My wife and I are very happy with Star Electric 's service, and especially today, May 27, 2016, with the service of Ryan While out on an errand, we spotted his Star Van in the parking lot of a plaza in Chestermere We caught him just as he was about to pull out from parking He listened to our query as to whether or not he had time to work us in for a fix of a kitchen counter plug that was not working and the breaker switch for it did not seem to work properly He had a little time to spare before another appointment so he agreed to come right then and look at the problem He did It turned out to be quite minor, so he fixed it for us right away It took only a few minutes The breaker was not really a problem; it was just my ineptness with it My wife and I are delighted to have our problem fixed so soon
We also mentioned that we were considering cancellation of our special service protection and priority service program because we haven't had any electrical problems for a long time years Without giving us a hard sell, he courteously explained again the benefit of the program and we decided not to cancel it He was friendly and tested that the breaker switch and plbox were functioning properly before leaving
It was great to experience the flexibility and promptness of both Ryan and Star Electric in accommodating us so quickly on such short notice, with no appointment other than to nab Ryan in the parking lot Since it just happened to fit into his schedule, and he did not have to go far to our home, he helped us immediately He did not, instead, insist upon making a more official appointment and then waiting several days for service This happened on a Friday afternoon; we would probably not have had such an appointment until next week at least
Thanks again, Ryan, and Star Electric These little extra considerations mean a lot to us We have also enjoyed good service from Star Electric in the past with general inspections and bigger jobs
Called star in the morning and a service technician was at my house the same day the staff at the admin office were awesome and Steve D the technician was extremely thorough and professionalHe solved our electrical issue so we are very pleased with this company and Steve
4Star replaced numerous fixtures and gave us a quote on a new electrical panel The technicians arrived on time, were very professional and courteous The did the work efficiently and cleaned up when done I was very pleased with the service

The best thing is I had such a fun day! Luke was so accommodating in showing me how things work behind the drywall that I had never seen before
An electrical fire had occurred in my townhouse back in the 80s, around am in my bedroom when I was sound asleepI woke up from a dream of being in and elevator that was sizzling and buzzingWoke to the realization that my bedside table with the lamp, alarm clock, wax and plastic stuff was floor-to-ceiling on fireIt was well within an arms length as is with reachable bedside tables
I told Luke about this and he took the time to listen and explain to me why that could happen then, and why it could NOT happen now
