I've been a customer of Acosta Heating & Cooling since 2014 (purchased a furnace and central air package from them) and have had only positive experiences with preventative maintenance and rare service needs. In all interactions I've had, they've completely stood behind their work and the manufacturer's equipment they installed.
I'd recommend Acosta Heating & Cooling to anyone looking to purchase a heating and/or cooling system or to service an existing system.
We had our HVAC unit installed by Acosta and have them do semi-annual checkups. Each of their technicians has been polite, thorough, and did a great job of explaining the situations encountered. Today Mike P. did our servicing and spent an extensive amount of time checking out our system. He found a capacitor that wasn't meeting specs and recommended replacing it before it became a problem, shutting down the whole system. Like previous techs, he was very thorough and explained the evaluation very clearly. One thing that irks me about Acosta's visits is the "upselling" of things like humidifiers and surge protectors. Those items can cost a third of what the original unit cost!
Acosta is an outstanding heating and cooling company in terms of customer service and technical expertise. You can select them for replacements or repairs with confidence. Highly responsive and always professional.
Because of the stuffy weather we have been having we turned the air conditioner over the weekend. Yesterday we smelled a burning type odor and promptly turned off the system and called Acosta today. They got us scheduled for this afternoon and xxxxx called to let us know when he was on his way. My husband and I are housepainters and appreciated the call and accuracy of their time estimate so we could plan what time we needed to finish up our day. xxxxx also completed our regular maintenance on our heater last week and was right on time. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with our numerous questions! Thank you!

I moved to the xxxxx area two years ago and had my first encounter with a local heating and air conditioning service organization with the house we bought in the area of xxxxx. The current system is over 10 years old and needed a complete assessment of the heating and air conditioning (3) systems. The appointment was kept on time and I did not waste the entire day waiting for someone to show up like the cable guys often delay their appointments. The service technician was very knowledgeable and courteous during the service visit and explained in detail the work that was performed and the operational efficiency of these systems. He even reset the thermostats and tested the accuracy of those units at the same time.
I have chosen to use Acosta as my only service organization for my home heating and air conditioning systems going forward. I know that I can count on getting the best service on my home systems with confidence!
Andy B. of Acosta has been maintaining both my HVAC systems for a few years. His title is Service Pro. That represents a 5 star (level) technician. Frankly 5 stars is NOT what Andy provides in terms of service...his service, attitude, abilities and EXPERIENCE is above a rating system limited to 'stars'!. Diamonds is a better description! A+++++
