A-1 repair was contacted one a Monday of all days for a problem with a garage door opener. The technician By the name of Jed responded to our call for service. Upon his arrival he examined the door and noted the problem. He also noticed that there were several other problems that he though should be addressed. Jed went over the list of problems and informed me that although I could get by with just fixing the broken cable h said that that was just putting a bandage on the problem and that the other issues really needed to be addressed. After explaining the cost and what was going to be done, I agreed to have all the work that he suggested. He went to work right away and in a matter of a few hours on a very hot day was able to complete the repair. I am completely satisfied with the work that was performed and the quality of the service A-1 door and Jed there technician performed and the new garage door opener he installed is truly unbelievable. I have never heard such a quite door opener in my life. I really have to thank A-1 and Jed for taking care of my needs on short notice and on such a hot day. This truly is one professional company. I needed my old garage door looked at. He inspected and informed he on my garage door needs. I needed to replace the rubber on the bottom of the door. We also discussed replacing the wheels and the left side downward track. Everything else was in good working order. Jim repaired and replaced all the part on this services call. He did find out 2 hinges needed replacing. Jim let me know what he was doing and why he had to be creative to finish the bottom rubber and casing. Very knowledgeable and informative. He did an excellent job. Thank you for completing the job in a timely manner.
