Highly recommended! From the very first point of contact with customer service to when Ryan M. arrived and solved the problem, my experience with 4 Star Electric exceeded my expectations. Very professional and courteous service. Ryan solved our electrical problem almost immediately, but also took his time to explain to me in a simple way how the electrical system works in our house. So that if ever in the future the same or similar electrical problem happens again, we could try and fix the problem ourselves. And if not, we would definitely go with 4 Star Electric again!

Luke and an apprentice came within the time window scheduled. Luke was knowledgeable, efficient, helpful with suggestions and both were pleasant to deal with. I would certainly ask for Luke next time I need this company's service.
I needed two detectors hard-wired in my house and a variety of other electrical jobs. Upon checking with the Revdex.com, 4 Star is one company that came up. They had a great rating and greater reviews - which I read.
Contacting the company was quick and easy. I expected the standard procedure - not so. Jen (office) said she could schedule Ryan to review my list, come to a price and if agreeable, the work would begin right then! And begin it did! The scope of my job would take two days to complete.
During the process, Ryan found aluminium wiring in one of the fixture contacts, showed me and suggested I google 'aluminium wiring'. After doing so, I felt the wiring should be dealt with sooner than later. It took 4 Star a total of three days to complete all my work.
Directly I dealt with Jen and Whitney in the office; Ryan, Thomas, Quentin, Dave and Scott were the electricians involved in my project and Trevor and Zane made the projects financially feasible for me. These people were prompt, professional and extremely pleasant! No one was ever 'out-of-sorts' and no one was late !!! I know, 'unique' comes to mind ...
The City Electrical Inspector has already come and gone. Lastly, Zane provided me with a letter to present to my insurance company stating all aluminium connections have been rebuilt and the aluminium wiring in my house is now safe. Talk about 'putting your money where your mouth is'... this company is tops!
In my opinion, it would be foolish to use any company but 4 Star Electric Ltd.

Luke and Mike were respectful and thorough, and they were honest with the description of the work requested and the pricing. I was surprised by the cost, but also aware that I've never paid for electrical work before and my knowledge of costs was very outdated. When they outlined the breakdown of the costs, everything seemed reasonable and logical. The work was done well, with attention to my own preferences and wishes. They left the work area clean and worked caringly to protect surfaces. Happy and satisfied with the results. Great job, including humouring my questions and desire to watch and learn.

She did a wonderful job in our house and she has a great personality to go with it. Having her in our house was very helpful to us as she ended up fixing more problems that we did not even know about after doing the safety checks that they do in your home when they visit to do a job.

I needed a plug installed for a new over the range microwave I was having installed the following week. I called to book the appointment and they were able to have someone come out on the day requested. I had an appointment booked for a 2 hours window between 12 and 2. I received a call from the company around 10 am and they stated, the electrician was done early at his first job and could be at my place in 45 mins, if that was convient. It was, so approximately 45 minutes later the electrician showed up. He introduced himself and put shoe covers over his boots, even though he was not wearing them into the house. He told me a bit about himself and the company. He looked over the work I wanted him to do. He then stepped out of the house and got 3 options together for the work I had asked. He explained each option and then told me the cost of each. We agreed on one and he did up a work order with the cost on it and I signed it. He did the work quickly, then cleaned up any "mess" he had made (brought his own work vacuum). He also did a safety inspection of my place, checking out the panel, smoke detectors and ground faults. He did up a report and went over any suggestions he had of work he thought should be completed. He was courteous and explained everything well.
Have used this company twice in the past 5 months - excellent service and knowledgable service providers.
