (sic) thirty (30) days from recieving (sic) their invoice. The front of the invoice contained the physical mailing address and a single email address at "[redacted] ON 9/*/2013 I sent an email to [redacted] requesting the order be cancelled, in accordance with their printed terms and conditions. I did not receive any word regarding my request for cancellation until I received a fax on 9/**/2013 from [redacted], Collection Agent, requesting me to contact her to resolve payment. I made a handwritten note on the top of her fax saying "This order was canceled on * September, 2013 per T&C (terms and conditions) on back of invoice." and faxed it back to her attention the next day, 9/**/2013. I also faxed her my email of 9/*/2013 where I was requesting the cancellation.

Subsequent contact from [redacted] has led to her stating that we could not have canceled this order since we do not have a "cancellation number" that was evidently to be supplied by [redacted]

My belief is this order was canceled within the time frame (less than 30 days) and in the manner (in writing via email to the only [redacted] email address available on the invoice) that is allowed by the terms and conditions in the "Order Cancellation" section on the back of the original invoice we received.

Ongoing discussions with [redacted] have not been productive since we disagree on the cancellation of this order. Payment has not been made against the invoice in questionDesired Settlement: The invoice in question should be canceled with no money due [redacted]

Review: On 8/**/2013 we received a bill for advertising in the Yellow US Pages. We received a phone call two months earlier saying we could try the advertising for free for two months and that we could cancel at the end of the two months. We were told that we would receive an email containing the log in information and the log in information was also given over the phone. We never logged into the site. After two months we received a bill in the amount of $719.99 for an annual package which we had never agreed to purchase. Also, during the phone call we were never told that we would be billed at the end of the two months for the annual fee of $719.99. We we received the bill, we wrote cancel on the bill and returned it to the company. Around Sept [redacted] the very rude phone calls started. We were told that we agreed to pay the annual amount, which we did not. The recording was played and in the recording the information regarding the annual amount was never mentioned. We have received numerous rude phone calls threatening to turn our account over to a collection firm if we did not pay the full amount. On October [redacted], we received a letter containing a settlement offer from the Pre-legal department. We do not owe this amount to the company and we have no intention of paying for something that we did not order or that was not fully disclosed.Desired Settlement: We would like a bill showing that we do not owe the company anything and we would also them, and anyone else related to the matter, to stop contacting us.

Review: The Yellow Pages US contacted us about a 2 month trial but did not explain the services nor any long term payments or contract if we decided not to use the program.

We have received an invoice by email stating we owe $700plus dollars with late fees and service charges. We have never received any information about the services nor any prior invoices, statements or company agreement documentations by mail or email.

When calling the company about the invoice they immediately stated that they emailed the paperwork and that we owe them or they will turn it into collections. They were unable to send any paperwork about the services we were being charged for other than an invoice for the amount. We have yet to see any documentation on the services offered.

They have a recording of me saying yes to many question, but the person asking the questions is not the person I recall speaking to. It sounds like my answers were overdubbed to a separate conversation.

My company is a small local company to [redacted], LA. and we do not use yellow pages or any online phone services and would not need this kind of service, which is another reason why I'm certain this is not a legitimate purchase.Desired Settlement: I would like this invoice credited and/or deleted and no further action taken for payment.

Sincerely,

Review: Yellow Pages USA has been billing our company Commercial Wireless Solutions for an online Yellow pages listing that we did not order or authorize. We have been contacted on a number of occassions by phone, mail and fax and we are now receiving a notice that our "bad debt" is about to be sold to a third party for collection unless "a settlement is reached." We have researched this company and can see that this company has been doing this scam for a number of years with countless complaints against it.Desired Settlement: Commercial Wireless Solutions would like a written acknowledgement from this company that this bill is not legitimate that Yellow Pages USA will not pursue this any further, nor turn this over to a third party for collection.

Review: I received a statement in the amount of $770.79 for services I did not authorize([redacted],owner)I called the co.and spoke to someone who states that [redacted] employee authorized it. First of all she is not authorized to confirm anything that has to do with money second of all the person I spoke to said this was a 60 day free trial with the option to cancel after the free trial. Nothing was ever said about a $770.79 charge and I never received any paperwork to that effect. Now we are being told that this is going into litigation and put on our record as a bad debt.

We have been in business for a very long time and do not want our name slandered because Yellow Pages did not follow the correct procedure of speaking to boss and not employee who only has the authority to make some business decisions as to scheduling deliveries and other office duties but not when it came to money matters. In my opinion this was a shrewd sales person taking advantage of a unsuspecting employeeDesired Settlement: I do not wish to pay for something that was not authorized by me when [redacted] told the sales person I was the boss and gave her my name

Review: I received a call at 9:30 September **, 2013 from [redacted] saying I owe them $770.79. I am not aware of nor did order this advertisement. I have no bills. The only thing that would be possible they would call me and state they would advertise AT NO COST. They used devious and false phone talk to SCAM ME. I further talked to Account Manager [redacted]. it became apparent that Yellow US Pages, [redacted] and [redacted] are [redacted].Desired Settlement: CANCEL FALSE CHARGE OR BILL OF $719.99

Review: Caller asked me some basic information, repeats my information back to me, I confirm the listing. A few weeks to a month later, I received an invoice. Assumed it was a mistake, or scam (as I've received yellow pages invoices before, although they normally stated in small print "this is not an invoice.") Today I received a fax, stating "as per user request you will find attached your updated statement and invoice. Please contact me as soon as possible to resolve your outstanding account. Sincerely yours, [redacted], Collection Agent ###-###-####. ###-###-####."Desired Settlement: The business needs to be shut down. This yellow pages scam targets small businesses. Sincerely,

Review: This past summer I received a phone call from Yellow US Pages. I was busy with customers and they asked me to verify my address. I thought it might be a customer trying to find my location. After saying yes to all the info they then introduced themselves and claimed I was eligible for a free 2-3 month internet search directory. I started to ask questions, they stated I would not be charged and if I did receive a bill to call the 1-800 number to cancel our contract. It was a very confusing call that ended quickly because I needed the phone line for credit card sales. I asked if they could call back or if I could call them back and they said they would. I did not hear back from them until I received a bill a few weeks ago. After calling their 1-800 number the operator was very rude said I could not end the contract and that I would have to pay. She informed me that I would be responsible for the bill and that they would be sending me to a collection agaency. After asking for their managers number they refused me and said they would contact me in 10 days of less. I said that I would be contacting my lawyer and the Revdex.com; I have not heard from them since. The bill they are asking me to pay is for $719.99Desired Settlement: That they do not charge me, send me to a collection agency, or any other further charges or contact from this company.

Sincerely,

Review: First, not sure if I a choise the correct nature of my complaint. We will see. [redacted] called me as a collector telling me that I owed over $1079.88 at the time for a Top 10 Program Annual Package for advertising. She played back a recording, which I remember answering to for two free months. I was supposed to call and stop, however, I forgot to. HOWEVER, when they played back the recording they said that I said yes to a Top 10 Program Annual Package, which they claim I agreed to. I would have never agreed to this at all, especially not at the cost of the program. I am much smarter than this. In any event, she said she needed to collect from me immediately and told me that I was sent a previous invoice. I NEVER received an invoice by the way. Then she proceeded to say that she emailed me -- she had an incorrect email address. She also said she sent me an earlier fax, but it was not faxed to the right number either. If this were a Yellow Page company, wouldn't they have the correct information? She refused to call back when asked and I decided after some detailed research that I was NOT going to pay for anything and I was not going to return the call. I did respond with a few emails saying that I wanted the original invoice sent to me, which she faxed one with a July ** invoice date that I NEVER received. She then offered me a discounted collection price of $719.99. I have found hundreds of individuals who are being called for the same purpose and none of them recalls agreeing to this program. I am confident that they want me to give them a CC# or pay by check, which I refuse to do right now. I feel like I am being taken. Upon your response I will proceed, if need be. Be it known that I cannot even get into the site to make tweaks as they said I could do. This has to be some sort of SCAM. Thank you kindly for listening. I look forward to your response and will be able to provide further assistance if needed. Regards, [redacted]. [redacted] E[redacted] ###-###-####Desired Settlement: I'm not going to pay this bill. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Yes I did set up payment plans for a service that I do not need and was misguided and was told that I was already in a contract. I really cannot afford this and do not need this service, like I said I was mis-informed about this product and thought it was locally, we do not use our business outside of our small town so I DO NOT NEED US YELLOW PAGES. I am willing to let them keep the money already given but I want payments stopped and no contract and I do not want any services that this company provides it is very misleading. I had asked them if I could get out of the contract and they said no and to threaten me that they have the conversation recorded well did they leave out that they need better customer service skills and to explain to potential customers that this is not your local yellow pages and after the free two months you are in a contract for over $700. No I am not taking their response I want payments stopped and I want that contract voided point blank. Thanks for your time and have a wonderful day.......
