We are still working with this client to rectify his payroll and we offered the client a 75% refund for his tax package in the amount of $1492.50, a full refund for the additional partner personal return in the amount of $200 along with the 50% refund for the payroll services in the amount of...

$250.  We informed the client of the offer but the client requested that we hold off until his payroll is rectified which we are currently working on.  We request that this complaint be put on hold since we are still working on the client's payroll.  I am not sure who sent the response but I have gone back and forth with this company about what they need and what should be provided. There are services that were paid for that were never set up. I have eight months of extra services that weren't ever done. I have emails going back to November explaining that I am not happy with the way everything was working out. I have an email letting me know that  I would get a refund for the payroll service and that has not happened yet. "Hi *, My apologies, I just came into the office. You have already been approved arefund on your payroll service, I am currently just awaiting a response on thetax services and how much we would be able to reimburse on that. As soon as Ihave a response I can notify you. "This is right off an email sent to me February ** of this year.Reading the response made by your company through the Revdex.com makes it look like you believe you have actually done me a service.I believe differently, and since you have never given me anything in return for the money I have paid for your services. I am requesting that your company re-addresses the refund percentage.

We have reviewed the client's file and havefound it to invalid as the client purchased our services online on 6/**/2014. This was not a purchase made over the phone rather the client selectedonline when she purchased her corporate documents and operating agreement. Based on this, the...

client is not eligible for a refund due to the factthat she made the purchase and allowed the monthly fee to continue to bebilled.  The client also claims that there was “no LLC in sight”but according to our records, it looks like we prepared the client’s corporatedocuments and emailed them to her on 6/**/2014. The client was supposed to sign those documents and submit them to thestate in order for her business to be registered.  We cannot be held responsible if the clientfailed to do that.  As for our phonenumber, it is active which is how the client was able to contact us to discussthis matter and request to cancel.  Atthis time, the client remains ineligible for a refund due to the fact that theclient selected and purchased this service via our website.  We appreciate your assistance regarding thismatter.

We have reviewed this complaint and have determined that we will refund the remaining $372.50 due to tax preps not being completed. However the monthly fees are completely non refundable. The monthly fee gives the client unlimited access to his accountant and the client books software. Client did have appointments and interaction with his accountant and also utilized the client books software. At this time this complaint is resolved as we have refunded the $1490 in full to Behalf. Behalf has scheduled a refund for the client to go out tomorrow 3/**/17.Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Best Regards, 1800 Accountant

 I may bring Fraud suite too against them.  I checked The State Massachusetts LLC Online Registration web site.  According to previous claim by 1-800 Accountant that State of Massachusetts online form does not allow more then 9 partners.  I can keep adding partners at [redacted]t as many as I want.  I went up to 15 partners and it still allowed me to add more partners.  Since they put in writing a fraudulent claim, I reserve the right to bring a fraud law suite, as well cauising business damages against 1-800-Accountants.Revdex.com can go Massachusetts Online Registration Form at [redacted] and check the 1-800-Accountants had been making fraudulent claims.

We have reviewed this client's complaint and we do apologize for the client's frustration. We were very willing to work on a refund with the client but upon cancellation of the account the client did let us know that she had filed a charge dispute with her bank. We did advise the client that due to...

We have reviewed this client's account and have already discussed partial refund options with this client. We do have a 30 day cancellation procedure on our website and on the client's purchase receipt and this was discussed with the client during the sales process and cancellation process....

According to our cancellation procedure "Many of our products and services are available on a subscription basis, which you may cancel at any time. In order to minimize any confusion, we can accept cancellations in writing ONLY. You can cancel by written notice to us by email [redacted] or by sending us a letter to the address below. Cancellation will become effective as of the next monthly billing cycle following receipt. If you have purchased a service that requires your participation, such as filing income tax returns or filing documents to establish a corporation, once  your service is correctly provided to you, you cannot cancel that previously provided service, even if you decide not to participate further. Refunds. Monthly fees are non-refundable prior to cancellation, and are NOT pro-rated for partial months. All refunds will be made using the same form of payment you used to pay the fees: If you paid via credit card, any refund will be credited to you the next monthly billing cycle following receipt of your cancellation notice. If you have paid any moneys your subscription Services will be considered activated. If you have activated the Services, you acknowledge that we will retain the first month's  charges. If you have purchased a service that requires your participation and we have yet to provide services you may request a full refund within 30 days of activation. We offered the client a refund minus 15% even though he cancelled after 30 days and he declined the offer.  The client informed us that he will be contacting his attorney therefore this is no further recourse a a full refund will not be issued.  We have made a good faith effort to resolve...

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:When my business tax return was "completed" by 1800 accountant, the initial result was that I owed about $1900 in taxes.  Luckily, I knew that was wrong, so I requested (then nagged, begged, and demanded) that they re-do the return.  It turned out when they redid them that I actually was due to receive a refund of several hundred dollars.  But wait.... that's not even the worst part!!!  The same thing happened when they did my personal taxes.  The first "completed" version of my personal return stated that I had to pay around $24,500 in taxes.  Luckily once again, I knew this couldn't be true.  So again.... I nagged, begged, demanded, called, emailed, begged some more, demanded again, and nagged a few more times.  Then once again, it turned out I was due a refund instead! The horrendous, sloppy, and unethical services that 1800Accountant provided would have cost me over $26,000!!!!  THAT'S TWENTY-SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Does this sound like an accountant you want to hire?!?  Just so I'm sure that I'm being clear about this.... I paid a professional accounting firm to do my taxes and help me get the refund that I am legally due to get from the government, and yet instead they told me I had to pay TWENTY-SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS.  And when I brought this to their attention, they were not expeditious nor helpful in correcting it.  I spent hours upon hours on the phone and through email nagging, begging, demanding, begging some more, pleading, and nagging again to get them to correct my returns. This is not an acceptable service.  Nobody should pay for an accountant to be this wrong, this unhelpful, and this Furthermore, I had to paper file both my own business taxes and my personal taxes.  Also, the business taxes were not completed on time.  And last, but not least, one of the accountants working on my taxes was fired.  In her own words, here's what she had to say:  "[redacted]  [redacted]  [redacted]"    [redacted]
