He keeps calling people to complain but will not bring his car in. He called my customer service department at our corporate office last week and they asked for me to call him - so I didHe has brought his car in a few times and we drove it around and found nothing wrong. I asked him if
he continues happening often to please bring it in, so we can actually see this problem. Unless something happens when he brings it in, I have nothing to fix. He point blank says this doesn't happen all the time. We want to help him and fix it since he has a warranty, but we haven't seen issues

On 11-24-Airtron replaced the 2" vent pipe with 3"The furnace is operating within the manufactures specifications

The customers vehicle was towed into us on March 3rd making a loud knocking noise After inspecting the vehicle it was determined that there was literally no oil in the engine As the customer stated we were unable to find any leaks from the new engine to cause this After
speaking with the customer, as she verifies in her complaint here, she had the oil changed at a *** Instant Oil Change in January She states also in her complaint that the oil light was flashing It appears clear that the oil change place failed to put oil into her vehicle after draining it out We cannot warranty an engine replacement for failure to have oil in it Clearly *** is at fault for not installing oil in the customers engine While we appreciate the customers situation and make every effort to stand behind our workmanship, cannot warranty the engine and the customer needs to address this issue with ***

*** was never charged for any repairs to his tranfer case therefore it is not covered by any warranty The only repair that he payed for was a rebuild on his transmission He does have a warranty on the transmission We can not be held accountable for every part on his vehicle
It did develop a leak from his transfer case tail housing seal and he drove it until it was empty....however he was fully aware it was leaking and never choose to do anything about it He admits he drove it knowing it was broken and was off road when it happened Although the situation is unfortunate, this is a simple case of someone trying to get something for nothing

1/5/I talked to *** at that time and explained she wud be responsible for the towing and the fact we were comimg off the christmas and new yesr holiday weeks that if it was a minor repair I would be able to have their vehicle ready that week if not it would be the following week at best as we were behind due to the holidaysAfter checking the *** we found it was not minor and the transmission had to be removed to repairWe were able to complete the *** at the end of the following weekWhen picking the vehicle up *** told us it would be a cold day in befor they paid us for the tow so I didnt charge them the towing fee of $The *** did fail and it was the torque converter again which is a common problem in those vehicles and the fact I might of rushed it here at my shop due to the constant calls almost everyday but that is no excuseI had it towed to the *** Aamco at no charge and had it repaired at no chargeI feel a refund is not an option at this point due to the fact they have got 13,miles out of my service to this point and it was repaired under warranty at no chargeWe never refused to repair *** under their warranty it was just bad timing comimg off the holidaysThey disputed the charge with the finance company and wanted refund and they agreed with me and denied their refund requestAs far as rental reimbersmentTheir warranty doesnt cover rental car and *** told me they were borrowing mothers vehicleIf they can show me receipts for rental car I am willing to go $towards rental minus the $tow fee they refused to payAt this point I feel this is fair. Hello as stated on the warranty paperwork the tow is not covered. This is a practice of all Aamco Centers. Im truly sorry but we stand by the rules of are warranty terms. This is outline on every customers repair order

I have rebuilt this transmission times and it does not workthere are some very rare circumstances where the case of the transmission is bad and it crossbleeds oil used for line pressureWe have determined that this transmission is unbuildable and no shop can rebuildIt needs an entire new
transmission casingWhen I explained that we have to purchase an entire new transmission the customer has disappearedThe customer has not paid a single penny for the dollars I have spent rebuildingI don't expect payment because the transmission is not functioninghowever, when I explained that we have to buy a new transmission with a better warranty and will require a deposit to order the transmissionI have not heard from customer sincethe price of the new transmission is the same as the original rebuild quote...so there is not a change in pricingthe difference is that I have to have the portion of the money to pay for the transmissionhe has not called me nor answered his phoneI question whether he intended to pay for this job to begin with

We always try to make customers happy as that is how the business thrivesWe are sorry for the problems Mr*** is experiencingI am also sorry he doesn't feel he was treated well and that his engine locked upI do not understand what I could have said that would make Mr*** feel I was "rude" or not "friendly." I don't understand why you complaining about a timing belt when you clearly have a blown head gasket from overheating your vehicle As I stated before, your warranty has expired with the supplier we purchased the motor through Beside you admitted yourself the you continued to drive your vehicle even after you knew it was overheating Based on that information, even if you were still covered under warranty, the vendor would void your warranty due to the overheating condition What are you asking from AAMCO? You still have not stated clearly what you want from us

First of all we never not cover customer vehicle under warranty. The customer has engine codes *** and *** this are engine codes. The engine controls the transmission not the transmission controlling the engine. The engine needs to be running right before the transmission will
perform correct. Both this codes tell the transmission to max line pressure. The vehicle needs to have the engine problem fixed and then the transmission

On 6/26/we made a visit to Mrs***'s home in response to her complaint of air quality issues in her new home. When we arrived on June 26th we noticed that her electronic air cleaner was not turned on and that she did not have a low return in her home which would make it very cold in the
winter. Her heat comes out of the ceiling and a high return in the ceiling would pull the heat across the ceiling into the return and she would have very cold winter floor temperatures, especially problematic for elderly individuals. We turned her electronic air cleaner back on for her. As requested by Mrs***, we provided a quote for installing a REME air purifier exactly like the one she had in her other home as well as a thermostat. Additionally, we provided an estimate for installing a low return duct to pull the cold air off the floor. Mrs*** contacted us on 6/29/and gave us approval to install the REME and thermostat. On 7/6/we installed the REME for $1,but she declined to have the thermostat installed. She then requested a quote on a dehumidifier and a thermostat. On 8/25/Mrs*** called to schedule the low return ductwork we had quoted plus installing a central humidifier. The return ductwork and humidifier was installed on 9/17/thru 9/18/for $3,165.00. On 12/15/Mrs*** called us with a complaint that the humidifier was running constantly and that the humidity was 53% in the home. She said it felt too humid and wet feeling. Our technician found the humidifier we installed was not running but a free standing humidifier in her bedroom was running. This is where she took her humidity readingsWe charged her $for this trip rather than our customary $fee.On 2/18/Mrs*** called in to schedule the thermostat installation. When our technican arrived, she declined to have the thermostat installed. We did not bill her for this trip. On 3/25/Mrs*** called in to say there was a loud noise from the HVAC equipment in the attic and that she also doesn't think the REME is working properly. We found the filter was dirty, which we cleaned and verified the REME was working properly. We recommended and installed a new programmable thermostat for $495.00. On 4/21/Mrs*** called to say there was fuzzy dust all over the house. We could not find anything wrong and did not bill the customer for this trip. On 7/11/Mrs*** called in to say her unit was not cooling. She said she had to play with the thermostat to get it to come on. We replaced the thermostat with a new unit. We did not charge her for this visit. On 7/17/Mrs*** called in to say the thermostat was not working. We found that her unit was low on refrigerant and added two pounds of refrigerant for $208. We did not charge her a $diagnostics fee for this trip. This is the first time she asked us to service her HVAC equipment. Once the refrigerant was added the unit began cooling properly

Horrible business experience with AAMCO transmissionTransmission on a Nissan Quest was overhauled but crusie control mechanism apparently broke during the transmission overhauling processWhen I took the car back two days after work completion (thinking that they left some cable disconnected, as the reason for cruise control not working) I was told that this was not their problemThat they could replace the broken part but that it would cost me to have the work doneWhen I asked to check the work they had done to confirm that nothing was left undone they told me it would take a few days as they had too much work but that it would cost me to have it checked
I dealt with one of the owner whose name is *** ***AAMCO should do a better job in selecting who represents their name in the industry

To whom it concerns, In regards to answering all of these questions I would like to begin by saying i'm sorry that you feel this way and that you broke down on your tripAs I do a lot of traveling I always try and put myself on my customers shoesMy first response to
the vehicle that transported you was that it was our service vehicle that is used often when family's are broke down and can not fit in the tow truckOur first objective is to get the family safe and off of the interstate as quickly as possibleI am sorry you felt it was dirty and I will have that addressedI have been in some very filthy cabs as wellWe let you know up front the charges for the service before we were on scene and as a paying customer you did have the right to refuse and call for a taxiMy staff is very accommodating as well and since you were traveling if you would have asked for the name or number of a cab service we would have done that for you as wellI am not sure how long it wound have taken them to get to you on interstate between exits and in the medianWe discussed this information with AAA as well before any service was doneAfter calling the tire shop that you were to be taken to originally they were called on your behalf to make sure they could get the locking lug nut off without the proper key and they said they did not have the proper equipment to achieve thisOnly then was it suggested that you come to my facilityAAA was aware of this as wellBefore any work was done you were told of the charges to perform this task as the proper tools are very expensiveUnfortunately your tire which was punctured was run flat on the rim (nothing could have been done differently on your part as you were at highway speeds) did have damage on the inside of the tire from the rim riding on the side wallThat tire was not reusableAlso the tire size was not a common in stock sizeWe did not have it in stock then called around the area and had to go to a source not usually used to purchase a tire for you and I as well had to pay premiumUnfortunately it was a name brand tire that I would not have normally recommended but was the right size to immediately get you back on the roadBefore this was done again we asked you if you wanted us to continue looking or did you want us to get it done immediateThere is always mounting and balancing charges on top of the actual tire price as the type of weights that your type of rim requires are also very expensiveI apologize again as it it never fun to brake down and feel as though you are held hostage by a repair shop but this is not what we didWe gave you options to get you on the road quickly and safelyI have also reached out to you by telephone to have a conversation with you and still would like to hear from you. The tow is not covered under warranty it is the customer responsibility. This is stated on the warranty information. Thank you
